Ok, you answered my question about the guy i like, and how i can start being friends with him and stuff like that. Well..i liked your advice so i wanted to fill you in on some other stuff that has been going on. Also, i "talked" to him for about a week over the summer. Well, he is one of those guys who hug a lot of girls and flirt with a lot of girls. My friend has that personality that is really flirty and at first i thought she was flirting with him and now she gets so mad when people say that she is flirting with him so i don't really bring it up. Well, since she is flirty and he is flirty, they both kind of flirt together. I know he is a big flirt but he always goes and talks to her and sits by her whenever he gets the chance. She talks to him back because she told me and all my friends that they were best friends and he tells her secrets that he dosen't tell anyone else. She was like "I'm not telling anyone the secrets he tells me and the girls that he likes...etc." They are always talking and around eachother. I thought that since i was one of her best friends that she would tell me who he likes because she knows i like him. It makes me sorta jealous. I confronted her about it and she said she dosen't like him except for a like a brother. (Looks to me like she really likes talking and hanging out with her "brother"). This girl in my class asked him if he liked her and he said "Um....(long pause!) We are just really good friends." He is popular around the school and he dosen't just pick anybody to be his best friend (thats a girl.).He must really like her if he considers her as his best friend. Also, i just want to be in her position where they are really good friends and talk about everything. I want to but do you think because he knows i like him, he's not?? He also knows that i have never kissed a guy and i am 15 so do you think that that might have something to do with it? What should i do?
I don't think the fact that you've never kissed a guy would really matter. Well, maybe he likes your friend and finds it awkward that you like him and he's trying to be nice and ignore it, which just saying it doesnt sound to nice but Thats how guys think. [[CONFUSING I KNOWW]]
But if you really cant be friends with him, how do you expect to date him? Thats what I don't get. Sorry just wondering...

So this guy that I work with and I have been flirting for like the past 3 months. He’s one of those guys that flirts with pretty much every girl so I didn’t think much of it at first. But then it started to get a little more personal and I really started to have a crush on him.
However when I first met him, I had a boyfriend. Then a month ago he broke up with me. Like 2 weeks after we broke up I was talking to the guy I work with and he told me that he really likes me and that he wanted to start hanging out more and on a different level. And I told him that I liked him too but I wasn’t really over my ex so I wasn’t at a point where I wanted to start another relationship. We haven’t really talked about it since then, which was like 2 weeks ago.
But now, I’m definitely over my ex and I really want to try things out with this other guy. But I don’t really know how to let him know.
We’ve talked about it before so I guess I feel awkward or something because I don’t wanna be like “Oh yeah, I changed my mind I do want to go out with you.” haha I need a better way to bring it up.
So my question is, how would you start that conversation? Basically what I want to get across is that I like him a lot, I’m over my ex now, I want to give this new relationship a try, but also that I want to take things slow. (Just because I don’t want this to ruin our friendship)
Any ideas?
Invite him out to the movies or something. Just start hanging out with him a lot after work and inbetween and wait for him to bring up your ex. If he doesn't [which would be shocking considering I know a lot of guys and you say you just wanna be friends and they don't take a hint] then just ask him out.

ok, so within the past year 1/2 i've become best friends with this kid Chris. lately, we've been talking everyday on the comp. and every night on the phone. however, yesterday a girl from my school IMed me and asked me if i liked him because someone told her i did. but i told her i like him as a friend. . .then I told him what happened, and all he said was "oh"...but now he's been saying he has to go a lot, and he hasn't called me, and he gives me 1 word answers, or none at all. but he has a GIRLFRIEND who he does not talk about. so im not sure if he likes me or not. and it's been on my mind since it happened, so i don't know if i like him too.
but his friend (& my friend) likes me too...

Be like I didn't know that it would cause an issue between us and I'm sorry... and see what he says. If you never thought you liked him before someone mentioned that you did then you probably don't like him, ust the idea of dating.

Well just see what he says, and if you figure out you do like him make sure you mention the friend that likes you and suttely tell Chris that your not interested in this kid.

Well, i like this guy and he knows. Well, he's off limits anyways because he is "talking" to his ex girlfriend. Loosen up around him. If he sees that his presences doesn't do anything to you, then he may think you don't like him anymore. Emotions shut boys off somehow, not exactly sure how but if he thinks you don't like him he may want to be friends.
The first step to a relationship is a friendship, or atleast only the ones that work. I knew a boy two years befre dating him because we were good friends.Maybe he just thinks its weird that you like him and barely know him.
I would just take a break, and try to be his friend first and don't aim to be anything else. Don't flirt[[even though its REALLY hard not to]] and just hang out with him. You say your friend and him are friends well have her set up this thing at the movies with a group of friends, and have her invite him.
Make sure though that this boy doesn't think that ***she like hims though because that may cause some issues.

Long distance relationships hardly ever work. Expecially still in highschool, or whatever grade your in. Colledge some try to do it, but they usually do not work out because we do find other people.
Keep flirting with him to a minimal as possible, considering he is still dating someone and you might really scare him off. But make sure he knows that your 'somewhat' into him. Or atleast interested, and don't become like REALLY good friends with him because from experience dating really good guy friends tend to be awkward because even though you might think there hot, and really fun to be around-- when it comes to the actual Boyfriend Girlfriend part.. it doesn't work out. So make sure you flirt but not to much. Dont be all touchy because Ive seen girls be all touchy and then the guy\\and other guys realise that she might be 'easy'.--sorry i have a friend going through this whole "She's a slut" thing right now and you just wanna avoid that.

I have decided that I want to stay a virgin until I'm married. My virginity is special to me. I've gone out with a lot of guys and they all end up wanting to be touchy and I'm just not into that. I don't want to be used. I want to be pure and be able to show my husband (when I actually get married, of course) that he really is a special person and that I cared enough to wait for a long time for him.
My problem is that I don't really know how to tell a guy that I refuse to have sex. I don't want to outright say I want to stay a virgin or that I'm keeping my virginity for my wedding night. That just feels too PERSONAL to me and the only time I would tell somebody is if we were in a serious relationship together and he needed to know.
I'm pretty young and I'm afraid to just say no and leave it at that, I guess. Even if I told a guy that I was waiting for marriage I think they'd think I was joking because of me being so young.

Wait till they started being all touchy, and tell him your not ready but say it like you mean it. Just ne honest, because it really does sound like your not ready either due to the fact your so young.

I use bare Minerals because I have a really bad red tint to my face and it covers it perfectly... I dont actually use Sheercover Makeup but my friend Becky does who has hardcore achne and she uses so much she looks like an oompa loompa... so Id go with Bare Minerals.

this will probably get a bit lengthy. I got a summer job at a small store, and there's a guy who works there who's about my age (he's 16, i'm 15) and he told me he liked me a few weeks ago. I told him that i liked him too, but i didn't really want to date anyone. As we got to know each other, i realized i didn't like him very much as anything but a friend. I figured he was getting over me and we could be friends, but then yesterday he told me that he was waiting until i felt ready to date. I don't want him to be waiting for me! I'm not gonna change my mind, and i don't want to deal with the pressure of knowing he won't date anyone but me.
What should I tell him? should i tell him that i don't like him anymore??? how do i do that without being mean? What can I do that hurts him as little as possible? lots of questions...
You should just tell him the truth. Your not being mean, your letting him off easily by coming forward immediatly by telling him how you really feel.
I would tell him you stopped liking him, Id tell him that getting to know him better has told you that you like him more as a friend then anything else and that you really don't want him to be waiting for you. Because you honestly think that your both better off as friends.
It's really nice of you to be letting him off gently and all you can really do is hope that he takes it like your doing him a favor because you are.

Ive started taking dance clas for an hour every morning, & its intense & my whole bodys sore! Especially my legs. We streth before & evrything so im assuming its good soreness. Anyway, how do i ease the pain? I dont want to be sore all summer! Advil/heating? Any tips, let me know! Thanks!
Before dance you should be doing a lot of streching to get your muscles in the mood to dance. I exersize every morning, and it's sometimes to much for my body as well so maybe you should do it every other day.
Advil might help, and a heating pad on the most tender area.
