this kid is trying to set up a relationship between me and my crush! he recently asked my crush are you talking to her? and my crush said yeah! should i be happy he is setting us up? and what's the deal with the whole "talking" thing? (i don't get it)

i dont know what the whole talking thing is about but you should deffinatly be happy that they are trying to hook ya'll up! i mean if you like him there is a posibillity that he might like you too! =) so you might as well go alone with it..cause it never hurts to tell the person you like that you like them cause maybe they have liked you too! =) hope i have helped just a little!!!

i dont understand what you mean about the "talking thing" if you mean talking to your crush its important to talk to him and make sure you guys are alike and you know, just touch base, make sure you guys are knowing each other, and that was probably a way for your friend to make sure he was into you.
