Hi there,

I used to be the editor of my scool magazine when I was a secondary school.

There are loads of thigs you could do.

You could do a guess the teacher column. Get some of your teachers to bring in a baby picture of themselves and pupils then have to match them to their teachers.

You could do interviews with teachers.

We used to have a school mascot Drey the Dragon, we used to hide 10 pictures of him all round the school and the first person to find all 10 and get their answer to us got a prize.

There are loads of things I can think of!

If you need anymore ideas then drop me a line and I'll send you a few more!

Take Care

Mel xx

Here's something that would REALLY attract students. If the news doesn't all have to be at your school and the goings-on inside of it, write the latest news about celebs.

Who's married to who, who's starring in the next big horror film, e.t.c

Other ideas include seasonal recipes...like around Christmas time you might insert a recipe for gingerbread cookies, Channukah potato latkas? Stuff like that. People could also submit different recipes they gather from home.

I hope one of these ideas are helpful, please let me know if this is of any use. Good Luck!

Maybe do something in collaboratin with the sports section? If they do something about basketball, do a basketball MVP, and tell about them, their likes, dislikes, etc. Or do a poll section. (= Sorry I don't have anything great!
