how often do you wash your towels? (that you use to dry off after getting out of the shower)

do we have to wash every week? just wondering bc i mean, when you get out of the shower, you are clean..

I don't use my towels more than three times in a row. Although yes we are technically clean when we use them, the towel still scrapes of dead skin cells, and like the other columnist said, combined with the moisture from the towel that's just asking something petri dish-like to happen.

If you want, you can throw your wet towels in the drier, the heat will kill most bacteria growing on the towel, but you would still need to wash them at least once a week.

I wash them every week. It's not because you get dirt from your body on them; the moisture allows for bacteria and mold to grow on them over the course of the week. Washing them helps keep them from going all stanky and stiff.
