let her tell your mom. if there was anything i truly hated- it was everyone i know teling people i was pregnant before i got a chance to tell anyone. let her do that all on her on. all you can really do right now is be there for her, and support her in any way. i would also suggest making her take a pregnancy test, if she hasnt already- just to be sure. good luck.

honestly, i would pierce the side you most rarely put the phone up to when you talk. it sounds to me like youre a girl- and i know that girls talk on the phone like crazy. i also know that getting your cartalege pierced hurts worse than any other part of your ear becuase its so thick. i think piercing the side you never hold the phone up to would probably cause you less problems in the long run. hope i helped!
How bad is weed for you?
I smoke like.. maybe once every 2 months.. sometimes from a pipe.. and sometimes from a can.. how bad is this for you? I dont even think I get high when I do it though.. How do you know when youre high?
if you dont think you get high when you do it- then tell me why the heck do you do it? it sounds to me like its a 'coolness' thing. i think its horrible for you, and if you ever do get addicted to it- its a real hard thing to lose.
okay. So I recently started shaving my crotch area. But now it like .. hurts when I have to go to the bathroom. Do I have like an STD or is from shaving? Because I know that area can get infected easily. God, I'm so scared. I really hope I don't have an STD.
well, the whole point of having hair in that area is to block out germs, and bacteria that may try entering. it might be becuase you shaved- but then at the same time- it sounds to me like its too illogical for that to happen. it sounds like something else. i couldnt tell you what- but i dont think its becuase you shaved.
about 3 weeks ago, i became sexually active for the first time. i haven't gotton my period yet. I've been stressed, but my breasts hurt, i feel sick to my stomach no matter what, and my back hurts. It could be the weather (with my back) but I think i could be prego. I took the home test and it was negative, but i still don't have my period. I know having sex can cause irregular periods, but should i see a doctor? or something? i don't want my parents to know...but any answers would be appreciated.
well, i know for a fact that having sex doesnt cause you to have irregular periods. any strenuous excercise can, but not having sex. i think you need to just continue to wait it out. no need to go see a doctor if its a false alarm. i know youre worried, and youll continue to be until you know for sure- id say wait it out one more week or so- you wont know until then,or after then anyways. then get a test, and you should know for sure. good luck.
When I stand up from sitting or laying down, I get really light-headed, dizzy, and everything goes completely white for like 15 seconds. It's almost like temporary blindness. I've talked to various doctors about it, and they tell me the same thing, "stand up slowly." I tried that, but it still doesn't work. I can't see another doctor because we are reall ylow on money, so does anybody have any advice?
the same thing happenes to me on occasion- and it sucks- it feels like youre gonig to pass out. ive always been told to stay sitting for a second before you stand up, and do it slowly. it works for me, although alot of the time i forget, and 'black out' again. but try it. it might help.good luck!
i dont want to tell my doctor im sexualy active but i want birth control. i think im going to tell him my period has been going on for 15 days for the last times i had it and that i normally only get it for 5 days. or if i DO tell him i am sexualy active will he tell my mom or is it between me and him?
it will be directly between you and him. although- i dont think the birth control thing will bebetween you both. becuase your mom will haveto get the precscription filled. but no, do NOT tell him your period has been gonig on longer than usual- becuase then he might get into something serious and prescribe somthing totally unneeded for you, and send you to a gyno, and what not. in other words- BAD IDEA! good luck, and be careful!

well, id say most like it, definetely. but sometimes, i HATE to be looked at. i think its more of an insecurity thing on my part, but as long as youre not staring the girl down- it will mean a lot to her. it shows her that you are very straight forward, and tht there is nothing else on your mind at that moment than talking to her. good luck, hon.
I am taking a road trip on Saturday 7/1, driving from Rochester, NY to Virginia Beach, VA.
I have heard that there has been heavy rain causing flooding en-route and through PA.
I have also heard that there are roads being closed.
Is there truth to this, and if so is it possible for me to drive? Is it just local roads that are closed?

i wouldnt take a risk. the whole northeastern shore got hit with major water. my grampa travels for a living. he is currently in maryland, and he said that all the surrounding states are completely covered in water, stretching all the way down to virginia. i wouldnt take that risk. maybe you could reschedule the trip for next week. im guessing that conditions should be at least a little bit better by then.

any place that accepts work permits. you just have to ask around- before filling out an application. then you need to get hired by the business, and they will tell you you have a certain time to get a work permit by.
So, I was talking with this guy and I'm 15 and he's 16. We were planning on doing it because, I thought, we were basiclly dating. Today, I found out he had a myspace and apparently he has a girlfriend he never told me about or mentioned. I saw the comments she left him saying how much she loves him and then his replys and they were from today. I know this means he's basiclly an ass and I shouldn't be with him or care for him anymore but I really hurt. Should I just not answer his calls and have nothing to do with him anymore or should I confront him or what should I do? Should I tell his girlfriend that he was planning on having sex with me? (I've never talked to her before) Someone please help me before I lose my mind.
i would definetely tell his girlfriend. i mean, jsut think- if things were the other way around- wouldnt you want to know that your boyfriend was planning on being with another woman? and of course, stop talknig to him- hes a jerk, and you deserve so much better than that. hes only after one thing.
I was at cheerleading practice yesterday and I must have turned my neck the wrong way to fast cause it popped and started burning. It went away for a minute, then I got this excrusiating pain in my neck. I can't turn it to the right, or lean it back, and if I'm laying down I have to use my hand to pull my neck up when I want to stand up. Has this happened to anyone before, and how long will it last? thanks =]
it sounds as if you got a crook in your neck. ive had them before- mostly from sleeping the wrong way. the last onei had lasted 2, maybe 3 days- but ive had them before to last close to a week. jsut keep it either iced, or heated- whichever you feel comfortable with. but , as much as it hurts- keep trying to move it every once in a while, to keep it from going completely stiff. hope i helped!
Ok, so every time my cell phone rings, and its any where near my cable modem, the signal gets interupted, and I get booted off the internet. Also, the speakers make a funky sound. Does anyone else have problems with this? And is it something that could just be wrong with my modem, because its still under warranty (I think).
Its a motorolla ROKR and a SURFBoard modem if that matters.
well, i cant really answer for your getting booted off the internet- but i know that mostly anyone can relate to the noise it makes on the speakers. the same happes when the phone is close to a stereo, or radio- and sometimes- when we're on a family vacation- it piks up on the car speakers in our van, as well. its jsut n interference with the waves that the phone is on, and the waves the computer/stereo/car radio is on.
i heard something about like when either your like right eye/eyebrow twiches, it means good luck will happen and if your left eye/eyebrow twiches it means bad luck.. does anyone no if this is true or not?
ive never heard of that one- but it depends on what you beleive. i, personally believe in certain superstitions- but i dont think id believe in that one. no offense- its just like i said, a matter of opinion.
Ok so at the moment I am in hawaii at my aunts house and the place is INVESTED with roaches. usually i wouldnt mind them, but yesterday they were all over my bed and it was gross. we dont have time for an exterminator and wouldnt want one because of a price...so does anyone know any homemade tricks on how to trap roaches? i heard theres one trick about peanut butter and a jar but im not sure...
well,i dont know any home remedies for roaches- but what i do know is that they lay eggs almost constantly. so, even if you were to trap the roaches that you see are visible- chances are- there are egg sacs laying around the house as well, that are just waiting to hatch. i think that getting anexterminator is really your only option. hope i helped!
Ok,I'm 18/F and the other day I caught my brother he's 16 dressed in my clothes,I mean everything bra,panties,mini-skirt the works when he saw me he started crying,,,,too make a long story short he told me he has been wearing my clothes for a while and that he wants to be a girl. wow. the only thing you can really do is jsuts acept the fact that hes different. and give in to what it is that he wants to be, or do. yes, it might be weird but he sees you as a person that can show him things, and he obviously looks up to you for some reason. show him that its oka to look up to you- no matter how werid the situation is.

I really hate my hair. It's thick, curly, and hard to do anything with. I was straightening my hair (I always do but it seems not to do anything) and I always but the top (thick) layer up in a pony tail and straighten the bottom layer (thin) then switch it around when I'm done. So, when I was straightening the bottom layer and I just love it, it's so straight and thin and I love it. But then I do the top layer and it's all..blah! I seriously hate the top layer and love the bottom layer. How can I get my whole head to be like the bottom layer without spending a lot of money? I kinda also want blonde highlights. I have really dark brown hair. So how can I get my hair like the bottom layer? (Sorry the highlights were totally out of subject)
you can go to a haircutting salon and ask them to 'thin out' the top laer- they will know exactly what your talking about. they will use a razor type tool to cut the hair on top so it will look thinner and feel thinner too.
My friend is really selfish. I mean, she's my best friend but she's so damn selfish. Like, when I go to her house, she eats stuff right in front of me. She never asks if I want anything. And she doesn't let me play her Nintendo DS. She's really spoiled too. It annoys me so much because she has all these things that my mom would never get me.
