limewire connection
i keep opening limewire & it only shows one bar of connection status but dosent make progress & dosent let me download anything..;/
what could i do to fix this?
or do you know of any other free software out there 4 downloading musik?

I had this same problem for soo long. It's because we had dial up and the connection was slow. I changed over to bearshare until we got broadband. Bearshare was no where as good but it did the job during that really annoying period.
Come to think of it, limewire worked if I opened it up as soon as I turned the computer on, it would go up to full bars for less than 3 minutes, I would quickly find the file I wanted, hit download and then even when the bars went back down it would finish downloading it. - Try that before trying bearshare. :)

hmm you could try deleting Limewire all together and downloading it again on your computer

I've had this problem before, it could be that you have more than one limewire open, if so go down to the icons list in the bottom right coner of your desktop and delete the other running limewires

Go to file, then connect, and you should be good to go.
