Besides being totally immoral, it's against the law. It's called statutory rape. The 18 year old is considered an adult, while the 13 year old is still a child. Even if you both are willing to be together, the law considers the 13 year old too young to make responsible decisions. If this is a personal question that is happening to you, think about this: Why is a 18 year old considering going out with a 13 year old? Why can't this person be with someone closer to his/her age?

well i myslef live in Florida and yes you can get in trouble...but you can do it in private .but if your mom knows and she doesnt like this boy she can get him put in jail.

Well.. i dont know about in Florida..but here in Illinois.. is pretty much against the law. MY best friend got into trouble for dating an 18 year old when she was 15.
So to answer your question... YES! An 18 can actually be sent to Jail if he/she has sexual contact of ANY kind with the 13 year old. I'm pretty sure it includes kissing and stuff like that too. (it does here at least!)

You cant really get in trouble for dating. But you most definatley can get in trouble for having sex. Since you are not the age of consent, which is 16, then your parents must have given legal consent for you to have sex. I doubt they will give consent for their 13 year old child to have sex at your age, let alone with an 18 year old. But if by chance they would consent and give permission, then you would not be able to charge the 18 year old with statutory rape but with corruption of a minor. However if your parent will not consent they can take the 18 year old for both statutory rape and corruption of a minor. I hope this helps. I'm pretty sure if there is any type of sexual contact it is illegal. I'm not sure if that includes kissing, though. You should ask the other person's (assuming your the 18 year old) parents if it's ok.

Here in Canada, yes. you CAN get into trouble if you're dating a 13 year old.
Actually, i know of this guy who is OUT of highschool [graduated] so he's like 18, maybe 19.. and he was dating this girl who was going into grade 9.. she was 13.. her parents found out, and told him they'd contact the police if he continued to see her.
Of course, there are many married couples who are years apart, but they're also OLDER. A 18 year old with a 13 year old, in my opinion is just wrongggg.
