Ok, Well, my hamster Cocoa is acting very sick latley. I love him so much and would do and thing for him. He seems to be shaking almost and sneezing/sqeaking and i think he might even be trying to cough! He is now forming this crust around his nose and just a lil around his nose. I'm so worried about him, does any one know what sickness this could be or how i should handle this? (Indeed)

Well, people don't usually bring hamsters to the vet because, well, to be perfectly honest they don't usually live long and are very replaceable. But, I used to have a hamster and it lived for a good long while so if you're really concerned bring the hamster to the vet. Though I will be brutally honest here and tell you that my hamster (his name was Buddy, ya he was cute) used to shake quite a bit and climb to the top of the cage and just kind of sit there upside down and shortly after that he went to hamster heaven. It was sad. Not that that is going to happen to your hamster, but its possible that he is very sick.
We think that the shaking might have been because my enormous dog came up and barked at the hamster and maybe it freaked him out so much it killed him? We don't really know. Has your hamster had a big scare recently? THat might cause the shaking somehow.
I did a little check on hamster health and it sounds like your hamster might have a cold. Here is what the website had to say:
Hamsters can suffer colds and are able to catch colds and flu from humans. Therefore if you have a cold or flu you should keep handling of your hamster to a mimum until you are recovered to avoid spreading your cold to the hamster. Hamsters can also catch a cold if the cage is exposed to draughts or are bathed.
Signs that a hamster has a cold are normally sneezing and runny nose. In more severe cases the hamster may have runny eyes, lethargy, weight loss, refusal to eat and drink or laboured breathing/wheeziness.
If the hamster exhibits signs of sneezing and running nose only and it continues to eat and drink and is active it should be kept in a warm room (not hot) of constant temperature and away from draughts. Some extra paper bedding should be placed in the cage and the hamster should recover within a couple of days. If the hamster does not recover after a couple of days or worsens veterinary advice should be sought as antibiotic treatment may be required.
If the hamster exhibits any signs of a severe cold (runny eyes, lethargy, weight loss, refusal to eat/drink or laboured breathing/wheeziness) veterinary advice should be sought immediately as antibiotic treatment is likely to be needed and failure to treat quickly could lead to bronchitis or pneumonia from which the hamster may have trouble recovering.
Giving a mixture of lukewarm water, milk and honey will also help with the hamster's recovery.
Provided colds are treated early before severe symptoms occur the hamster should make a full recovery within a few days.

Your hamster might also have a lung infection so heres what they had to say about that:
A hamster may develop respiratory problems due to an allergy, cold, bronchitis or pneumonia, or lung infection.
A lung infection can cause the hamster to shiver and wheeze and the hamster may also chatter its teeth and show signs of weight loss.
The hamster should be taken to a vet immediately to receive antibiotic treatment. Early treatment is vital to ensure recovery.

ok, ive been together with my boyfriend,drew, for 14 months. its been great. this one girl tree that drew used to like has always been in the way. they are always talking n shit and drews friends used to tell me that he still likes her and shit. so id get jealous off and on. well tonight he tells me how he stayed online until 5am talking to tree. well i said how come u dont stay up with me. he could tell that i was jealous and he said why cant u accept that im best friends with her? i replied how can u be best friends? u never hang out. i doubt she looks at u as a best friend. well that was rude of me and he got all mad. he looks at me and says "There is something i have to tell you" and he tells me that tree told him a long time ago that she likes him. i knew it all along. should i be mad that he kept that from me for months and months when i knew it all along ? Ya wow thats a terrible name. What the hell were her parents thinking. Anyways, he didn't say he likes this girl back - he just said she likes him. You should ask him if he has any feelings towards Tree as more than friends and see what he has to say. If he honestly just wants to be friends with this girl, then theres really no reason to be mad. But you should warn him that eventually, shes going to try and make a move on him. If he does have feelings for her well then I'd be mad.

the non-asshole thing seems to work pretty well.
When I was 14 (I liked boys, boys didnt like me though, hey look they still dont.) I liked boys who weren't mean to me. Generally, its a good idea to be nice to people and they will like you more. More specifically, girls at 14 are probably interested in your looks, but they'll grow out of that. They also like guys who play hard to get because well, I dont know, that just seemed to be how it was when I was 14.

Its not uncommon to have stretch marks if you grew too quickly for your skin to catch up. If you want to reduce the appearance of the scarring/stretch marks then I suggest getting Vitamin E lotion and applying it to the scars. It should help them go away.

Why don't YOU make the first move and ask him if he wants to 'hook up'. He's probably too shy to ask you or let you know that he likes you, so its up to you to make something happen if you really like him.

me and my BEST FRIEND EVER went to pre-school together and thats how we met. we go to different schools, different dance places, and just about everything else diff except for our moms work together. we were born 2 days apart (mine december 18th and hers december 20th) and if we were standing next to each other u would think shes my little sister. im a head taller than she is. in the summer we do a lot of stuff together bc we used to belong to the same swimming club... but she moved so now she goes somewhere closer to her house. when we get together we have a such good times. i just feel that were growing apart though in some ways. shes inviting me over less and stuff idk what to do should i just hang out with her more or just dont worry about it? You should call her randomly and ask her to do something. If she is important to you (which you've made it clear she is) then you can't just let yourselves grow apart. If she doesn't invite you over, invite her over. You have a lot of fun together so why would you risk losing that? Call her.

How can my cousin and I get this boy at a campsite to notice us? We're around the ages of 14*1/2 - 15...we are NOT SLUTTY...we are interested in just being ourselves...and we can be outgoing sometimes...but we aren't type of girls to just come out and talk to a guy. It's hard for us...last time at the campsite we sat around and watched this boy skateboard...
He seemed very sweet at times but he never approached us or anything...I think he liked the fact that him and his friend had an audience...

Grab a skateboard and then fall off it. See if he asks you if you want help. Maybe he can give you some pointers?
If you aren't willing to make an ass of yourself and fall off a skateboard, well then, give him some glances and smile at him. Try to tone down any creepy smiles, that tends to frighten boys away. He might walk right up to you and start talking.
He might be shy also though, so if neither of you are willing to make some sort of move, well, ya, then I don't know throw a rock at him and hope for the best.

I'd like to say follow the directions on the box. But, I guess you aren't making one from a box, or else, you wouldn't really need instructions now would you.
To make an angel food cake:
1 1/4 cups cake flour
1 3/4 cups white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups egg whites
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks, and then add cream of tartar, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
2 Sift together flour, sugar, and salt. Repeat five times.
3 Gently combine the egg whites with the dry ingredients, and then pour into an ungreased 10 inch tube pan.
4 Place cake pan in a cold oven. Turn the oven on; set it to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Cook for about one hour, or until cake is golden brown.
5 Invert cake, and allow it to cool in the pan. When thoroughly cooled, remove from pan.

Yea they most likely wont take 14 year olds at places such as those. But, they may take you as a shopping cart person, or as another small job like that. Thing is, the only way to know for sure is to go in, ask for the manager and ask how young they hire.
You definitely won't be allowed to work at the bank.

Okay, I'm 14 and I have a boyfriend that I've only been with for like around a month. But when I'm around him I don't really feel comfortable with him anymore and a few days ago he tried to get me to smoke with him by saying if you loved me you would... and i was really mad cuz im not big on drugs. If that were me - I'd probably kick the living crap out of him. It doesn't really matter if he 'likes you a lot' because the guy is a loser. Feeling uncomfortable with him should have been the first sign to break up with him. Him pressuring you to do anything is grounds for an ass kicking, or at least dumping him. If you stay with him I can pretty much guarantee those 'If you love me you will' statements are going to continue, but they will be worse. Suddenly its going to be "If you love me you'll have sex with me" and crap such as that. Consider yourself lucky if you get yourself out of the relationship now before its too late and you can't get yourself out.

ok well my hair isnt curly but its wavy and frizzy and juss like i hate it...i straighten it with a straightener and ive tryed like 3 diff kinds...and they get it soo silky but it never stays straight and the ends curled in and it juss pised me off...so i started ironing it...it works gr8 (yea a clothes iron on an ironing board)...it stays straight all day and is pretty straight when i wake up!! after i shower it gets ugly again and its jsus a hassle ironging and straightening ur hair eryday!! wat can i do?? r ther ne like straighting conditioner/shampoo that will help? ne good straighteners...i really dont wanna iron it it kills it!! HELP (Indeed)

I'd stop using the iron, its destroying your hair. Each time you use the iron, your hair will be frizzier after a shower than the last time. Each time it gets worse. All straighteners destroy your hair, but the iron is the worse. Try doing a hot oil treatment on your hair. You can buy V05 Hot Oil treatments for about 10$, but if you aren't willing to spend that on hot oil, then just ask your mom or a friend to help you and use vegetable oil from your house instead. Pour some in a cup and place the cup in a coffee mug 3/4 filled with steamy hot water. Wait for the oil to get very warm (but not extrmely hot, because you'll burn your head) and then put the oil in your hair. Leave it in for a while and then wash it out with your regular shampoo.
Doing this every once and a while will help your frizzyness situation.
As for straighteners - the best straightener is the CHI, here in Canada it sells for a good 300$ though. A good idea would be to pick up a ceramic straightener, it'll say ceramic right on the box.

Go to sleep and in the morning, if you're still having pain, then he might have done some damage. And then give yourself some time to heal before doing it again. Maybe keep things a bit less rough next time for your own safety.

If they both like each other, chances are you wont be able to stop them from going out. But let your friend know that a) it bothers you, b) you're afraid your friendship is going to weaken c) you might feel left out and d) you are feeling jealous about the situation.
If she truly is your best friend then she'll make the effort to understand and to change the situation for the better. It can work both ways, her being your best friend and your best friend dating your brother. It will not be easy though and you might have to settle for being left out once and a while, which probably might suck.

How about complementing her clothes when she isnt around. When she wears something that most people wouldnt consider 'stylish', then just start talking about how cool you think that is or how trendy it is. Make it seem like shes a trendsetter or at least just say positive things about her. If you hear someone making fun of her then simply tell them that their attitude is sickening and that you don't really want to around people who are so pathetic. Most likely, they are going to feel guilty.
People should start to realize that clothes dont make a person, nothing physical makes a person - its a persons ideas and thoughts and heart that make a person who they are. Value doesnt have a 'look'.

If you really think this guy is worth it (which he probably is considering you keep falling for him even when you think you like someone else)then go for it, say something to him. Even an instant message is enough, just strike up some conversation. I wouldn't recommend just out of no where expresssing how much you care about him if you dont regularly talk to him. So, to start, just casually talk to him. Get some conversation going with the guy. After you've talked to him and you still feel the same way about him, let him know you care about him. If you dont, you may never know what might have been right? Just make sure you get to know him before you start telling him how you feel.
Dont ever think you aren't good enough for someone, because that just isnt true. Anyone that wont take you for who you are doesnt deserve to have you anyhow. So if he thinks hes 'too good' well then he can just get lost because then hes the one who isnt good enough. Remember to be confident in yourself.
