About six months ago i met a guy called james and after seeing him once we had arleady hugged and the second time i could tell at the sleepover he tryed to lie next to me.. like if i moved nearer the TV he would follow which i found well cute and we went to sleep loking into others eyes.. just after seing each other twice! i loved him and he sed he fancied me and everything seemed perfect like we weremeant to be together and we kissed in spin the bottle and i was well happy. so when i was in Holland with my school hockey team i asked him out by phone. But the thing was i never saw him and like i only saw him once every two months so after a week he emailed me saying that it wasnt going to work and we should just be good friends and then wait a while when he isnt so busy and see what hapens. but a month later a girl hes been at school with for three years dumped her boyfriend to be with James , i was well upset buti acepted it and moved on, and ive had crishes and ive been flirting then before another party that we would both be at he text me sayin " are u gon to the party i am and i can play spin the bottle oz i broke up with Rosie see u der" and i was obviously well happy .. but iz he just falling back on me? at the party he was obviously flirting just not as much as he used to.. i dont know if this is because he is trying to be slow... he sed he ants to meet up with me but i dont know if he truley does like me or just wants to fall back and use me as im second best or something? im confused please help i rate very highly and im confused

i understand where he's coming from. i've been in the same situation..maybe he is falling back on you yet..when he was going out with "rosie" he still really liked you and is now afraid that after he was with her you don't feel the same way about him. maybe you should hang out sometime before you rush into anything big again because even though you may really like him you don't want to rush things and ruin them..i'm sure he's just scared because him and his other girlfriend just got over a relationship and maybe he's afraid if he moves to fast he's going to lose something or someone he really loves. don't give up hope on him though. and don't think you're second best because i think you're far from it. follow your heart and everything will be okay. hope i helped.

maybe he is scared that you dont feel the same as he does. or maybe he is taking it slow because he doesnt want to mess anything up by moving too quickely.
