My name is Melissa. I'm a sophomore, and finally SWEET 16. So, I'll be driving on January 7th. I usually go by May or Mel. In the picture is myself and my AMAZING boyfriend Kyle. He's truly my entire world & I'm not sure how I got lucky enough to get someone like him. I don't like girls. They're fake, and I just in general dislike most girls. Little known fact? There are times I hate my best friend, I mean, hate hate. She drives me insane. When I'm close friends with a girl it's a big deal. As far as best friends go; I have Kyle, who's the most amazing boyfriend in the world; Jennifer Anne Reese aka: PIECUP.. she's one of the few girls I'm close to. I'm generally a nice person, if I like you. If I don't, you'll know it.

In college I want to major in psychology; with a minor in wedding planning or some type of organizational planning type thing. I'm a planning freak. I ALWAYS have a plan, and if you don't plan stuff ahead of time, I'll probably kill you. I tend to change my plan spur of the moment a lot, but I always have one. Lol, one of those weird things about me.


I'm not that much of a "laid back" person. In general, I have my opinion, and I'm going to win. Drama = stupid. But just like every other girl on the planet, I definitely start my share of the drama. I don't like it, but it follows me like a puppy, so I'll just admit I start stuff.

I moved away from my hometown in 5th grade, now im in 8th and i want to get ahold of some friends that i left behind. i have a myspace account and i tried that but theres just to many ppl. uhh is there any other way i can get ahold of some long lost buddys?

This might not work, but I suggest joining facebook and trying it. I don't think it'll be very effective for you, because you're not in High School yet. But facebook's a really good way to find people. If any of them have older siblings in HS, you can search for them and they might be able to get you in touch. (= Good luck!

There is this guy that I really like ALOT, and me and him are constantly flirting and he is always trying to grab my hand and stuff, and he is always like i like you so much, and when i'm like jokingly like dang i'm cool and it's cause i'm so dang cute and he is like yeah you are, and he keeps telling ME, MY friends, and HIS friends that he is going to ask me out and he still hasn't. Well christmas is coming up and i think i know what im doing for my Girlfriend, if you have read my past questions, i'm doing this thing, i get a vase with 11 roses in it, and one glass rose in it. And a card on it that says "when the last rose dies is when i will stop loving you" Hence... a glass rose wont die. Then besides that im gonna do one of those build-a-bear things.. and a silver neckless. Sound good? anyone know a good place to get a silver neckless? like a heart emblem of what ever?

Just a suggestion, because it depends on budget and that kind of stuff, but I suggest getting her a heart locket, with her first initial engraved on the front (you can sometimes buy them with that), a picture of the two of you inside, and have something special engraved on the back. Like the date you started dating & I love you, just something simple! Good luck!

You need to concsiously think about it. A personal example from me is that I tend to jump to conclusions. So when I see something that I might not be okay with, I just get angry and jump to conclusions. Try to slow down and concsiously think "I've already said that" or "I don't NEED to say that".. by thinking about it for a couple seconds, you might stop complaining as much. (=

Maybe do something in collaboratin with the sports section? If they do something about basketball, do a basketball MVP, and tell about them, their likes, dislikes, etc. Or do a poll section. (= Sorry I don't have anything great!

I'm probably gonna be getting braces soon and I was wondering some things about them. Do they hurt a lot? I know most of my friends said that they normally only hurt when you first get them & then when they tighten your wires. Do they really make kissing another person with braces harder or anything? Um, and just tell me whatever advice you have when having braces or whatever you know about them from your own personal experience, haha. Thanks!

Okay, first of all they SERIOUSLY aren't as horrible as they seem. I just got mine about 5 months ago, and people made them seem like it was going to be SO bad, but REALLY it's not! Just make sure you take medicine BEFORE you go get them on / tightened, then again afterward. Trust me, it's not THAT horrible!! (=

a guy i like asked me out. he's so shy that he actually got my friend to do it. i think that's cute though. but i'm a little old fashioned and think he should make a move on me. i said yes, but today in school we went about normally like we're just friends.

i don't want to come off too strong, but i want to get him to acknowledge that we're going out. at least say it, or hold my hand or something. i think he might be a little embarassed if i went up to him and took his hand, because he's so shy.

My boyfriend and i really like each other a lot. I play varsity basketball for my school and i don't have a lot of free time plus i miss a lot of school. I really want to spend time with my guy. What should I do so that we can spen more time with him and he doesn't feel left out of my life?

Well one thing is definitely have him come to your games! He'll be there to watch and support you, and you can talk to him afterward. (= Also, try to fit time in like once a week, regardless of other things. Like pick Friday for example, and on that day nomatter what else is going on, you guys get together for a couple hours & go to a movie or just hang out. That way, even if you don't see him OFTEN during the week, you'll know you have that one bit of time. Good luck!!

I was searching through some xangas and I came across this girl that I'm not too fond of. I stopped to look at all the pictures she had thinking it might be pretty funny. I found multiple pictures of this girl, with my boyfriend on his bed. Nothing sexual, I think, but the fact I'M not even allowed in his room let alone his BED kinda ticked me off. Am I wrong to be upset that he had a girl that EVERYONE knows is basically a slut on his bed with him?

Uh, this is some GIRL on YOUR BOYFRIEND'S bed. You most definitely have a right to be mad about that simply because it's a girl on your boyfriend's bed. You have a right to be a lot more mad if you're "not allowed" in his room. Talk to him, and then if something else happens, end it. You deserve better!

So i graduated from High School last year. And i'm in my first long term relationship. I mean of course i've said i love you and we've had sexual moments together, but i also had that with the last two...the problem is i feel different i feel like i want to give him my whole heart and let go of trying not to give him to much. I want to make things work and show him just how much i care. But in the last two relationships i got cheated on for about 4 to 6 months of our relationships so im scared...is this normal? I have been with him for 6 months!

Actually, it's NOT that normal.. I guess it's "common" but normally you don't have it happen over and over to you. Don't take what they did and let it mess up your current relationship. Good luck!

I want side swept bangs so how long do you think they should be? Any pictures? Is the whole BANG look even still "in"? Im really scared about making this HUGE change. Should I get the bangs?

Here's what I would suggest. Get your layers, see how that looks. THEN add the bangs. If you DO get them, get them about down to your chin (if your hair's long enough) and then if you want them shorter, cut them. Remember, you can always cut more off but it takes TIME to grow back. Lol good luck!

My parents are getting divorced because my mum is unhappy.
Anyway I found out that she was cheating on my dad.
I followed her one day down the end of my road where she got into a car with a guy, Mark. I know it was him because I heard her talking about him to her friends and I know its her old boyfirend.
She didnt come home that night.
I feel weird towards her.
I don't know what to do. My dad doesnt know. Should I tell him. I don't want to hurt either of my parents.
Will this affect the divorce porceedings?

I'm not sure how it will affect the proceedings, but if you think your dad should know, tell him. Technically, they're getting a divorce, so your mom isn't TOO MUCH in the wrong. (She is, but it's not like it's CAUSING the divorce, obviously something else is if that's already happening.) Try talking to your mom about it, and letting her know how you're feeling. ]= Good luck!

Okay.. you need to talk to your boyfriend before you do ANYTHING else. If he's just shy, then try to get him to open up more. Just sit down and ask him why he won't talk to you, because if you're dating he should be. If he doesn't change, tell him that you don't want to be together anymore, and go for the other guy. Who knows, maybe you'll end up loving him. Or maybe one day you & your current boyfriend will get back together. But if he can't talk to you, the relationship isn't going to work. Good luck!
