my xboyfriends brother just died today, and i i'm not dealing with it very well. i just dont know what to do, it feels like no matter who i talk to i cant lift up my spirits. my boyfriend right now has been doing everything he can to help me, but its not working. even people who arent my friends are helping me, im just not making any progress. what should i do??

Me and my brother both bought Betta Splendens. (Better known as-Siamese Fighting Fish) We wanted to know how much to feed them we bought tiny pellets that they have at the pet store. We both have males so they cannot be together. How much do we feed them a day? How much do we change their water and any other basics? Thanks.

Don't bother reading this unless you have gotten a perm before. I want to get a perm like so it is wavy or whatever they can do but i am afraid they will mess up or it will totally mess up my hair. hey. yeah, i'm an insomniac. as long as i can remember i haven't ever been able to fall asleep is less that like 3 hours. so i basically go to bed at 3 and wake up at 6.30 (school days). i don't take medicine for it but i need to! i want to sleep and my mom has sonata (i guess she also has insomnia) and i want to take one. she'd never notice and i dont think she'd really care. should i take one? i mean what bad will it do? also, does anyone else take sleeping pills or have insomnia? thanx
you shouldent take any!they might be and overdose for you. if you really cant sleep try talking to your mom or doctor and ask her if you need those pill or at least if you could take one of your moms.dont take any without asking your mom first though.

tell your sister that it is hard work and you take time out of your life to watch her daughter and you should get paid. also because you could be out with your friends doing something else so you should be rewarded or she will have to watch her own child.

My best friend has OCD... and she reminds me of it like 24/7. Whenever she leaves the house she asks like over and over if she left sumthin on and such. Ok I have this friend and I am always there for her.. well she is confusing me... Ok last night she didnt wanna come over cuz she was waiting for the guy that BEATS her.. so she can hang out with him. I've had a hamster before (when I was really young) and since have gotten into reptiles a lot, and have snakes and lizards and all that. So I'm pretty used to handling a lot of animals, (and, well, I wouldn't do something idiotic like holding a rodent before handling my snakes.)
I think rats are one of the most intelligent species of animals, and make great pets. I've always loved them, and I'd like to get a young rat. - I'm not sure how to take care of one, though. Are they OK in a regular cage? In a tank? Is taking care of a rat more complicated, or about the same as a hamster? If I do get one, I want it to have a full life. How long do they usually live?
I tried looking info up on these guys but everything was contradictory, depending where I got it from. Thanks for anyone who helps, and please - no comments on rats and snakes being "gross! eww!!!11oneone!!". They're really nice animals and beautiful creatures.
Okay I have a rat and she is a good pet she lived in a tank for a while but we moved her to a cage with bars and stuff.So it doesnt matter what type of cage you put it in.I dont no how long they live though you could ask someone at Petco or where ever you are going to get your rat from.

I'm 16/f, and I have 3 friends who always do stuff withought me. I feel like i'm never included in anything they do. And I always feel like they're talking about me at theyre little get togethers. I'm always sitting at home while they're out having fun and they don't even bother to call me. I also think they're parents hate me as well, which sucks even more. My question is, what should I do when they DO call me and what should I tell them?
tell them how you feel or if that sounds to stupid then you should invite all of them to the movies or something so you could hang out with them and see what they do without you

ok i ride this horse western-- i usually ride english but i dont own a horse right now and my neighbor has 2 western horses that i help her ride... ok well we are trying to train these 2 horses to back up and do all that western obedience stuff... like the pat parelli stuff... the horse she rides is very good but the one i ride just doesnt seem to get the concept of backing up... i do everything correctly-- i tease his mouth by kinda jiggling the bit and when he does take a step i praise him... also, my neighbor does not like her horses to be punished or treated with any meanness so i cant really punish him for not obeying me... it takes this horse like 15 minutes to back up about 5 feet... its completely rediculous and its not a matter of time because ive been doing this for weeks... theh horse does everything else perdectly (eg side-stepping, even backing up when im not on him) but he doesnt back up when im riding... anyone know any totally humane techniques??? this horse is driving me insane! thanx! i rate high
i dont no how u can do it on his back but to back him up wen ur off push chest a little and kiss to hin usually it works for my horses.

My cousin knows I do this advice thing, and she has a question, but she's embarassed to ask me and she wants to ask the whole site not just one specific user. The problem is, she's 12. Would I get into trouble letting her ask it under my username? What about if I at least convince her to ask it to just one specific columnist, would that be okay? She won't tell me what the question is, so how do I go about it? I know that you're supposed to be 13+ to ask questions on this site, but... I don't know. What kind of trouble would I get in for letting her ask under my username? I won't if I'd get into trouble, like if I'd lose my modship, or if I'd be banned, but I can't convince her to ask me. So, would I be breaking the rules?

i have a 3 year old bichon frise, and he IS potty trained. when he was younger we would let him out like 10 times a day to pee. well all the sudden this year he's been peeing on the carpets like at least once a week. we're selling our house, so we got BRAND NEW CARPETS throughout the house, and he still keeps peeing on those! we even get the spray stuff to disguise the smell so he won't go back to the spot but he still does. my dad says if he pees in our new house we're giving him away! =( so how do i get him to stop? i suggested obedience school but they said no he's too old. how do we discipline him PLEASE help if you know about dogs.
first of all is he neuterd? if is isnt thats why.if he is its prolly cause you got new carpets so he want to mark his territory.if thats not it either he might have a bladder envection.

Ok i have a puppy, i just got the other day and she will be 7 weeks old tomorrow...well my problem is...she wont stop useing the bathroom on my floor in my bedroom and everywhere else in the house...even though i tell her no...thats bad and not to do it again but she keeps on and on whenever i see that shes about to go to the bathroom i pick her up and rush her outside....its annoying and i need advice on how to get her to stop useing the bathroom on my floor...thanks...i'll rate anyone who answers this for me!
when she goes put her face near it and say no.then put her outside or in the crate.if you need to put newpaper down so she can go on that.
