was this too much to charge for 5 hours of babysitting?

my brother asked me to babysit this friday, I said want $10hr...for 5 hours....$50 for the day...he said im charging too much, I said u pay the daycare that....and maybe even more....the kid has to eat too....I gotta feed my niece also...well now he thinks im charging too much and said nevermind a bout keeping my niece...and now he is mad at me. am I charging him too much or are my prices just fine?

How to entertain a 5 year old?

I just started a babysitting job for a 5 year old girl today. I will be watching her every Thursday while my cousin works. I need some activities that I can do while watching her please keep in mind that I have no transportation and my cousin will be dropping her off at my house. I also need some quick lunch ideas because I am not a great cook. Thank you!

My mom is having surgery tomorrow and she will be recovering all week so I will be the one to take care of them all week while she is recovering my niece is 14 and my nephew is 12 and I wanted ideas for activities for the week to do with them and meal ideas

Every year, I try to get my parents to let me go to a kid's college. They say I can if I want to, but I still can't babysit anyone. I even try to reason with them. I say that I should at least get to try so I can understand what it's like to do it on my own. I can help the people in my community, but I do realize that I have responsibilities. I should keep a watchful eye over the child and the house. What do I do?

He throws a fit if you tell him no ice cream any hints. The mom does nothing cause he does the same thing every time i go over and the only way to get him to stop throwing a fit is to tell him he can have some but it doesnt feel right . Help me!

I babysit until midnight for this woman, so she can't drive me home. Her kids are in bed and they have school the next morning, so shed have to wake them up. So, she has one of her coworkers drive me home. He's really nice.. But, he's gay. I feel really uncomfortable about it. I sensed it the first time he drove me home, he said a house was pretty. And then I told him I liked country music and he said, So reba? I think she's country i know she has a tv show... And well I haven't ever heard a straight guy say anything like that! So I decided to facebook him and well it turns out he is in fact gay and in a relationship for 20 years with a man.... What should I do? I just feel so weird about this!
