August 5th will be my one year anniversary im so excited.. well i wanted to get him something and my mom gave me an idea but i wanted to know if people thhought it was corny or stupid.. well there is this store place near my house kinda called Build A Bear.. and i was going to make him a Monkey cause its his favorite animal and this i was going to get a San Antonio Spurs shirt or something and put it on it cause thats his favorite basketball team.. well i wanted to know does that sound childish and stupid.. or does it sound okay.. i just dont want to feel stupid givin it to him.. By the way he's 15 almost 16 and im 16 almost 17.. thanks in advance an if you think its stupid and childish give me some ideas on what to get him THANKS!!

no not at all, i got my boyfriend of a year and a half a bear and put a shirt on it from where i was on vacation:) he loved it! and, obviously, we are still together, and going strong! this was before our one year. :)

sometimes i get real frustrated with my b/f. and i start to hit and throw things i feel that if i dont get my anger under control that i will hurt him one day and it will jeopardize our relationship. how can i get my anger under control?

maybe a councler? or tell your boyfriend when you feel like you are going to get mad, then have something that you can do when you know you are going to get mad, like kick a soccer ball or shoot some hoops. or scream into a pillow,ect.

Today the discharge in my underwear had a yellowish brown tint to it. Some parts of it looked kinda red. This is the first time this has happened. Is this my period coming or should I worry. I don't want to go to the doctor *unless its really serious* because my family is really short of money right now. I'll rate 5's for any helpfull answer.

im 14/f...i feel like i sleep a LOT! like here's an average day: wake up around 10...take a nap from like 1 to 3 30...then get up and do whatever...then take another nap from like 5 to 6 30...then stay up until like 1 in the morning and go to bed and do it all over again the next day...is this normal or is there something wrong???

I think its because you go to sleep to late at night. If you go to bed around 9 or 10, you would wake up around 8 or 9. Then you should be good all day:)

but, it sounds to me like you are doing mighty fine keeping yourself with enough sleep!

I have a little brother who is 6 years old. His name is Denis. I love him and all, but.. he's a weirdo. He's overweight.. he's only 6 and hes 114 lbs. I dont know how to tell him he's overweight without hurting his feelings. It's kind of cute though.. I call him my little oompa loompa. Hehe. Well, please give me much advice. Thanks much!

About six months ago i met a guy called james and after seeing him once we had arleady hugged and the second time i could tell at the sleepover he tryed to lie next to me.. like if i moved nearer the TV he would follow which i found well cute and we went to sleep loking into others eyes.. just after seing each other twice! i loved him and he sed he fancied me and everything seemed perfect like we weremeant to be together and we kissed in spin the bottle and i was well happy. so when i was in Holland with my school hockey team i asked him out by phone. But the thing was i never saw him and like i only saw him once every two months so after a week he emailed me saying that it wasnt going to work and we should just be good friends and then wait a while when he isnt so busy and see what hapens. but a month later a girl hes been at school with for three years dumped her boyfriend to be with James , i was well upset buti acepted it and moved on, and ive had crishes and ive been flirting then before another party that we would both be at he text me sayin " are u gon to the party i am and i can play spin the bottle oz i broke up with Rosie see u der" and i was obviously well happy .. but iz he just falling back on me? at the party he was obviously flirting just not as much as he used to.. i dont know if this is because he is trying to be slow... he sed he ants to meet up with me but i dont know if he truley does like me or just wants to fall back and use me as im second best or something? im confused please help i rate very highly and im confused

maybe he is scared that you dont feel the same as he does. or maybe he is taking it slow because he doesnt want to mess anything up by moving too quickely.

I am going to be a freshman this year, and I have just started talking to this guy. Well, He is going to be a junoir and i know him from my sister--who is going to be a senior.
I have started having feelings for this guy. We talk alot online, and he is really sweet. But there are two problems. 1)He has a girlfriend 2)He still see's me as a kid.
Now both of those are really..hard. Because I think he see's me more of a little sister, then a friend. And it is so tough to deal with. Because I know i am not brave enough to tell him how I feel. And I know he doesnt feel the same. What should I do?

i really want a dog. but we're renting a house and the rules are you can only have one pet. and we already have a cat. i really want a dog but i love my cat and i dont want to give him up. what should i do?

well, will you be out of the rental soon? Maybe an aunt or uncle or grandparent, neighbor or friend can keep the dog for you until you are in a home where you can have both the dog and the cat. you could also, have a small area in the bastment to keep the dog, not like small small, but enough room for it to live. and keep it outside alot, but dont like be abusive, you know? let it eat and sleep inside, and be inside sometimes, and maybe you can alternate with the cat,wich animial sleeps in the bastment what day.

im only 13/f and i have had 3 boyfriends but never done anything more than hold hands and hug?? i havent even gotten my first kiss! is there some way i can get it soon or do i just have to wait?? i rate high!

well, if you had, then it wouldnt have been speical right? beacuse those guys are already gone. you may not want to hear this, but its what i think, and after all, thats what you asked to hear. (see)

I think that it is better to wait, until you are with someone who you like, the kiss will mean more and be more memorable. so will the "stuff" that you do. I persionally wouldnt do "stuff" unless i was in a long commited relationship with someone who i truly loved and trusted. I wouldnt do antyhing that i would be able to tell my parents.

just be careful out there, and make sure that you are with someone special before doing "stuff" and wait for your first kiss, isnt it better if you wait for it to come to you, when you dont expect it, and it be special, than you work and work and work for it, and then get dissapointed when it doesnt happen, or it happens the way that you totally didnt plan?

^great clothes, not too much. tj maxx and marshal fields, i know for sure have clothes like abercrombie, hollister, hurley, american egal,express, ect for wayy less.

make-up. light and simple.

some powder, a beidge or light pink eyeshadow, and some mascara. maybe a little eyeliner. Light lipgloss, maybe some shimmer. there are also sme tinted chap sticks, too. but dont make yourself look totaly different when you have on make=up verses when you dont. :)

hair, vary it. some days up, somedays down, somedays half up. maybe straightened somedays, somedays messy buns, somedays, nice, somedays maybe curley! :) things like that are awesome!

My bestfriend is 21. She is pregnant and does not want to keep the child because she cannot support it. She wants to have an abbortion. I have mixed feelings about it, but it's her life. I don't know how I can help her..because I'm still in highschool and don't have a job where I can lend her some money. But she's lent my cousin a LOT of money because he needed help, but he can't pay herback, for other reasons. I don't know how I can help her. And she can't tell her Mom because her Mom will kick her out of the house, and then she won't have any place to live & a child.

I'm scared for her.

i am pro-life(no abortion) the baby doesnt deserve to die because of a mistake. it isnt the babys fault. there are plenty of people out there who have tried and tried to have kids, but cant, and would love to adopt!! adoption is always the best because, then you wont wonder "what might have been" of that baby, and then when you feel that you are ready, or older, you can go and see the baby, who probably wont be a baby any more.

How do you tell if shortening is good or bad before you use it?

hey. hm, this may sound stupid, but you could call your local grocery store and ask them! or next time you are at the grocery store, ask the person in the bakery. I looked online, and I couldnt seem to find anything that answered the question!
