i have a question regarding Hobbies--> Theatre. so i was in a theatre once, and this guy comes in trying to sell a folex to people in the audience. i called the cops and they came, but it turns out he was just a part of a pre-show show kind of thing. now he and the show are suing me for false criminalization or something like that, and i think i should countersue for tricking me. my parents think that's stupid, but i think i should do it just so i have a chance of getting some money out of this.
what should i do?
(by the way i'm a 13/f lesbian)

you could try countersueing them but it would cost more than you could probably ever get cause ur 13 and unless you know a really good one, to win ur gonna have to spend a hell of a lot on laywers upto £10,000 per session so its probably a better idea to go all beady eyed and say sorry ]
ok hi im the one that said ew your a lezbo and im here to say im sorry if i hurt your feelings i am truly sorry this girl told me that what isaid was mean and i just wanted to say i was sorry for any said feelings about it ]
Neither suit will be successful as long as you didn't slander the theatre or the people afterwards. (That is, say bad things about them without proof of wrong doing.) You can't sue them for representing themselves as something other then they are, it has been tried before in the united states, Canada and Europe and has never been successful as it is generally understood that actors are not being who they are.
If you stopped the show, (therefore loosing money for the theatre) caused the actor to have a criminal record, or spoke publicly against them, they actually have a solid lawsuit against you in many states. Having said that though, chill out, it probably won’t be successful. Don't counter sue because it will only make you look more malicious and silly to a judge. ]
You won't win the countersuit. You didn't know it was part of the show, you are 13. Good grief this is silly. His charges hopefully were dropped, and this is all a horrible misunderstanding. If you are in a theatre, you sort of expect strange things to happen, but sometimes it is hard to tell the reality from the show when they do things such as this. Chances are very great that you will either pay little to nothing. Just tell the truth and let it ride. ]
