Honestly, no. It has to come from both sides. Youu both have to love eachother. You also have to know how to respond to one another-whether it be their personality or their mood/attitude in certain circumstances. theres a lot more than goes into a relationship tha love. If youre not happy--100% happy--why be in the relationship? I understand you love him, but if youre not happy, what makes you think that you will be a couple years down the road. It took me a while to realize it, but theres so many guys out there. Not all of them will treat you bad, but not all will treat you well. Find out what exactly you want in a guy based on your own preference-not on what your boyfriend is like now-if hes not all of those and more, then why be with him? Theres a lot of guys out there who will love you and care for you more than you can ever imagine. Its just lifting your head up and getting out of that tunnel vision. Yea, it'll hurt to end a relationship with someone you love, but if youre not completely happy, its not worth staying upset about. There is someone else out there, you just have to be patient and wait for him to come along. Keep your chin up, if your not happy, end it. Alright, so this isn't really an advice question, but I guess it is. So all you have to do is tell us about the guy you are crushing on, some things about him, and why you like him.
The boy I like is super cute, brown hair with little waves and the warmest brown eyes you've ever seen. When he smiles he becomes 40 times more adorable, if that is possible. He's pretty shy, but it works for him, and he's very athletic, but I have never heard him brag about it. When we talk, he likes to ask questions and he is one of those people who can make you laugh even when they aren't trying. He's a study buddy and a good one too. He is incredibly stubborn, but I seem to be able to talk him into almost anything, even though he is yet to convince me of the "awesomeness" of football. He is one of the few people who can put up with my excessive talking, and he even claims to like it. We can talk for hours on end, at school and online until past midnight. He loves dogs, and hates almost all cats. His favorite food is mine too, and we are both in love with the same kind of cookie. I know that no matter what happens between us down the road, he will always be my buddy.

Ive got a boyfriend, but I still have a crush on him! lol I love curly hair, his does that "skater-rock" look where it like flips out from under his hat. And hes athletic-he wakeboards and snowboards like me-but he also played football in high school. We have a lot of the same interests, but also some very different ones as well--which is a good thing-people tend to fight too much when theres too much in common (i.e.:if youre both stubborn, all you do is fight). Hes super sweet and puts up with alot of my crap-no joke--especially this past week when ive been super stressed and moody-he jus knows how to blow it off and make me feel better. He doesnt think about sex 24/7 so he doesnt expect it.
Ive been in a whole lot of bad relationships, but i could honestly see myself with this guy forever-im 20 years old though also. Things you dont want in a guy-if he lies, cheats, steals, If people say hes a player or youve noticed that hes dated a ton of girls--regardless of what kind of person you are, a guy like this will only bring you down. If theres even one thing you dont like about a guy, or if he says or does something you dont agree with, you shouldnt be with him. I dont know how old you are, but with time you'll understand what traits you do and dont want in a guy, which makes it a wholeeee lot easier figuring out what kind of guy to be with when youre older. I like that you wanted some other peoples points of view though :) Good question :D

Hey guys! So, i've been thinking about studying to be a Crime Scene Investigator/Examiner. Btw, I live in New York. I've been doing my research on CUNY colleges, and 2 offer Forensic Science curriculums and 2 offer Criminal Justice Curriculums. What's the difference? Also, can I become a Crime Scene Investigator if I take two years of criminal justice and then 2 years of forensic science? Someone PLEASE help me differentiate. I really appreciate it!!

I was planning on doing this too. I went to the actual Forensics Lab though and talked with some of the actual Scientists. Honestly, I turned around and walked out the door. Everything I saw in the Lab had to do with children or babies and I couldnt handle it. You can not get away with doing it at a country college though. You have to go above and beyond your bachelors and get your masters which means anywhere from 4-10+ years of schooling at a university. Criminal Justice is more of the law part, forensic science is the part that deals with the unexplained deaths and working in the situation rather than in an office with the paperwork part. If you enjoy and do well in science courses like biology and chemistry, I say go for it. Just know, it is ALOT of work and takes a while. If this is something you want and plan on setting your mind to, you can do it without a doubt :)

I'm trying to understand how to write the genetic codes (i.e.: Aa, Wh, Bb) What order are you supposed to put them in and how do you know what genes two starter hamsters have in them, if they were from a pet shop? Do you just base it on what the hamster looks like and begin writing up geneotypes for their offspring? I understand how genetics works until I get to this point. Please help.l (link)

The Genetic Code is far too complicated. The human/animal genotype written out would cover millions of miles. To determine certain characteristics though, I say use a punnet square. The Genetic Code is always written in alphabetical order (i.e.: AaBBCcddEe, etc). To determine its phenotype (what it will look like) pick out certain traits such as color. With the dominant phenotype, you will not be able to determine whether it is homozygous or heterozygous unless you know what the parents genotypes are. Use a simple Punnet Square and take both the parents genotypes. Say the dad is Black dominant (B) and the mom is brown recessive (b). We can automatically assume that the mother would be (bb) because she is recessive and the only way recessive traits are expressed is if their genotypes are homozygous recessive. The dad on the other hand could be (BB) or (Bb). Therefore, the Punnet Square will be incomplete (B_ x bb) from the offspring, you can determine the father's genotype. If all are black then he is (BB), if half are black and half are brown, he is (Bb). SO to determine what the offspring will look like, take the charachteristics of the parents and do a punnet square and get a percentage (1/2 black, 1/2 brown). If you are looking for more than one charachteristic, do the Punnet Square as well and multiply the percentages of what you want. The percentage you get from that will represent the chance you will get one that looks like that. If you have any more questions, or are looking for a more specific answer, let me know! :)

Hi! Well i have like 20 belts (yeah i wear them i hate to waste clothes) and im running outta ideas of what to do with them (and hangers). Right now i have like bunches of 5 or howevermany fit in a hanger and on like 5 hangers. I dont like this idea, and i dont like putting them in my drawers either. I have more belts than clothes!! So if any one has any ideas, maybe creative ideas, for what to do with all these belts--please let me know!!

okay i know this is going to sound weird, but i used a yardstick (i painted teh yardstick to match my room and put it up with nails)... i have like 20 nails stickin out to put my belts on, and also my purses and my homecoming mum... its really cute, plus wayy inexpensive!! =)

If you have been raped, you are still a virgin... unless you had intentions of having sex with this guy and gave him permission, or lead him onto believe that you wanted to have sex with him, then you are still a virgin.. confusing topic, i know... but i have a friend who was raped and she is still considered a virgin bc she had no intentions of doing it.. sorry this probably isnt much help

hi. i never excericise. i don*t play sports, i don*t run or walk much, and i don*t work out. but i realized that i really want nice abs, so i*m trying to come up with a plan for me to do a number of crunches a day for 2 months to get nice abs. so far i*ve decided to do 50 crunches every night and 40 every morning. do you think that i*ll have abs in 2 months? if not how many should i do then? if i were you, id do em at morning and night... it takes a lot to get abs, and if your not exersizing much, its going to be twice as hard.. if you run, suck in your stomach when you do so... that helps make your stomach flatter, and helps give you abs... but if you only want t o do sit ups, yea do like 100 a day... (or more if you can stand it.. they get a lil painful after a lil bit) but do it at morning and night...

its just somethin thats imposible (likcing your elbow, because your upper arm is longer than your tounge can reach, and your bone cant bend), unless your shoulders are double jointed.. it doesnt mean anything really, except just that its not something humanly possible... unless your like wayy flexible... its kinda just a game people play, because it makes the person whos trying to do it look stupid...

Just start talking about this really cute guy... that usually'll get your parents to thinking... but whats easiest is to talk to which ever parent you get along with better and tell them when your alone... they hardly ever have a hard time with this, unless the person youre tryin date is a drig addict and stuff like that... but belive me, your parets will be fine with it... and if you need to, give yourslef a little pep talk before you start talkin to them...

okay.. if hes smoking weed and you dont like it, you NEED to break up with him!! chances are youre going to end up "falling in love with him" (like alot of girls happen to do...) and youre gonna want to do what he does... chances are youre gonna start smoking too if you stay with him... (im not accusing... just guessing...) i just lost my best friend over an issue similar to this... and the thing is once you start smokin weed, youre gonna wanna try other stuff too... its not worth screwing youre whole life up over... hes only a guy... and i hate to say this...but there are a lot more guy out there, that will respect what you say, and that wont smoke... im sorry this isnt really what you want to hear... but i just dont want what happened to my best friend, to happen to anyone else...beacause although it might be making you feel good, its gonna end up hurtin someone else...

i am 15 and going to be a sophmore at my highschool. and i guess me and robbie had a crush on eachother in 5th grade and we went out in 6th grade and 7th but on and off ( you now how those middle school relationships are, dont mean anything) but i guess its funny because we even talked in middle school after elementary and he IMed me the other for the first time since like 8th grade.. but we have been talking online the last couple of weeks and lastnight he asked me to hangout sometime next week. we will probably end up going to see a movie or sumthing but honestly ive never really been on a date. ive had serious relationships but i mean we didnt go on dates first, i dont know how to explain it. so i need some ideas on where to go, what i could wear, and some stuff to talk about. thanks alottt (link)

well you could definatly go to the movies.. thats always an easy spot... um if you were to go there wear somethin casual like jeans and a cute tee... mybe halter top depending on the weather... umm and you wouldnt really have to talk about anything because yall would be waitchin the movie...

you could go grab somethin to eat.. like at corner bakery or somethin easy... there just wear somethin casual too... i sugest the same thing youd wear to the moveis... yall could talk about like sports, or if he drives you could talk about his car... guys always seem to like a girl that knows about the same stuff they do...

if you go somewhere fancy for dinner or somethin, doesnt sound like thats somethin youre gonna be doin though, make sure you wear a nice skirt with a shirt that covers you up most of the way... its kinda wierd walkin into a wierd resturaunt with you stomach showin adn your boobs hangin out... so just a skirt and a nice shirt.. and talk about the same stuff i mentioned up there ^^ just talk about things hes interested in... if you like him like that.. that way he knows your interested... otherwise if its just a friend kinda thing (and youre not thinkin about gettin together with him) talk to him like you would one of your girlfriends...

I had this horrible dream and cant get it out of my head. To make a long story short my 2 month old baby and I ended up in a truck stop when a nut came in with a big knife. He just started killing people left and right and when he came to me I said "please dont hurt the baby" he laughed at me and cut my throught. As Layed on the floor bleeding he cut the babys throught and the baby was crying and he laughed and said to the baby "ahh, are you crying, want me to get your bottle?"
