i think i have artheritis in my arm. what sign should i be aware of. i know that its something to do with the joints and thats were the pain is..it happens anytime i lift something or add a little pressure to it. am a too young to have artheritis?? 13//totally FEMALE (link)

There is juvenile arthritis but your pain is more likely something like tendinitis. The only way to know for sure is to check with your doctor. :)

my boyfriend drinks alot.. tonight he told me he needs a beer cause he hasnt drank in a few nights. i dont drink alot at all so i dont go out n party with him wenever he does. since im not there i worry about him n other girls.. i dont know if he thinks its okay to do body shots or somethin..i dont kno if i should be mad if he does or jus let it go? to make it worse, hes goin to college this year and im only a junior. should i be mad if he takes body shots off of girls or is that taking jealousy too far? I think its a natural thing to be mad and jealous of that kind of behavior. Don't assume the worse unless you are told differently though. I think if a person drinks to the extent that they are exhibiting bad behavior then maybe they shouldn't be drinking. So don't let anybody try that excuse on you either. You still need to be treated with respect even if you aren't there with him. :)

You could have a vitamin deficiency of some sort. Regardless, I think it would be a good idea to let your mom know and set up an appointment to see your family doctor. :)

The first sign is you won't have your period. It is the most important because not everyone gets the other signs, which are: Morning sickness and breast tenderness. If you think you may be pregnant you can get a home test at any drug store or Walmart type store. :)

wow i cant handle this.. i like this guy a lott!! and hes always soo sweet to me and we had a lot of good times together and he told my friends he likes me and he told me he did.. but we wereon the trampoline and i wouldnt kiss him bc i didnt want to get him sick.. and all the other times i rejected him bc ive never kissed a guy before.. but i ddint really care anyway so i called him twice the next day he didnt answer.. so i left him alone.. the next day my best friend called him and then i called him and he came over my other friends house.. he totally ignored me .. he flirted with one of my friends and then said that i wouldnt get with him anyway so it didnt matter.. that really hurt bc i was gonna kiss him but he just didnt wait.. now i miss him like crazy and i need to know what to do!! do i call him? forget about him? leave him alone? HELLPP!!!

I guess he was just looking for someone to kiss. You might tell him your ready for one if you truly are and he will probably be interested again. But, that really isn't a reason for him to treat you badly either. You'll have to decide but either way the guy needs to learn that isn't how you treat someone you supposedly care about. :)

im going into the highschool next year and i heard that you have to carry like a little backpack around school.. i have a normal sized backpack like what you would wear to the middle school.. is that too big? what should i doo? like should i get one backpack to cary around school and the other for home? Your normal sized backpack should do just fine. No need to buy an extra one unless you want to switch back and forth between the two. :)

You are perfectly normal. Some will last for 6-7 days and some 2-3. Unfortunately we don't have any way of knowing! You're okay. :)

Alrighty.
Well i have a boyfriend and i love him to death. We've been together for over 3 months and ever since ive knwn him he never EVER talks about his problems.
If i know somehtings wrong he'll say things like.."Its not important" or "Its nothing" when i can seeeee that its bothering him a lot. I want him to know that he doesnt need to act all tough around me. And i need him to know that he can talk to me about anything. I just dont know what to say to him.
Ive tried the usual..."you know im always here for you" and all that and he says he knows but it doesnt change anything.
Do you guys have anything i could say or do that would get him to know that im always there...and ready to listen?
Any advice is great advice!!

guys are programed for some reason to think they have to be tough and not show much in the way of emotions. I think he may eventually let you help and tell you what he's feeling if you just keep letting him know you're there for him. It may take a long while so if it doesn't happen right away don't be concerned. It isn't you it is just the way he was brought up to think about things.

Everything about my mom annoys me!! When she eats a popsicle stick it looks like she's making out with it, she doesn't wax he bikini and its GROSS, she's so un hip (but thats typical in moms), and she's just weird. Ah, the joy of motherhood! You won't be able to change everything about her ( and probably wouldn't want to) but you can give her advice and maybe she will take some of it. I mean bikini wax and all that is a fairly new thing so she may not even know any real details about it or how it could help. Don't be afraid to talk to her about those kind of things, it could bring you closer. :)

My son had that problem. His large tonsil caused him to snore and if he ate crackers or chips they would even bleed. He finally got them removed and felt so much better. Get with a doctor and see if this is an option for you. A doctor could give you the best advice. :)

my best mate introduced me to dean through msn. we have never met but we have kinda connected. we have been through the same kind of emotional problems and the other day he said we should meet up and talk about things properly. i really want to as i need to talk about my life. but im scared because i dont like the way i look. i am overweight. do you think that will matter.
i want to meet him because wen we speak to each other its like we know exactley what each other mean. he helped me to get over self harming and a broken heart and i helped him to get over his thoughts of suicide and depression so we are very close emotionally, we just have never met.
do you think it would be a good idea?

I think it is great if you want to meet. He is known by a friend. You may want to take someone with you the first time to help ease the awkwardness. I don't think how you look is going to be a big deal if you connected that well. Tell each other what you look like and be honest about it. So long as you don't make something up all will be fine. :)

You may have to get one of his parents involved and have him get help from a doctor. As much as you may want to help, about all you can do is be there for him and let him know you care. That isn't always enough to help someone though. You might want to read about it at this web site. It has a lot of information that may help you understand why he does it. :)

my best friend is depressed. and it makes me so sad! she says shes fat when shes NOT she says shes ugly when shes NOT and this one guy was like do you have a myspace so she gave him the link and said ew your ugly and signed off.. so she is really sad about that.. i keep telling her that if she thinks shes fat she should just go on a diet and i would go on it with her. she doesnt need to make herself prettier cause shes pretty enough! what can i do to make her feel better? I don't know if she is so much depressed but she does seem to have a low self esteem. I'm sure that guys comment didn't help matters. You need to tell her that young boys can be immature and stupid and his comment should be ignored. If she isn't fat don't suggest a diet. That may make her feel you think shes fat. All you can do is reassure her that she looks great. Hopefully it is something she will get over. Just be a friend for her. :)

Well i have these two friends... nd lets say their names are Bob and Rob.. well ive been good friends with bob longer than i have with Rob.. Both Rob and Bob are a lil chunky.. but they're not Fat.. So me Rob and Bob became a group this year.. and ive always felt like i fit in until one day rob was me and bob are fat.. nd we hate pool partys.. and we have something against skinny people cauz we're jealous of them.. so i was like you guys aren't fat.. nd since im like a twig,.. i got offended and i was like well now im gonna feel uncomfortable in the pool with you guys since we're gonna be in bathing suits.. and rob didn't answer.. so since bob is my best friend i decided to talk to her about it.. so i told her how i felt.. and im like its not like you guys excercise or try to loose weight.. so then we straightened it out... but rob and bob want to go shopping together and rob doesn't wanna invite me cauz im skinny.. i mean i understand how they feel but now i feel like rob feels more comfortable around bob and i feel like rob and bob are friends and im not part of the group anymore.. i mean i wouldn't consider rob my best friend... cauz she's not my type of person.. nd now bob is like turning into rob.. like they use the same font colors and fonts on AIM and bob started listening to rock just like rob.. and now whenever we're together and we talk about clothes.. bobs like Lisa your such a twig you can fit into abercrombie.. and the way she says it, it hurts my feelings.. so like rob has bob brain washed practically and i hate the way she's acting now like all punk and into rock or watever and like how she's saying .. i hate you, your so skinny.. its not my fault im skinny.. im a runner.. and ive been skinny all my life cauz its in my genes and ive been doing sports since i was like 2.. so i dunno wat to do.. please help (link)

I think your comment about how "its not like you guys exercise or try to loose weight" Probably hurt their feelings. I know you say you straightened it out but sometimes hurtful words are hard to forget. If they aren't comfortable with how they look they probably got closer as friends after that. I think you can still be friends with them but at the moment they may feel they have more in common with each other. Give it a little time and try to be understanding of their feelings. :)
