Im thinking of getting a tattoo on my hand, will it hurt really bad?
I thought it was pretty painful. I would say the pain would be equivalent to having a red hot knife scraped against your skin. From what I heard, areas that are over bone hurt the most. If there's a lot of fat in the area it won't hurt as much. And it will be sore for the next week or so, and then it will become itchy as it peels.
ok so i broke up with this boy and got back together with him.. and he is my current boyfriend.
but just several days ago i was at this movies night were you dont sleep. and well this guy started holding my hand and stuff under the sheets.. i told my bf the next day.. i think the other guy likes me and well i dont know how i feel
to top it off my ex like completely flirted with me today on the bus.

If you are not into your boyfriend, you should break up with him, because right now all you're doing is leading him on. If you truly liked your boyfriend, you wouldn't let other boys hold your hand, and if a guy flirts with you, you tell him you have a boyfriend. I would at least take a break from the relationship to figure out what exactly it is you want, and why you are together with your ex in the first place, maybe there is something special about him that made you want to go back to him that the other boys didn't have.

I went to my doctor because my vagina was itchy and weird and he said I had a yeast infection. We were talking and he told me that if I had gotten soap up there when I was washing then it could have started the infection basically. Ok, so does that mean I shouldn't be washing with soap in my vagina? I'm confused because I thought you were supposed to put soap in there and squish it around to get things clean and not smelly? Please, help. I don't want to call back and sound like an idiot. I just didn't think of it at the time of the appointment because of everything going on.
The vagina is self cleaning. You do not need to wash the inside parts, but you can wash the outer parts with a mild soap.
The vagina has a particular pH, it is slightly acidic. Usually soaps will throw off the pH, which causes an overabundance of bacteria. If I remember correctly, if you're pH becomes too acidic, you will be prone to getting BV (bacterial vaginosis), or if your pH is too high (basic), you will be prone to yeast infections.
If you feel like you are prone to getting yeast infections, you can try a product called Rephresh which helps balance out your pH. (For example some women get a little funky after they are done with their period, because sometimes even menstrual blood can throw off the pH).

so im 17 and my bf is 21 i thought i would end up having a happy life with hin but 4weeks ago he got arrested and he told me it was because he violated probation. even though he was locked up he called me every day and he asked me would i wait for him and i said i will because he is my future husband. so one day i wanted to see his mug shot so i googled his name and i found out the real reason why he was locked up was because he's a drug dealer.... now im feeling like i dont really know him any more and is this what i really want in my life. he dont know that i know the real reason why he's locked up im just waiting till he gets out to confront him. should i try to help him change or should i move on. i really dont want to leave him. i love him soooo much.
I have dated a drug dealer before, and almost went to prison because of it (long story that I'm not going to get in to). My advice: run the other way. You can't ever trust a drug dealer, he already proved you can't trust him because he lied to you. By what he does for a living, he is not only putting himself in harm's way (future husband my ass), but he is putting you in harm's way as well. Take it from someone who's been there, done that.

Actually, you could have gotten mono, or are experiencing an allergic reaction that just coincided with the kiss. I would wait a day or so to see if you experience any symptoms or if the swelling goes away. If not, go to the doctor as soon as you can.

long story short: me & my bf have been dating for about 2 weeks now. i've caught him once talking about how he wants to get back together with his gf and today i caught him a 2nd time. i broke it off but half of me still has feelings for him while the other half despises him. should i stay or should i go? he kept apologizing and said he'd never do it again and i don't know if i can believe that. thanks so much guys
You should go. You can't change his feelings, and he can't really either. You don't want to be the rebound girl, you will only get hurt, because he will be using you to forget about his loneliness and heartbreak. You might even find that if you reject him, he will quickly find another girl to latch on to.
Respect yourself, don't get back together with him.

Does anyone know where I can get cute jewelry boxes? I find the regular ones so plain and boring. How do you store all your earrings? Thanks in advance!
I use mesh fabric, and poke the earrings through it. I hung it on my wall, its an iridescent blue and is quite pretty.

Its called the 8 by 8 rule. It means drinking 8 ounces 8 times a day. A water bottle is typically 8 ounces.

So I recently met this guy whose 19, he's so adorable!! We both have mutual friends so he's not a complete stranger. Well a few nights ago me and my friend went to this little get together we were at, we were both drinking a little. He wanted to go in the hot tub and I said i'd go with him. So he had a swimsuit but I didn't know there was a hot tub so I just went in my bra and underwear, no big deal to me. So it was just me and him in there and we just started talking. I could tell he wanted me by how he was acting aha so I eventually sat in his lap in the hot tub and we started making out, then he started fingering me. Well then we got out and kept making out and he kept fingering me. Well then I was like I don't think I can do this, I can't trust you..you probably hook up with girls like this every night. He said to be honest ..I haven't hooked up with a girl in about 5 weeks. I said ..okay well just to let you know i'm still a virgin and then I asked him how many girls he's slept with and he said 3, two were his girlfriends of a long time and one was a drunken mistake he claimed. He said I'll even give you my moms number to prove to you that you can trust me and if i turn out to be an asshole you can call my mom and tell her. I could go on and on about the things he was doing to prove that I could trust him. Well then my friend and one of his friends come downstairs and he said grant will you tell her i'm a good guy and that she can trust me? and then my friend butts in and says..i heard you just hooked up with a girl last weekend!! well then he just got pissed at me for not being able to trust him. He calmed down after a bit and then we just cuddled. I just can't tell if he just wanted to get some from me or if he was being sincere??

In my opinion, I think he was just trying to get some. I have been in that situation before, and trust me, if its a guy you don't know too well they will do absolutely ANYTHING to get in your pants, especially if they are already turned on, and if he had alcohol in his system.
But the biggest reason I think he wasn't being sincere is that he got angry when your friend chimed in that he hooked up with someone. If he were telling the truth, I believe he wouldn't have gotten angry. He got angry because she caught him in a lie.

im 14/f and im going into 9th grade. i am embarrassed to go "number 2" in the bathroom. i know everyone does it and i shouldn't be embarrassed, but i can't help it. sometimes there are girls who just stand in the bathroom and talk so it's embarrassing. i asked my mom and she didn't really know what to say. what do i do? i guess you could say i'm regular haha so i have to go every morning :/ and people notice so ugh it's just embarrasing and annoying. sometimes i hold it all day and i know that's probably bad and then i feel bad about it. please be nice thank you for the answers :)
I have the same problem, and living in college in dorms, means you have NO privacy, and there is usually someone in the bathroom, and you don't have the option to hold it until you get home.
What helped me was blasting music on my ipod. You can either play it out loud, or just listen to it through headphones, and it kind of puts you in your own little world and you kind of forget other people are there.
And this might sound silly or even extremely weird, but get a pooping buddy, someone with a sense of humor, and nonjudgemental. Not only does this give you some "emotional support," (if you want to call it that), but if you accidentally... erm... flatulate, you can always pretend your buddy did it, and it takes some embarrassment off of you.
Sure these are some strange tips, but it helped me =)

Okay, I'm sure this title sounds weird. But it's really not bad. It's kinda gross, but I popped a zit on my back and I didn't know it started to bleed. So I put my boyfriend's shirt on that he gave me, and there's a small blood stain. Like really small, even a little smaller than a pencil eraser. But it dried by the time I noticed it. How can I get out a dry blood stain?
Spray the stain with hydrogen peroxide, and leave to sit in some cold water overnight. Keep spraying the stain with hydrogen peroxide until it comes out.
what are a few things i can do to prep yourself before i receive oral from my boyfriend? i know he wants to do it, and i was iffy about it, but i'm about to give in.
First, if you've had previous sex partners, go to the doctor and get tested for STD's. And of course before the deed, shower and clean the area well, you may even want to shave or trim the hair. If you are going out beforehand, you may want to make a quick run to the bathroom and wipe down with a wet wipe or wet paper towel if you've been sweating or don't feel as fresh.
Make sure his mouth/fingers are clean as well, that he didn't eat anything right before the deed.

Female. 15. 10th grade.
This is a story back from my years in the Jr. High (7th grade to 9th grade). People think my band director and I had a little bit of a strange relationship. I was close to him, everyone has their favorite teacher. He was mine. He was a sweetheart, he cared about his students but he was stern when he needed to be, he wasn't a pushover. I am now in the Sr. High band which is a lot more difficult due to competitions and all of the practices but one thing my Sr. High band director brings up a lot is how we weren't trained right in Jr. High, which makes me think of my Jr. High band director. I didn't really think much of the way we acted in Jr. High but looking back on it, our relationship was kinda strange. I guess I'll bullet some of the things that stood out to me.
-In seventh grade I didn't really care what I looked like, so I wore my hair up a lot. When I started wearing it down and making it look pretty like curling it, my teacher noticed and said I looked different, that it was nice.
-If I was late for a class, the teacher would tell me to hurry but they would always ask me to do things for them, I would wind up being late but they would never write me a pass because they warned me to hurry. So, I would walk to the band room and my band director would write them for me.
-If I wanted to skip a class like gym or something, he would excuse me from the class by telling the teacher I needed to practice my instrument, we had a concert coming up or something.
-One day at sectionals, it was me, my close friend and my band director. He sat next to me on the right and my friend sat next to me on the left, two seats over, so it was him-me-empty seat-her. I kept trying this part that I couldn't get down and once I finally got it, I was really excited so I was like "yea yea! woo!" and accidentally put my hand on his thigh, in excitement. I had no intention of making that like a sexual move, it just.. happened. He didn't look shocked nor move my hand, I moved it when I actually realized it was there.
-His office is right in the music suite hallway so he always keeps his door shut to keep the noise of the practicing instruments or chattering kids out. I would go into his office to talk with the door shut and the other kids would look in on us.
-He would know when something was wrong with me, because of the way I acted, I'm usually talkative and happy so he knows when something's up with me and he'd always ask.
-He always called me my full first and last name and I would always tell him he can just call me by my first name but he never did. So, one day I said that I am going to start calling him by his first name and I did sometimes and he didn't seem to mind, when we were with other kids, though, he would tell me that his name was Mr. ___
-Playing the instrument I do put me in the first row for concert band and I would talk A LOT because I sat next to one of my best friends and he would always scold us for talking but smile after. Then at the end of my last Jr. High year he said "sure is gonna be quiet without you.. I'll miss it."
-He had since had his first child when I left for the Sr. High and we had always joked that he was going to have a girl and name her after me and she's going to play the same instrument I do and he joked back he would put her up for adoption if she was ever as talkative as me and I said oh pfft, you love it & he would take a second and say "yea, I guess I do. Makes band more fun."
-He would be walking out of the band suite and I would be walking in, say hello to him and we'd stop in the hallway and talk for a few minutes.
-He let me sit in on his music classes (if you teach band or orchestra you also teach music class) and sit in on his study halls and play on his computer.
-My mom said a few times "if you had this relationship with any other teacher, I would be worried about this."
So? Be completely honest, just don't scold me or yell at me if you think we crossed the line. Do you think we passed the student teacher boundaries? Why do you think that we did or didn't? Maybe he just favored me.. do you think he kinda liked me? Thanks!
Seems like you were a bright student that he was quite fond of. I don't see anything too peculiar or inappropriate with this teacher/student relationship. I don't think there are any boundaries that were crossed.
I've had a couple of teachers (but they were all in college) that I've had that kind of relationship with. These teachers usually care a lot about how the student does in their class, and beyond that class. These are the teachers that you keep in touch with even after you graduate.
Honestly, I think he just favored you, from what you described I don't see anything sexual, or inappropriate.
Only thing I can see wrong with it that it was unfair to the other students because all students should be treated equally.

how often do you wash your towels? (that you use to dry off after getting out of the shower)
do we have to wash every week? just wondering bc i mean, when you get out of the shower, you are clean..
I don't use my towels more than three times in a row. Although yes we are technically clean when we use them, the towel still scrapes of dead skin cells, and like the other columnist said, combined with the moisture from the towel that's just asking something petri dish-like to happen.
If you want, you can throw your wet towels in the drier, the heat will kill most bacteria growing on the towel, but you would still need to wash them at least once a week.

ive been using fiberSMART. its fiber capsules that are soppose to make you go to the bathroom and speed up your matebalism.

I've never used this product, but I typed into google "fiberSmart reviews" and found quite a lot of reviews and testimonials from people that have bought the product.
Just a note, from what I have found on the web, fiberSMART isn't meant to help you lose weight, but to help you with digestive problems such as constipation.

What's your opinion and why?
If you are an adult, you practice safe sex, and you're not expecting anything more than sex (such as a relationship), then I think its okay.
But this is only if you she has no feelings for him, and vise versa, because otherwise inevitably someone will get hurt.
And although there isn't anything wrong with a sexually liberated woman, a woman who sleeps with all her guy friends, and then their friends, is not a woman with a good reputation.
I find that just pure sexual relationships work best when you have little to no friends in common with them.

Is it bad or umhealthy to wear your bra in bed? Is it a bad habit to get into, or is it okay?
Although Rhazie answered your question perfectly (i.e: yes, they are bad for you) I just wanted to add that bras can be easily ruined this way, because the padding will get smushed or the underwire parts will move slightly out of place. It just puts more wear and tear on your bras.

Well obviously you love your boyfriend, and it makes you happy making him happy. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, I bet your boyfriend is very grateful to have you. For me personally I never really enjoyed it, until I met my boyfriend, and I just realized more than anything I wanted to make him happy. Yes, it is true many women hate performing oral sex on their partners, yet there are many that do enjoy it as well, perhaps not so commonly.
Also, although oral sex has been around for thousands of years (it has even been seen depicted in ancient artwork), it has been pretty taboo up until recently. Before women used to believe that "nice girls don't do that." I don't think anything is wrong with it, I don't find it gross like a lot of girls do. My thinking is, I love my partner, I accept and love everything about him, and I strive to make him happy. Pretty much nothing about him grosses me out, I've squeezed his zits, I've clipped his toenails, and putting my mouth on his penis doesn't phase me.
Just make sure you are happy as well, and that he's not taking you for granted.

I rrecentl just went through a break up and my mind hasn't been right. I keep forgetting to take my birth control and have to double up. I took it monday but forgot tuesday. So I doubled wednsday. But I forgot thursday so I doubled today. Is this going to affect me in a bad way. Like physically because of the hormones?
Yes, you may experience some nausea and dizziness if you double up. You might also get some break through bleeding. As for more longterm side effects, I'm not sure what those are, a doctor will be able to tell you that, so call them, but you may want to consider changing to a different birth control if you feel that forgetting pills will be an issue in the future. Nuvaring, for example, is a birth control you put in, and then forget about it for three weeks until you have to take it out.
Also, if you do forget to take the pill on time, take it as soon as you remember, don't wait to take it with your next pill.
And as the user below me said, setting an alarm is a great idea to keep on top of things, I will actually do the same =)
