When you first begin having your period it takes some time for your body to get adjusted to everything. Normally, for a while it wont come on the same day every month, but as time passes it will start to be more regular.

I have never gone tanning and I'm kind of confused. I'm not really comftrable with people seeing my body and such, so how is it like?? Is each tanning bed in one room or all together? Do I use lotion? Any tips. Thanks a lot. I have gone mystic tanning but I can't go now. (link)

Tanning beds are normally each in a room by theirselves. There would be no one to see you take your clothes off.
You don't have to use lotion, but for a quicker more effective tan it is recommended.
Tanning stickers are very useful in keeping track of how dark you have gotten. And dont try to lay for to long your firts few times or you will just end up burned and peeling. If you have never been I would suggest laying only about 10 minutes for your first visit and slowly increasing it each time after that until you are laying for the full amount of time.

My best friend is becoming one of those 'I dont care' people. She says that she doesn't care about school, her friends, her family, her life, her anything. And. I dont know what the hell to say to that kind of attitude. She can be obnoxious and she's very rude sometimes. We've been best friends for four years now. Two years ago her parents got divorced; one of the nastiest things ever. She's been off her rocker since, doing drugs and getting drunk - but occasionally, not obsessivley. She has no respect for her family. And I dont know what I'm supposed to do at all, should I even care? She certainly doesn't give a crap about anything.
I tried to help, a lot, but all she says is that its going through one ear and out the other and that it doesn't matter what I say because she knows she can change but she wont. I know most people have been through rough times and know that the ability to change is in their ability, but thats not a way to live. She doesn't even see the point of life - which goes back to religion, and if you're going to make some ignorant comment about that then I'm telling you now that I dont give a shit about your opinion about that because I'm not here to discuss whether this has to do with religion or not.

Although it may seem like your efforts are hopeless,if you really care about your friend you will keep at it. The ocassional drug use and drinking can only get worse over time and come to the point of threatening her life. She may not want to listen to you right now, but if you just keep at it hopefully she will start to come around. Be support of her and dont try to act like a nagging parent. Even if she isnt acting like it right now, Im sure somewhere inside she is wanting some help. Dont give up on her when she needs you most.

Some people prefer homeschool, but just because you are being taught at home doesnt mean you will have alot more free time then you would going to public school. It could possibly make it even harder to find time to be with friends. If you are really that interested in it I would suggest maybe doing a trial run for a few weeks before totally jumping into it. Once you have tried it you may prefer your public school situation after all.

Pimples are kinda hard to get rid of overnight. The most I can think of to do on such a short notice would be to pop it and cover it with some concealer and makeup before school tomorrow. Maybe it wont be so noticable and no one will say anything about it...

ok. my friend is making me so mad. she lost her cheereleading uniform and since the last place she was at was at my house, she keeps saying she left it here. so i looked and looked all over the place and it WASNT here and i never saw it ever. so like every couple days she blows up and starts these BIG fights all about her uniform. its so annoying because i seriously DONT have her uniform. what do i do?! Aa bad as you probably dont want to with her blowing up on you all the time, I would suggest helping her back track and search some other places. Onces she locates her uniform she's sure to come around and apologize....

I want to get my nails done, but my parents this its a waste of money. So I want to do it myself I want to do french tips and I was wonderin how I should do it. How should I do the tips cuz I can never make it even? Do you think it would look ugly if I did two different colors on one nail like half one color and the other half another? (link)

I did my own french tips for prom one year in high school and it was easy. I put a base coat on first then used a piece of tape on each nail to mark off a straight line. then i painted the tips , removed the tape and put a clear coat on.
Different colors would look awesome I think! Go for it!

hey is size 8 really big for jeans..cause am 124 pounds and i keep lookin at my thighs and think they are fat .but for some people 124 pouds .they look slim.and i think look really fat in my thighs.and i have very little body fat.so is 124 pounds fat .and its not like i have eating disorders.i just want to know. I have this friend. We are like best of friends and we chill every other day or talk on the fone.
okay and she used to be friends with J. J and her used to be like how we are now. Js kind of a whore like meeting internet ppl, making out with strangers, flashing ppl and dressing like one. So we both hate J and my friend hangs out with her everytime shes pissed at me or just to get her to stop calling her. Now shes been with her for 3 damn days in a row. So I called her and she wont answer and its making me mad.

Sounds to me like your friend is 2-faced. If you two talk about the other girl like that its almost a promise that they talk about you the same way. I would move on and get a new friend....

Me and my bf have gone out for 6 yrs.
Well one day I started to get tired of seeing him 24/7
So I told him that and I think he thought we were breaking up.
I only wanted alittle alone time
A week later I saw him with another girl
and I asked him what was going on
but he told me we broke up so he moved on.

Sounds to me that if he can move in in a week after being with you for 6 years then he never really cared for you anyway. However, a sure fire way to get him stirred up is to grab a guy and flaunt it in front of him. Most of the time it will send them crawling back. You see, guys look at it like this.... they want to do what they want,but they want you to sit at home and cry over them. When they see you arent doing that then normally their true feelings will come flooding out.

well my ex boyfriends birthday is coming up and we decided we were gonna spend the day together after school or the following day together! weve been broken up for almost 7 months now! ya i know a really long time! but through it all weve been like best of friends and we talk all the time! and weve hung out twice this summer! well he does tell me he knows we both want to be together but it wont work right now because he is dating another girl but they arent going out cause she cant have a boyfriend! and even after being broke up hes like i love u and i always will! and just last night he said he missed us! and i still really care about him! but anyways for his bday i wanna do something really cute! i was already thinking about making him a cake and decorating it all cute and getting him a card! but i was trying to think of something else special i could do to show him how much i care! any ideas? thanks so much! The cake and the card sound wonderful! For an additional special treat you could get him a little stuffed animal and attach a poem of how you feelabout him to it. Or you could, plan a day out together like going to a park for a picnic or even just playing on the kiddie toys together. It's sounds childish but it will give you all a way to laugh and have a good time you will always remember. My bo and I like to go fishing together. We like to make fun of each others reactions when hooking a fish.

Something as common as Sun In can be found at just about any drugstore, Walmart or Kmart. in fact, I believe I have seen it on the shelves of the Dollar General and Family Dollar before.

Is it safe to wear a tampon to sleep in? I'll probably sleep around 9 hours tonight .. I'm just not sure if that's safe (TSS). If I wear a pad, it usually leaks and gets on my shorts im wearing to bed. What should I do? (link)

Yes, it is perfectly safe to sleep with a tampon in. In fact, they now make overnights for that purpose. I do recommend that you try to wake up at least once in the night to change it however.

Okay, I'm ususally the one giving the advice, not asking for it, but here goes...
School's going to be starting up again soon which means that the Homecoming activities will be coming up before too long. I was thinking about getting my nails done before the dance. I've never had my nails done before, so this is all new to me. What I want are those arcrylic nails that they don't paint on. I don't know if you know what I'm talking about or not... but they look like real nails, but they're fake. And I don't want the people at the nail salon to paint them either, because the dress I'm going to wear is black and white. I just need to know what this is called so I don't waste my money on something that isn't the right thing. (link)

I have the children and am 23 years old. After having my 3rd and final baby two months ago Ive been a reck. I know that postpartum depression happens but didnt have it with my other children.
Im always crying or hollering over the smallest things and getting really bad headaches.
I get all depressed from being cooped up in the house with the kids and am constantly hollering at my husband for stuff he didnt even do. Sometimes I feel like im just looking for a reason to pick a fight with him.

Oh honey, I know exactly what you are going through. I have to children of my own and I am the same way. I mostly think it comes from the stress of running and caring for the children. I, myself, will keep a constant headache until I get out and away from my 2 little ones for a while and it will then go away until I return. I pick fights with my bo as well, I think only because it gives you someone to get your frustration out on. I would recommend finding a hobby that is soothing to yourself and also getting some ME time if only for a few minutes.Pamper yourself a bit, it will make ya feel better. I know you want it to be a really great poem for your guy, but I would suggest you give it to him just the way it is. You dont want strangers giving you advice on how to make it any better because they dont feel what you feel towards the guy. It will be the best it can be just the way it is.
