13/m. me and my girlfried have been going out for about a year. But we have never really done anything like even go to the movies!!!! So yah. This is all because she wont tell her parents about us. Im not at all a bad kid. Im pretty good looking, good grades, never got suspended, nice, ect. I'm getting a little tired of this b/c i want to be able to do stuff with her. should i dump her and move on? or should I stay with her? Why wont she tell them? I no its not b/c her parents think she is too young, and she has like a really good relationship with her parents. What should i do? Stay? or go? Please help!!!! I RATE HIGH!!! (link)

I personally would be moving on.
1) She isn't telling you the reason she won't tell her parents about you. A gf/bf should be able to communicate and talk about anything.
2)She won't tell them so you can't actually date. That being the case, I see no point in being a token boyfriend for her around school.
With your credentials you shouldn't have any problem finding a girl who will be more of a girlfriend to you than the current one. Good luck in whatever you decide. :)

Has Sara told her too? I think it has to be both or she isn't going to listen. Be careful if Sara doesn't feel the same way about Alicia. She may turn on you...that wouldn't be good. :)

My ex boyfriend and I still have feelings for each other. The only reason we broke up was because of an Instant Messanger Misunderstanding since someone always goes on his screenname. Well, he has a girlfriend who he only likes as a friend (which I think he got to make me jealous.) He and I want to get together but I'm afraid I'm going to get hurt? So should we keep ourselves a secret, should we tell his girlfriend about us, or should I just tell him its not a good idea? We really like each other. So any advice would be great. He needs to break up with the girlfriend before you even THINK of going out with him. The only reason he could want to keep it secret would be if he had no intention of breaking up with her. He wants to use you and keep her. Not a fun place to be for you! So, if you keep it secret yes, you probably will be hurt. The fact that hes willing to cheat on his girlfriend with you should give you some insight to his character anyway. He cheats on her he'll probably cheat on you. Tell him its not a good idea and find a new guy. :)

ok this is going to be rather long but lets get to it i am a 14 year old female i love my like and have thousands of friends...but there is this guy i know nick he is so hot and super sweet about a week ago me and my friends Jessica & sarah went to a movie with nick. me and him sat together.. when i went to get a drink my friends asked him if he liked me he said yes but he wasnt over his ex girlfriend. but then half way through the movie he grabbed my hand..i was super happy adn we kinda cuddled then at the end of the movie he kissed me and we kinda made out this is normally not like me but if just kinda happend then we walked out of the theater holding hand and we hugged outside untill the minute i left..then he kissed me.
then next day he sent me a E-mail saying he really likes but but he can't go out wiht me i was so crushed and he told me to sit around and wait for him to be over his ex....
this is so not like nick he is not the kind of guy to EVER do that amnd everyone was shocked.
then a couple days ago he totally forgot abput me and told my bestfriend that he didnt like anyone ....there is lots mnore o the story but i am so crushed i tried to tell him how i felt but all he could say is i dont hate you i like you.
so know i dont know what to do ...he kissed me and then just left me???

I think he does like you. he probably just isn't over his ex enough to date yet. Give it a little time and have your friends stop bugging him because that might make him mad. You want to wait until he is good and over the ex. Otherwise, you just become someone he dates to get over her and it won't last long. He must care enough not to want to use you like that, so give him time. :)

It certainly sounds like he is flirting with you.
He probably likes you but is afraid to say anything for fear of being rejected. Give him time and I bet he will ask you out. You could ask him too if you wanted. :)

There's this guy from work that I like, and I'm not sure if he likes me as more than a friend, or just a friend.
I'm not sure, but I think he flirts with me. He'll steal a salt shaker from one of my tables, and won't give me it back unless I chase him around the kitchen for it. He shouts my name across the dining room, and risks getting fired for it. He talks to me a lot, and will usually even help me clear a table just to talk to me.. he does little things for me like that. If I'm carrying a tray, or something, he'll put his hand on my back and help guide me through the doors. I'm a pretty shy person, so I hate it when I talk to customers as I'm clearing a table, so usually he'll come over and talk to them for me...
But.. there's two other girls.. and they usually go up to him, and hug him. And they're pretty. And outgoing. And I don't know, I just don't think he likes me. How about you? (link)

I'd say he likes you. Don't know if its as more than a friend but talk to him whenever you can and with luck he will ask you out. Don't worry to much about the huggers, more than likely they are real irritating girls. :)

I am freakishly shy, and its a real real problem. I thought I was over it, but I went up to my new school, [it was just built so everyones new but I know like everyone there, kinda not really though] and I just couldnt act ike myself, I was so quiet, I barely said anything. I wanted to cry all night, even though I was with my friends! I guess its just akward because I switched schools 2 years ago and didnt get to see them that much so its really weird being around them yet not weird at the smae time. I want opinions on this one. I'm 17 (almost 18)/f, my boyfriend's 19. We're both going into college as freshman, but we're going into different colleges. I heard there are dances at my school and I'm assuming there will be some at his.
My thing is, I really wouldn't feel comfortable going with anyone but him, but he'll be living like 45 minutes away from me and I have no car and therefore no way to pick him up.
He does have a car, but I doubt he'd want to drive 45 minutes to get me, run back, and then run me back later. (Though he did promise he'd drive over and see me every other week as long as college didn't kill him workwise)
Opinionwise - should I find out the dance date(s) and try to work it out so I can drag him, or do I just go alone?
Also, do I tell him if there are dances I want him to take me (mostly because I honestly want to meet his friends...and besides, he's a good dancer)? Would that seem too much like I'm trying to keep tabs on him? I trust him, and he knows that.

I think you should both get dance schedules and make a calender of when both are. Then I think you should try your best to make it to as many as possible. My hubby drives 45 minutes to work everyday and it isn't that bad. It really shouldn't be that big of a deal. Hope it all works out for you. :)

well....ok my boy n I have been going out since that last week of school but after that we haven't talked!!! but one of my friends (a boy) called him and he realli didn't seem to care about me!!!!! and i had the biggest crush on him toO!!! so it hurt and i love him! and everyting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and like i want my friend who called him to dump him for me but he hasn't done it and now i am having second thoughts......i am soooooooo confused!!

You really need to do the dumping yourself. Maybe he doesn't really consider you as his girlfriend since he hasn't called. Call him and see whats up, if the answer doesn't meet with your approval then tell him you think you will look for someone else to date. :)

I'm really tired of just wearing jeans and a t-shirt to school. I want to start dressing nicer. But all the nice/cute clothes that I find are tank tops or spaghetti straps. And the problem with that is at my school all tops have to have a strap of 3 inches.
Does anyone know of any place that has nice/cute tops that aren't tank or spaghetti?

I won't pretend to be a good one at giving advice on fashion. Jeans and T-shirts suit me down to the ground! However, why not try a nice little light weight blazer or jackets to cover the spaghetti strapped tops? Then you could wear them out and about without but, still be okay for school. :)

One thing that I read about and tried that really works...strange as it seems:
Turn around and sleep at the opposite end of the bed. In other words put your head where you usually put your feet. I have no idea why this works, maybe its just something different. Sweet dreams. :)

You aren't a slut. Kissing is not being sexually promiscuous, which is what slut means if you look it up in the dictionary.
I agree with the others that you are the victim of some jealous girl who wants to make you look bad. Try your best to ignore it. Your friends and people who know you realize you aren't one. :)

I used to cut. Not going to go into details, I used to cut and once I thought I went too deep. I've since realized how stupid and dangerous I was being. Tell a responsible adult who can help him. Will he be mad? Yes he probably will be but, he might live to get over it. If he did something now you would never forgive yourself your not saying something. So, do it right now. If hes told you about it that's a cry for help...get him some. Make sure it is an adult who won't blow it off.

A lot of changes take place for teenagers. A lot of hormones gone wild and a lot of new experiences. So, changing your mind often is pretty normal. Be yourself...there is only one of you and you can't get any more original than that. :)
