1 year anniversary!
August 5th will be my one year anniversary im so excited.. well i wanted to get him something and my mom gave me an idea but i wanted to know if people thhought it was corny or stupid.. well there is this store place near my house kinda called Build A Bear.. and i was going to make him a Monkey cause its his favorite animal and this i was going to get a San Antonio Spurs shirt or something and put it on it cause thats his favorite basketball team.. well i wanted to know does that sound childish and stupid.. or does it sound okay.. i just dont want to feel stupid givin it to him.. By the way he's 15 almost 16 and im 16 almost 17.. thanks in advance an if you think its stupid and childish give me some ideas on what to get him THANKS!!

I wouldn't worry about my present being stupid or childish. If he loves you then it wouldnt matter what you gave him he would like it anyway. As far as what everyone else thinks, who cares! You 2 are the ones in love. I say give it to him. Sounds like a great idea to me. I'm 22 and I would give something like that to my man.

no not at all, i got my boyfriend of a year and a half a bear and put a shirt on it from where i was on vacation:) he loved it! and, obviously, we are still together, and going strong! this was before our one year. :)

That's a really cute idea and I'm sure he'll love it. Especially since it's a 1 year anniversary. I personally would feel stupid doing it because that's the way I am. But that's a cool idea.

wow. thats a great idea. it has meaning to it and its more than just buying him something from walmart , ya know? another good idea would be to make like a memory book. like take a bunch of pictures or like things from dates you guys went on like if you keep movie tickets or something from a restaurant and put it in the book. hope i helped & i like to know if im giving good advice so feedback please :)

i dont think it's stupid, or childish, but i do think that because youre older than him- he MIGHT think that youre making fun of him by getting him a bear. no offense, in any way- because i think its a great idea- but guys dont really go for bears. im thinking you should buy him some curve cologne. i know it sounds too boring- but for real- it's the best cologne out there, and if this boy thinks anything about the way he smells- he will now. curve is awesome. i bought my ex a curve set, it had after shave, cologne, body wash, and a travel-size cologne for $28 at walgreens. and it was decent size. it was probably worth about $60. it was definetely a good deal.hope i helped.

Hey! I think it is such a cute idea! I think he will love it. I personaly would get him Maybe somthing else with it. I meen what if he gets you somthing really expensive. Like Jewlrey or somthing, then i would feel alittle dumb that i got him a monkey.I cant really think of what else you could get him but i would stick with the build a bear idea and maybe somthing else I think its cute. Thats so cute! You and your mom's idea is fine. If you want you should try to make him something special cuz its from your heart. No gift is ever stupid or childish. Put a lot of thought in his gift to show him how much you care about him. Get him anything that he likes and dont try to make it look too fancy. Make him a card or get a picture frame and put a cute picure of the both of you together. Make a cd of the songs that brings memories of the both of you. Theres tons of ideas out here. Dont worry I bet he'll love everything you do for him. Hope this helps!
