i keep opening limewire & it only shows one bar of connection status but dosent make progress & dosent let me download anything..;/

I had this same problem for soo long. It's because we had dial up and the connection was slow. I changed over to bearshare until we got broadband. Bearshare was no where as good but it did the job during that really annoying period.
Come to think of it, limewire worked if I opened it up as soon as I turned the computer on, it would go up to full bars for less than 3 minutes, I would quickly find the file I wanted, hit download and then even when the bars went back down it would finish downloading it. - Try that before trying bearshare. :)

If you're looking into a comedy thing. Look up some comedians on youtube. My boyfriend did that and found a william tell parody using ties and bananas. It was soo funny.
But yeah...youtube is a good place to start.

I have. My boyfriend left me for my bestfriend...then my bestie ended up breaking up with him. A year later I was with him again, and am still with him now. Prolly been together about 10 months now and are quite serious (have talked about moving in together etc). So it's not always a disaster but ultimately it depends on whether you two are right for each other. Some times you're just better off staying friends.

On photoshop 9 I like to make icons, but I can't draw pixelated hearts and stuff cause the paintbrush always is like, faded. It's a regular square brush. How can i make it so when i make a pixel, it isn't faded, it's just one solied color? Thanks! (link)

have your picture open and you have your brush selected then right click on the picture somewhere.
There should be something that says "hardness" move the little thingo (i dont know what to call it, lol) and change it to 100%. simple.

Alright, I know that this is probably illegal but can you download the sims 2 on something like limewire, kazaa, etc? I have the game but my friend has the CD you need to put in to play. I heard you type in The sims 2 cd crack but i tried that and it was in french. any ideas? (link)

I downloaded a game from limewire once, though it didnt have the crack with it. lucky my friend had it.
you should be able to download it though.
the other thing is, why cant you just borrow your friends disk? you could just simply burn in onto another disk and then you both will have copies.
it's also illegal to do that, but there's a lesser chance of someone finding out.
*i'm not encouraging illegal anythings here, lol*

this girl on my friends list has this awesome photoshop. in one of her pictures, she did this crazy eye makeup and did her bangs like bright pink. but its not like she just colored over it, it made it actually look like thats how it really was. but the rest of the picture was untouched. does anyone know what photoshop this could be or where i could download a free similar one? i asked her what it was and she wouldnt tell me. It doesnt matter what photoshop she used. It's really simple to do. You can get the trial version of one at www.download.com thats a website i trust, otherwise the adobe one is good.
I use photoshop CS2, because I do a lot of professional kinda work for people. But I also use it for my amusement. One of which includes changing the colour of hair.
All you've gotta do is open the "Tools" window (Window>Tools) and there should be a picture of a brush somewhere. well click on that but change it to the "colour replacement tool". Choose your photo and the colour you want the hair to be and just colour in the hair.
To get makeup and stuff make a new layer (in the layers pallete theres a button to do that) then add the make up to where you want it and what colour you want it. Then change the opacity (also can be done in the layer pallete) to what ever looks realistic. Thats the lazy way of doing it. I always try to take short cuts in photoshop, there are other ways of doing it, but thats the most simplest.

I want to learn how to play the piano but I don't want to take classes because I don't have time and I heard they take it very fast. I want to learn on the computer so that way I can pace myself and just learn when I'm not busy with homework, etc. Does anyone know a really good online web where they show you what each note is and everything you need to know that doesn't require downloading or someone can teach me online?

i have adobe photoshop but i'm guessing it would be kinda the same.
what you do is duplicate the layer, so you have two of the photo in your one file. make the duplicated layer black and white. then to that same layer erase the t-shirt so that the layer under it (your original coloured layer will come through).

sorry for a late reply but I know how to do it.
1. use the heal tool to get rid of any skin imperfections, like acne and what not.
2. a slight blur.
3. duplicate the layer you just did all that to. on the duplicated layer change the blend mode to overlay. then just make the opacity 40-50%.
and you're done!

Last year, I was quite popular. I made everyone laugh, I talked to anyone and everyone, and I always had people around me. I was totally confident with my life.
Then, this year, all the sudden, I lost my group of close friends because they all got into drugs and drinking. Since I no longer have my close friends, I'm the one walking up to people desperatley trying to start a conversation. I'm the one feeling alone. I don't walk with people anymore, I'm picked last for partners in class, and I'm always feeling left out.

You don't have to not be friends with people because of what they do. Just because they drink and do drugs doesnt mean you have to do it too. One of my closest friends got into drinking and I didnt talk to her for ages. Then when I really needed her someone told me "you love someone for who they are, not what they do".
Just keep being you. Someone out there will love you for you, i promise!

I have this best friend I've known for 6 years now. She has been with her boyfriend for over a year now and sometimes I start to think I am becoming less important to her since her boyfriend came in the picture.
I tried to tell her how happy I am of her and her boyfriend but sometimes i feel left out of most things her and I used to do. Sometimes I feel like I'm the one crawling to her cause it's ALWAYS me asking her to come over to hang out or to go to the mall.
What bugs me the most is that when she's over my house to spend the night, she's talking to her boyfriend 9 pm til 2 in the morning. I've noticed that whenever I tried to make plans with her she pretty much says "Oh, I can't do anything today" then the next hour later, she's off at the mall with her boyfriend.
I don't mean to sound jealous at all, though I do get easily jealous but since I've started a new school year and a totaly different school, I don't want to get jealous of the stupidest things anymore.
I've also noticed that she's a totaly different person when she's around her boyfriend compared to me. When she's with me she's all crazy and wild and herself, but whenever we're (her boyfriend, her and I) are at the mall, her boyfriend would crack a joke about something and she'll end up laughing at me.
Another thing is that she tells her boyfriend EVERYTHING. I even have to tell her that I don't want anyone knowing in order to keep something between her and I private. I don't mean to sound rude or dis-respectful but I think her boyfriend should give her some space sometimes, he calls every minute when she's over my house and she tells him what we're doing, where we're going, blah, blah, blah.
Whenever I mention to her about "She pays more attention to her boyfriend than her other friends" and that "She never hangs out with me or other friends as often anymore" it's weird cause whenever I mention those things THEN that's where she'll start making plans.
Ah, I don't know what to do. It seems like she could care less about what I think of this whole thing, she wouldn't understand, trust me I tried telling her couple of times, she thinks it's no biggie.
It seems like she's kicking me out of the picture.
My closet friend is now someone I knew for 2 years and My friend who has the boyfriend I've known for 6 years.
What do you think I should do about this?
My friends told me I should talk to her about her forgetting about me and barely ever inviting me to places anymore. But I've tried that already.

my bestfriend did that to me!! grrr...well, what I did was for a year i tried to save our friendship by making her aware of how i felt we weren't as close anymore, but she didn't really listen. her boyfriend was another really close friend of mine, so i spoke to him about it, and he understood what i meant. so he talked to her for me too, but she still couldn't digest it or something. I felt like i was in a one way friendship. so i let it go for a while, couple of months, and in a couple of months she says to me "our friendship isn't as close as it used to be is it?".
You've got to let your friend figure it out for herself, even if that means 'letting go' (so to speak) for a little while. if it still doesnt work remember that everything happens for a reason.

I am seriously getting stressed here! My best friend told me yesterday that she was through with life and she wanted to kill herself! I've been through this before with another one of my friends. It turned out that that friend wasn’t going to commit suicide she was just really depressed but I had told someone. Now it’s happening again with a different friend so I told my mom this time. I let her read the conversation we had and then my mom was just like "All I see here is a very angry child trying to get attention." I don’t see it that way though. My mom had said that out of the 100% of people that say there going to commit suicide, 98% don’t and 2% do. My friend said that sometime before high school is over she's going to kill herself. I have 4 years to convince her not to, but I tried a ton yesterday. She said its not helping and that I shouldn’t be her friend anymore. I love being her friend and I understand that she's trouble from home life (her mother doesn’t trust her!
Her brother doesn’t like her, and her dad abused her but has stopped). What should I do? I really don’t want my friend to kill herself but she doesn’t understand that! (link)

I've been in the same situation...
What ever you do, don't let her push you away to the point where you both aren't talking to each other. She wants to see how much of a loyal friend you are. She's like testing the limits of your friendship i guess.
NEVER say it's someone just getting attention. Even if it is you have to take everything they say seriously. Has she ever tried before? That will be a sure sign that it's not attention seeking, it could just be a cry for help. If she hurts herself thats another sign she could do it. But if she's not in either of those categories it IS less likely, but never impossible.
All you can really do is show her that you're there for her and that you love her and try to always have someone around her. Even if that means telling someone like her mum or who ever then you have to make a descision. Whats worse? Your friend killing herself, or you breaking her trust to save her? If you REALLY can't tell anyone, comprimise with your mum and let her stay at your place for a few days. Because depression is a roller coaster so if you can help her through this she WILL come out ok.
