K2204 answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 12:10 pm: well, will you be out of the rental soon? Maybe an aunt or uncle or grandparent, neighbor or friend can keep the dog for you until you are in a home where you can have both the dog and the cat. you could also, have a small area in the bastment to keep the dog, not like small small, but enough room for it to live. and keep it outside alot, but dont like be abusive, you know? let it eat and sleep inside, and be inside sometimes, and maybe you can alternate with the cat, wich animial sleeps in the bastment what day.

Me_Help_You answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 11:50 am: What you could do is:
*WAit until your cat "Moves On"
*Give your cat to someone you trust so then you could still go and see it time to time.
*Set your cat up for adoption, but just remember: if you do this, your at is gone.
ncblondie answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 11:35 am: I know how you feel. The place I live in allows no pets and I had to leave my cats with my parents. Try volunteering at the local animal shelter. Many times shelters are severely understaffed so they don't have time to play with the animals. You volunteering will be a big help. Start a dog walking service. You can make money while you're enjoying being around dogs. Keep an eye on the newspaper for rentals that allow pets then show your parents if you find one. Mackenzie answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 11:34 am: Uhm, I would hope to death you would keep the cat!!!!!!!!! But what if you got rid of the cat for a dog, and the dog turned out to be a bad bastard.. you'd wish for the cat back. Animals are living things with personalities... they're truly one of a kind, such as people. If you get rid of this poor little kitty cat... then it's gone forever....... xoBrowneyes answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 11:04 am: Wiat until your cat dies or wait until you guys buy a house. There really isn't much that you can do. The only thing I can think of is ask your mom to talk to the head person to see if they might make an exception! Hope I Helped!
AskElyssa answered Tuesday July 19 2005, 11:02 am: Well I think that you should wait till you get a dog because cats and dogs don't get along and when your cat dieds you can get a dog so the will not fight or are your mom if your guys can move to a place that will let you have 2 pets or more
Hope I Helped You
