there is this girl whos is really really really nice but some of my friends make fun of her b/c she can't afford new clothes i want to make her have really cool clothes but the problem is i don't have any money to get her new clothes how can i make her look stylish w/ out usin alot of money??

the thing is that looking good doesnt mean you have to spend a million dollars! I would probably suggest inviting her over and like if you were willing to, let her borrow some of your clothes. You could do her hair and/ or makeup.....just a suggestion.

First of all, your friends are pretty mean to do that. Its rude and some people are on a budget! Anyway, I think it's perfectly fine to go to a resale shop if your on a fight budget and want cute clothes. Probably not the Good Will, but a store with Teen Clothes. I know in Ohio there is a place called Plato's Closet that sells Abercrombie shirts for 6 dollers!! Just wash them and, hey! There ya go! <3 Steph

If your friends are low enough to make fun of someone because of what they wear than who cares about them? That is totally immature. Its an age thing..they will get over it. As for you trying to help her look stylish, i suggest maybe takin a trip to a vintage store. Those are a mega trend right now and you can get a ton of great clothes for cheap. You can even help her spice up her old clothing.

People shouldn't make fun of your friend just because she doesn't have a lot of clothes. You should try sticking up for her and compliment her on her clothes so she feels better. Try going to her house and putting different clothes together for her. Or you can always try making clothes also. Or if you want, you guys can share clothes. Or try having a garage sale, a car wash in your neighborhood, things like that. That'll make her feel so much better. And you seem like a great friend for trying to help her out! =D

How about complementing her clothes when she isnt around. When she wears something that most people wouldnt consider 'stylish', then just start talking about how cool you think that is or how trendy it is. Make it seem like shes a trendsetter or at least just say positive things about her. If you hear someone making fun of her then simply tell them that their attitude is sickening and that you don't really want to around people who are so pathetic. Most likely, they are going to feel guilty.
People should start to realize that clothes dont make a person, nothing physical makes a person - its a persons ideas and thoughts and heart that make a person who they are. Value doesnt have a 'look'.

Thas so mean making fun of someone because of how the dress and because there less fortunate than them. They are very shallow for that. You need to definetly stick up for her and stock by her side. Tell your friends dont be F***ing a**holes. Try finding a way to earn money and go to stores/shops where clothes arnt so expensive... I go buy clothes w/ her when there are sales and stuff because its just plain cheaper. You should talk to her about it before you go buy her stuff... You 2 should go shopping together and tell her its your treat and get her some stuff ( go on sales ) Try doing some kool stuff to her clothes like doing diffrent new designs to them you could ask someone who knows how to sew and stuff to help you. You should tell your friends to shut their mouths and open their eyes and try to accept her for the remarkable person she is. If for some reason you don't have enough balls to stick up for this girl, and you still feel like you want to jazz up her style, try thrift stores - you can find some cute chic things there. It's cheap and extremely easy to mix and match.

Well....you could always ask your parents for shopping money...and tell them what is going on and let them know that the girl at your school is being madde fun by the way she dresses!! Then get clothes that are stylin'!!
You could also do a lemonade stand and raise money!! After that you can go shopping or you could also look in many magizines that are at the supermarket where they show clothes for low prices!! Hope everything works out and let me know what happens!!

Well this may sound totally stupid, but you could buy like rhinestones and stuff and just make her clothes all new looking... stupid but it'll make clothes look newer and more stylish type...
