hi i have a friend that is WAyy to prideful of her backround. she like, bases her life on it. il use an example, say if she were spanish, shed make a sn that would be like spanishbaby or cutie spanishgirl and she has nicknames, real nicknames that are words in spanish like guapa or buena chichi chicana etc or some crap like that, and her whole family speaks it n shes always singing songs in it, and talking it to me. shel say something and then il be like what?? and shel say it in english, like "it means im so cool in spanish". and always wearing clothes that represent it, and rarely does she have friends that dont speak it. and her whole room is decorated in it, and she wears jewelry representing it, and shes always like "you cant speak it stupid" or she always like "oh shutup you cant even speak it" if i try to say a word, and shel just go up to random people and be like haha she cant read spanish. im not saying i dont like her i maen its just getting SO annoying, i wouldnt be so annoyed if maybe i spoke it too, but im just getting terribly sick of it. shes always talking it to people behind my back..laughing at me with another person, what do you think i should do? she does sound really obsessive about it, but its hard when your away from your homeland. i'm Canadian and people will often say I'm obsessive about Canada because I have a "Canadians Kick Ass" Sticker on my piccolo case, and a sticker representing Canadian hockey on one of my binders, but being away from your homeland is one of the hardest things ever, and she's probably just afriad that she is going to lose base with being Spanish, so i know it can get annoying, but just go with it, and ask her to help you with Spanish. Tell her, "hey, i really can't speak spanish that well, can you help me?" and then maybe she'll quit making fun of you and help you.

This may seem like a random and completely dumb question to some, but I'm actually quite serious in asking this. My question is that why is it that young girls ages 12-14 and some even younger, feel that they NEED to have a boyfriend just to fit in? You girls don't understand, when your time comes to have a boyfriend, you'll find someone who will like you for you. Also, my other question is why do you feel the need to dress provocitavely, exposing your breasts, butt, and stomach just to look "sexy"? You don't need to be showing all of that to look sexy. You can be completely covered up and still look gorgeous as ever! That was just my random question for today. Any young girl that feels that way, you can feel free to answer.Thanks. (link)

but on the wanting to have a boyfriend,
i know that I want a boyfriend more than anything.but not to fit in. by having a boyfriend, you know that someone is there who you can rely on and trust and can make everything seem okay. but maybe thats just me

i dont understand what you mean about the "talking thing" if you mean talking to your crush its important to talk to him and make sure you guys are alike and you know, just touch base, make sure you guys are knowing each other, and that was probably a way for your friend to make sure he was into you.

well me and my parents got in the BIGGEST fight ever and i walked off and went to my boyfriends house...adn im 5months pregnat adn he said he would suport me and all that shit..well when i went there i didnt tell him and when i got there he was with a nother girl...i felt really bad...and i had no where to go so i went to my friends Marissas shes trying to help me out alot but i tinhk im putting alot of presure on her tho..and i fell bad adn i dont no what to do i dont want to tel lher that i feel liek tell her that...cause she might be liek yea you are and kick me out and i dont think i want to have this baby from that dude...so im tihnking about an abortion but if so then my firnd would get mad saying you made me go all throw that shit!!! i really dont no what to do and i havent heard from my parents for liek a month and i dont wnat to stay with her..what shall i do?

maybe i'm partial to this because i'm adopted, but dont have an abortion. if you really dont think you can handle having a child, give it up for adoption. i can imagine how hard that would be going through 9 months pregnancy and then the birth, but if you could give that baby a good life with someone else, you would be an even better person than i'm sure you already are.
be happy that your friend is there for you, and let her know how glad you are to have a friend like that.

me and my friend have decided to get eachother presents. well, we are like best friends so i got her something special that took me a long time and trouble. it coct about $30 but she is my best friends, so she deserved it. today she said she would tell me what she got me if i told her wat i got. it turns out she got me a $3 key chain!!!!!! i smiled and said "thanks, can't wait to see it!" but inside i was screaming. she already knows what i am getting her so i can't return it and she said she was so excited it was a great gift. im mad, is that wrong? what should i do? i dpn't wanna hurt her feelings but c'mon! please help, i rate high. that stinks. it happened to me this christmas w/ gift exchanges at school, i got all my close friends things and i only got two gifts from friends, but whatever.because in the end, i know i made my friends happy and there still my friends, and gifts dont make the friends. and its the thought that counts, eh?

yeah flanks, just make sure to "pop and lock" as our band director says. and slides, yes you only turn your feet, flanks your whole body goes the direction of your feet.

23/f my holidays were ruined.... when my chritmas tree fell................on me. i was rushed to the hospital but they were unable to get out all of the pine needles. i do smell like a car freshener, but the pain where the trunk hit me wont go away. i have been recomended for a therapudic setion to get over the terror but i couldn't pay for it becuase of the hospital bill, so i decided to use my computer to ask before i had to sell it..... how should i get the pine needles out? and, while im at it, how do i stop smelling like a car freshener...... and which pain reliever should i use? OK.. kind of a complicated situation.. I am currently dating this great guy.. hes 16.. and we just got through a temp. break up.. well.. today.. i found out my ex just moved back to his dads from tennesse.. he was the guy i lost my virginity to..hes now 18.. im 14.. i know im young.. but i love them both.. and i know they both like me.. the 16 year old is in love with me.. i found out the 18 year old was back today when i saw him walking.. i met up with him.. and gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.. well.. we ended up in a french kiss.. i told him me n my boyfriend were broken up..
i dont feel bad about the kiss.. it was great.. but i feel bad that i lied to the guy i kissed..

yeah, i'm in marching band, but i'm a rookie, this year was my first. but on slides, always make sure your chest and head are facing the sideline and roll your feet. thats all the advice i've been given on those. i dont know what slinks are? we dont use that term. but yeah, if you need anymore help, just send something to my box! hope i helped

i've had this cough for about a month long. at the beginning it was from a severe cold or something. but i've been around my sister a lot who smokes and i have asthma. could it be from second hand smoke getting into me? any ideas? i rate *HiGH* (link)

i have asthma too, and i can't be around anyone when there smoking. but i also know i've had a cough for a month, and its a really bad cough too. but for me a cough like this is normal during the winter time. so for mine i usually use my inhaler when it gets really bad. but if your dont normally have a cough w/ your asthma, you might wanna go to an asthma/allergy doctor and get checked out.

I just got spacers about 4 hours ago. I felt just a pinch when I got them on but now they hurt so much I cannot bite down. On Jan. 12 I will be getting braces. I am wondering are they going to hurt more then the spacers, and how can I relieve the pain. Thanks in advance. (link)

spacers are pretty musch as bad as it gets. it sucks cuz they feel like a piece of meat is stuck inbetween ur teeth and you can't take it out, but when you do get your braces your teeth just feel really sensitive. it'll only feel that way for a couple days. and then when you get your teeth tightend it really only hurts if they put a power chain on.
braces really aren't that bad.
