Don't bring it all at once. Maybe bring your binders, pencils and notebooks and gym clothes the next day. Good luck! Hope I helped!

wear your gym shoes...youll be doing a lot of walking so save yourself some room. i got a huge bookbag called the "allnighter" from columbia. make sure you take stuff out of the packaging, put in 2 pens instead of the packof 10 and whatever class you have first, carry that subjects things along with any pens and stuff you will need. everything else, put it the bookbag. hope that helps! <3

Make sure you can't go to your school a few days b4 it starts, like when you decorate your locker. If you can, leave some stuff in your locker.
hope i helped!

well if you have the choice, go before school starts and but all your stuff in your gym locker and locker...but if not do what you can to put it in your backpack and carry some stuff... dont stress out about it tho... all those other kids are going through the same exact thing as you!!

hey :P Don't worry at all. Everyone has the same problem. Just put as much in your backpack as you can, and then bring a gym bag with all of your shoes and clothes and whatever. Then just carry whatever doesnt fit in your backpack in your arms. You won't look nerdy, I promise :P Hope I helped :)

You are stressing way too much. Everyone is bringing their stuff, and you have lockers to stash it in. Just don't put every darn thing in your backpack for every class. It helped me organization wise to have a different colored notebook for every class, but some people do better with a 5 subject notebook for several classes.
And besides...nerds have the money. So who cares if people think you are a nerd. You'll have a great job, and they will be working for you. So they have to be nice to you then.

My best advice is to bring the big stuff with you during your orientation. Don't worry about looking like a freak, a lot of people do the same thing, I know I did. And don't worry about the first day too much. Frosh year went by in a flash and you don't want to get too caught up in one single day when you'll have hundreds to make a name for yourself.

Freshman year goes by WAYY faster than you will EVER expect, so enjoy it while you can. [= Try to bring some things before the actual first day. Most schools do some kind of freshman orientation day, so bring all your things then. That way you have very little, if anything, that you have to actually carry in on the first day. If you can't take things during a freshman orientation day, there should be some time when the school is open [for decorating lockers, finding classes, etc.] and you can take everything and put it in your locker then. It's what I do every year. [= Have a good year!

Well, if you stop and think a moment then you will realize that if you MUST bring all of these things the first day of school - then everyone else must as well, henceforth you will not look like a 'nerd' - and if you do then everyone else will as well.

I don't get how carrying binders, books and gym clothes will make you appear like a nerd though. The only time I could imagine someone appearing to be a nerd based upon the things they are carrying is if they are trying to balance their open bottle of jolt atop their commodore 64 as they carry it down the hall, attempting to find a phone jack for their 14.4 internet connection.

:O Its in good fun DangerNerd.

Don't ban me.

buy a sports bag maybe..i mean its not nerdy to have a sports bag..especially if yuo play sports lol and even if you dont its ok!

in your sports bag you can bring your gym stuff ..in your book bag have your scchool supplies and put them in your locker. its not like your going to walk in with glue sticks and lose leaf in a groccery store bag..you will be carrying your supplies in your bookbag like everyone else so dont worry!

Lockers are a lifesaver in high school. You can stash your books, binders, etc in it when you're not using them so you don't have to lug them around. If your school offers them, sign up to get one as soon as you can since they tend to go fast sometimes.

You might consider buying a big binder and some dividers. That way you only have to have one binder and it covers all the classes. You can buy the little plastic supply holders to go in the front on the binder fairly cheap or get a binder that has compartments for that stuff.

A good quality backpack with plenty of compartments will also help. Just find one that fits your style.
