Hey! My name is Peyton and I am 14 years old! This is my first advice column so I will try my best to answer all of your questions!advice
alright. this will be long.
me and my boyfriend have known eachother since kindergarden. we went out in sixth grade, and broke up after 4 months of seeing eachother.
i am in love with him, and he knows it, because we have been going out again since the 2nd. last night he told me he loved me as well.
my parents do not approve of him though. i think it is because my mom thinks he lies to me (which he doesnt) and my dad never liked any boy i went out with (because that's just how dads are) my sister doesnt like him, either, and i dont know why she doesnt.
how can i get my family to approve of him?
Maybe invite him over to dinner one night just to let your parents get to know the real him. Explain to your mom that he doesn't lie and that he never has (even if he has) and that you like him a lot. I know how dads can be but just ask your sister why she doesn't like him, talk to her about it. I hope that helped!

this is for my bff, im trying to help him through this...14/m. well my gf & i have been together for almost 6 months. we rarely see each other because we are so busy & when we do, she ignores me or hangs out with everyone but me even if its my party. she doesnt hug me a whole lot either & we've never kissed. i was away from her & during that time i saw & hung out with my gal pal that i hadnt seen in about a year. she likes me a lot & she does more things than my gf does (she hugs me, thats it!) & gives me attention & really cares about me so i got to like her as more than a friend now. i was planning on breaking up with my gf but after i saw her again yesterday, i fell in love with her all over again. i had loved this girl for several years & this was my chance but then she doesnt treat me right & there are other girls out there who really do care about me. what should i do? my gf i have loved for a long time & the girl that likes me gave me a heart that can be easily broken.
*info on the ladies: the gf is a bit of a tease & needs the attitude adjustment thats long over-due but she can be ok at times.
the other girl is a lot like a gf the guy had that ended up being a huge mistake...shes a bit older, more experienced & she knows he's vunerable. she also likes almost every guy i can think of.
*parents view: mom used to be FOR the breaking up but since the other girl showed up (which she doesnt want him to get involved with) she wants them to stay together.
dad doesnt want him to do anything until school starts so no one knows why he broke up with his gf.
*the bffs view: the other girl isnt my favorite (i agree with the parents) & i dont want to be responsible for the break up...i got them together & i didnt know it would end up like this. the gf was my friend but now not only does he treat him like crap but shes mean to me too.
*PLEASE, ANYTHING WILL HELP! WE REALLY NEED YOU!*

Ok, I think that you should give your g/f another try and see if she is worth is compared to your girl thats a friend. If you see that you don't love her then hang out with the girl thats a friend more and see if a spark flies! If you do love your g/f as much as you say you do then stay friends with the gal pal and still have your g/f. I don't now if thats the answer that you were looking for but I tried! Hope I helped!!
I know i give advice but this time i need help. i am 11 and i weigh 64 pounds and people at my school call me anorexic.. i am deff not! its so funny cause i win eating contests at my summer camp i go to! and to make it all worse i just got my braces and i dont know if you had them but for about a week its hard to chew and for me to swallow so i didnt really eat and at school for lunch people wud be like LOOK SHE ISNT EATING and they wud pressure me into eating even though i couldnt, i dont know what to do! I will Rate HIGH if you give me adivce plesase dont delte this its urgent!
Maybe the kids at school are just jealous of how skinny you are. If you still can't really eat then when the kids say "look she isn't eating" then explain to them that you can't. Just because they call you anorexic, you know and your family knows that you aren't and that is all that matters! Hope I helped!!
well my boyfriend is really nice. I just met him and hes really interesting and we really click. Except he seems a little too nice. Hes always telling me that he loves me and that im hot and pretty ALL the time! Then he asked me if I ever made out with anyone. I said no and he said, "oh who do u plan on making out with for the first time?" But still he really loves me and he is so nice.

I don't think that you can call it "using you" Maybe it was just a simple question he asked. If he has asked it more then one time then say "I'm not sure who the first person will be" and move on. Apparently, he really likes you. Hope I helped!!
I was on the 7th and 8th grade basketball team for middle school and I got alot of playing time but I dont think Im that good. I dont thin i should tri-out for high School my school is really into basketball and i just want to have fun. I like basketball but i dont thin its my sport i think volleyball is. I dont kno if i should do both or just vollball? what should i do
Which sport do you like better? VolleyBall or Basketball? It's all about having fun!! It doesn't matter if the school is really into that sport, you are supposed to have fun either way (winning is just a bonus)! So if you like Volleyball, play volleyball. But if you like Basketball, then play basketball!! And besides, if you get a lot of playing time, you are probably better then you thought! Hope I helped!!
not exactly sure where this goes but i have a i guess you could say anger mangement problem...my mom and brother think when i get pissed that im always pmsin and i don't no what it is but i don't feel comfy tlking about my period..why is it that everytime the subject comes up i just make excuses?

Maybe it's because you are just afraid to talk about it infront of your family. Thats normal. Nobody is completly comfy with talking about it around family. Hope I helped!!!

If you can drive then go somewhere. If you can't drive then watch tv or ask your parents to take you somewhere. If you don't have any money and can't drive then call some people and ask them if they can come over or clean your room or closet. I hope I helped!!
