Well if you were an active runner than yeah that would have slowed that down. It will come eventually enjoy it while you dont have it because it such a drag to get it. esp. if you have vaginal dishcharge thats a clue its coming

It sounds as if your doctor and your body are both of the same opinion - your period will be coming relatively soon.

Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to make it come any quicker. You just need to trust that it WILL come, and that it's normal to get your period in a really wide age range. Many young worry about getting their periods...and then they all do.

As for your best friend, why not try telling her if you are comfortable talking to her even though you don't have your period? Maybe she's worried about hurting your feelings. You could also try asking her some questions to let her know you're interested.

And try to stop stressing....it'll come.

I think that your period will come when your body is ready for it to come. Don't worry about it, and don't feel left out. It's not such a big deal, and just because you have your period doesn't mean you're a "woman" yet. Just think -- you can wear white pants every day of the month and not have to worry about anything!
♥ Hope I helped.

i feel like i wrote your question because the EXACT same thing is happening to me. the only thing different is that all my frinds talk about it to me. i still haven't figured out why i haven't gotten mine yet. i'm thirteen and have hit every puberty sign except getting my period. everybody is different and so is when they get their period. some of my friends got it when they were only 11 and others got it when they were 14. i just wanted to let you know that you're not alone and it is frustrating when all your friends are telling you that you don't want to get it but they don't seem to get that you only want it so you know that you're normal.

Every female develops differently than others so no one can give you an exact answer on when you'll start menstruating. You could start in a few months but then again, you could start in a year. No one knows. Since you're active, it may take a longer time to get your period. Don't worry about it, you'll get it eventually.

Sometimes when you are very active, it takes longer to get your period. Do not stop exercising and being active! It is very good for you and may mean a lot less problems with cramps and stuff. Just be patient. The good news is that you are showing all the secondary signs of puberty and it will happen soon, but it is hard to predict exactly when it will happen.

They're being dumb. Don't worry about it. You are lucky. It is messy and inconvenient, so don't feel left out.

Seriously, don't be in a rush to get a painfully, bloody, kinda smelly cramps once each month. It's something I would gladly live without. I know you are egar for this next step into womanhood, but if the doctor doesn't see anything wrong with you, then your body is developing as it should and your period will come when it comes.

YOU SHOULD NOT FEEL LEFT OUT.

periods stink, so you should be happy that you don't have it right now. you'll probably get it in a year or so. but ENJOY LIFE NOW WITHOUT YOUR PERIOD because it STINKS. it's yucky&disgusting. don't be excited to get it either. if you want to talk about periods just IM me-unxreachhable. i'll tell you whatever you want to know.

I think yours will be coming soon. Dont worry about it too much, im sure nothings wrong. Be thankful you dont have to go through the pain yet. But you probably will have it soon. Being active does make it so your period comes later, but now that you have stopped, it will probably come sometime this year.
