No... but I think parents will think otherwise. I am sure you are not a Michael Jackson, but parents might feel awkward about leaving their kids with a teenage male, due to all the rape stories and stuff, not to be all sexist or anything, but I think you shouldn't.

not at all!! guyz babysit all the time. Some guyz do it cuz they like kids, but most cuz they need the money, and most placed dont hire at 15 years of age.. dont worry about it. :D

I know a 16 year old straight man that babysits. And I know quite a few straight men that have children...Is that odd? There is absolutley nothing wrong with watching children, especially if you get paid for it. :)

Not really. It's just kind of awkward. I'm not saying I think its awkward or anything, it's just that girls tend to babysit more than boys do. But, otherwise, theres no problem with it ^_^

No its normal to babysit even if you are a male. I always liked for older guys to babysit me because the girls always talked about stuff and always did girly things and guys had time for me and played with me. So no its practically normal. I even babysit but I'm 13 tho but still straight male.

Of course not! Honestly, there aren't very many jobs you can get when you're 15, and you need money!! Who cares if you babysit? So long as you're making money, what's the problem? If anyone gives you crap about it, you could always say "Well, at least I have some money now.." or something. :-) lol

No. If you want to babysit then go for it. As long as the parents are okay with it. i don;t see a problem in it. guys can do lots of things that girls can do. For intance being a nurse. I don't see how being straight has anything to do with it. A lot of parents seem to be more comfortable having girls babysit their kids, not sure why that is exactly. I guess that means it is up to the parents of specific children, because it doesn't matter that there really isn't anything wrong with it, because parents make the decision ultimately.

I guess its one of those things which are generall left to us chicks (face it we do .. just joking). Its just to do with stupid sterotyping hundreds of years ago and basically what roles we play today. If you want to then go for it, if anyone gives you a hard time for it- show them the money you make while sitting around baby sitting.
I will be truthful that it would probabley be harder as mothers usually trust girls more then guys... I have no idea why, they just do. It would probabley be the same if the father was choosing someone to watch his precious possession more likely to trust a guy. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with a guy baby sitting... i mean what do you think fathers do?

No, a lot of guys in my neighborhood that need money will help a girl babysit, or if all the girls are busy then they will babysit. During football games when all our neighbors go out to one persons house, all the older kids in the cul-de-sad (like 4 of us) Will watch all the younger kids (like 20 something) and 2 of them are guys, the other 2 are me and my sister. So no, it might be weird, but a lot of guys babysit... I don't know about 15 year old guys, but 12-14 year old guys do.
