well 13 months ago my doctor said i was gonna get my period in 6 months to a year.. but then a year passed and i still hadn't gotten it.. and then i went to my physical 13 months later and the doctor said another 6 months to a year.. but ive gotten like everything such as my growth spurt pubic hair.. vaginal discharge.. etc. but im active.. cauz im a runner... but i haven't ran since the end of may cauz i have an injury.. so i know like you shouldn't want your period or w/e.. but i just wanna get it over with because all of my friends have it except me and i feel so left out.. and my best friend just hers and she says she won't feel comfortable talking about it with me until i got mine.. so i feel so bad.. when do you think i'll get mine??.. do you think i'll have to wait another year??
Sometimes when you are very active, it takes longer to get your period. Do not stop exercising and being active! It is very good for you and may mean a lot less problems with cramps and stuff. Just be patient. The good news is that you are showing all the secondary signs of puberty and it will happen soon, but it is hard to predict exactly when it will happen.

Today I was watching my cousin's sweet 15 (quincenera) and I'm having one very soon but I felt as though her is going to be better then mines because our families for some reason compete over everything their is to compete about. Well my mom wants me to cause a court and In mines their is like 3 couple cause I'm not trying to go through all that stress about keeping up with 30 people. I think maybe your mom will probably end up arranging a partner for her. She isn't mature enough to handle it herself apparently. Your mom needs to know what sort of problem you are having with her before it is too late to deal with it.
I would strongly suggest reminding her that her quincinera is coming up in a few years, and how would she feel if the tables were turned.
Please try to have fun. I know it is a very formal event and extremely important to you, but you cannot control everything and every one. Part of growing up is dealing with adversity in times of high stress.

Both you and the character are facing the same sort of issue: you miss your daddy. He wasn't with you all day, and he didn't give you any food. It is called abandonment, and it is child abuse, especially if you aren't old enough to take care of yourself.
You need to ask your dad why he didn't give you any food money. And why he couldn't come to the park with you or you go with him. If there is someone else you can relate this incident to that you trust:mom, preacher, teacher etc. I would tell them ASAP because you could find yourself lost or hurt if he keeps doing these sort of things.

You are stressing way too much. Everyone is bringing their stuff, and you have lockers to stash it in. Just don't put every darn thing in your backpack for every class. It helped me organization wise to have a different colored notebook for every class, but some people do better with a 5 subject notebook for several classes.
And besides...nerds have the money. So who cares if people think you are a nerd. You'll have a great job, and they will be working for you. So they have to be nice to you then.

The only thing you should ever give back is an engagement ring (unless your money paid for part of it). Have you talked to him on the phone at all? I would talk to him and see how he feels. It may just be a simple transportation problem. You could say something like "Hey I missed you this summer, are you still interested in going out?" Don't accuse him of anything, be cool and subtle about it.

1. You don't have to have sex to pleasure him.
2. He isn't getting you relaxed enough. It has nothing to do with the size. He isn't doing his job. The more relaxed you are, the better it feels.

College is so different than high school. It is not a big party all the time. It is a bunch of people interested in being at school and gaining knowledge. There are not that many people who don't want to be there. And this can be very attractive to a new person. You meet a very diverse group of people, and it sparks different relationships.
This does not mean that everyone breaks up before college or even after college. If he goes, then let him go. If he is truly meant to be, he will come back. But you will have the same chance sooner than you think.
The good news is that he wants something better for himself. That is an excellant trait to have. Just keep in touch by phone or email or whatever. Hopefully you can still see each other sometimes, but it definitely won't be as often, even if it is down the street.
He doesn't look like he is going anywhere right now. Just be the supportive happy person you know you can be, and he will look forward to seeing you.

My brother is forced to move to Hawaii on tuesday for 3 years cause of military orders. he isn't able to take the dog with him because of the rabie policy in Hawaii and the money issue of getting the dog tested(my parents won't let my brother borrow money.). He asked everyone he knew to take care of the dog but they all said no. I wanted to take care of the dog but my parents told me and my brother that they hate animals and that I won't be able to concentrate in school and that school is my top priority. I've tried talking to my parents about it but they always get pissed off and yell at me. So my brother has no choice but to send him to the animal shelter. How can I persuade my parents to let me keep the dog?
They are being a little crazy with the not being able to concentrate on your school work. Responsibility is usually a good thing for children to have.
Here is another idea: see if there is a dog rescue service in your area that can help out. There are people in their networks that foster dogs until they can be adopted. Maybe one of these people would be willing to help out. And maybe brother can send some money back to help in the dog's care while he is away.
You could also appeal to the media. Here we have a young man working hard to protect our country and he cannot take his best friend with him. Surely you could set up a small fund to help with whatever testing the dog needs to be able to take him along.
You could sell doughnuts, lemonade, cut yards, babysit to help raise the money since you proabably don't have a job. And so could your brother if he really wanted to. There is a significant financial responsiblility that comes with having an animal in your life.

so i was in a theatre once, and this guy comes in trying to sell a folex to people in the audience. i called the cops and they came, but it turns out he was just a part of a pre-show show kind of thing. now he and the show are suing me for false criminalization or something like that, and i think i should countersue for tricking me. my parents think that's stupid, but i think i should do it just so i have a chance of getting some money out of this.

You won't win the countersuit. You didn't know it was part of the show, you are 13. Good grief this is silly. His charges hopefully were dropped, and this is all a horrible misunderstanding. If you are in a theatre, you sort of expect strange things to happen, but sometimes it is hard to tell the reality from the show when they do things such as this. Chances are very great that you will either pay little to nothing. Just tell the truth and let it ride.

If you reward yourself, do it with something besides food: massage, nails, new clothes. Find something in your closet that is tight on you and work to make it fit better. Then work for it to be too big.
You will have more energy and feel better, but you have to constantly remind yourself that you are doing it to feel better and for your own benefit, not someone else's.

You can lose a pound or two, but unless you keep it up, you won't keep it gone. You have to try to exercise at home. It can be done with even just a few soup cans and walking around the block. Use this time to set a new workout schedule for yourself, and your good habits will be rewarded. I wouldn't expect more than a few pounds at first. Remember muscle weighs more than fat, but muscle is more efficient.

I'm a 15-year old female. I've liked the same guy for approximately 2 years. I told him about a year ago that I liked him and all he said was "I don't want to get involved." Recently he has begun to act slightly differently towards me. On a mission trip with our church we stayed out and talked after "sharing night" for about half an hour. We would have talked longer, but the leader called us in. When we got up to the dorms, we kind of just stood there and looked at each other for a minute, then went in. It felt like a kissing moment. I think it is borderline between normal friend and boyfriend. He is warming up to you for sure. So I would just go slowly and enjoy the ride. The fact that he wants to sit right beside you is a small clue that he wants to be more than just friends. As long as he is doing new things, let it go. It's probably time for a talk about feelings if you are up to it. But otherwise I would sit back until it got too uncomfortable.

Girls have hymens that cover their vagina while they are young. They can either break during sex, riding a horse or bicycle, or using a tampon. This is what makes girls bleed when they have sex the first time, and sometimes later. So she could very well have been a virgin without bleeding.
