kmn92 answered Monday July 26 2010, 12:59 am: bras with under wire are definitely bad to sleep in because the under wire pushes on you. If you really want the support when you sleep then I suggest a built in (wire free) bra cami. That way you get the support with no health risks :) [ kmn92's advice column | Ask kmn92 A Question ]
MAK answered Sunday July 25 2010, 8:19 pm: Although Rhazie answered your question perfectly (i.e: yes, they are bad for you) I just wanted to add that bras can be easily ruined this way, because the padding will get smushed or the underwire parts will move slightly out of place. It just puts more wear and tear on your bras.
Razhie answered Sunday July 25 2010, 10:10 am: It's unhealthy to wear most kinds of bras to bed. Bras meant for day wear cut off circulation and interrupt breathing. Generally, it's a bad habit to get into.
If you like support in your sleep (and many bigger girls do) try camisoles with build in support first. They tend to be less constrictive then full bras. Stay away from sports bras or under wire bras. Those ones might be pleasantly tight for the day, but are not good for night time. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]

LadyDesi112 answered Sunday July 25 2010, 2:47 am: Hey,
people have many different opinions on this question, but it's actually clinically proven that it is okay to wear a bra to bed. During pregnancy and cycles, your breasts may become sensitive, and it would even help to wear a bra to bed for support and relief, as long as it's not too tight. Hope I helped =) [ LadyDesi112's advice column | Ask LadyDesi112 A Question ]
