14/f...ok so I know this guy named Warren. We recently made a bet that I would go a whole day without listening to his ipod. I lost. And the bet was that whoever lost would have to give the other person something. He said on the phone that he wanted a kiss from me and today was my chance but I was nervous when he mentioned it to me and played dumb. He said that I knew what he wanted and I said no I dont just tell me and he said nevermind. Now I'm afraid that I wont get a kiss from him and I don't know how to bring it up that I still owe him. Any ideas?

This is a question for the girls. I have to wear white pants tomorrow at school and just my luck i got my period today! And of course when i get my period i get paranoid about having leaks. My sister has tampax pearl tampons that are super and i dont think thats the size i need and i cant get ahold of her to ask. But my question is which is better to prevent leaks pads or tampons?If tampons which is best to use? If any of you use tampax pearl have u ever had any leaks? Thanks a bunch!! (link)

Am I missing something? Do most girls lose their virginities by the time they're 16? I'm just amazed, because when I was 12, NOBODY was having sex, or even kissing... and now I hear about 12 year olds having sex! I'm 18, so I'm not THAT old...

I know what you mean. Its kind of sad that so many haven't much left to experience by the time they are 16.
How much of it is true is another story. I like to think that some of them may just have questions and want to seem like they know what they are talking about.
But it is bothersome to me now and then. Such short childhoods! :)

So I'm taking a lyrical class this year and my dance teacher is this really weird spiritual lady. I'm one of the best dancers with the most experience in my class. She always corrects me and i just give her looks behind her back because whatever corrections she gives are made from her jumping to conclusions. She only gives me corrections no one else! HELLO lady im the best effin dancer you have in your class! So today she took me aside and gave me a talk heres what happened:
Her:I've noticed that when i correct you, you always look somewhat discouraged afterward. is this true.
Me: Yes
Her: Why do you think that?
Me: Well, I'm not used to being corrected in dance. I mean, my dance teachers have never corrected me so im not used to it.
Her: Thank you for opening up and sharing! You know I am doing that because I care. If I didn't give corrections you would go up on stage and they would say "What are you doing Mrs** why didn't you fix that?"
Me:(thinking in my head)THEN WHY DON'T YOU CORRECT YOUR OTHER 7 STUDENTS?????
After that I walked out of the door and started crying. I feel like im the only dancer in my lame class that is bad, even though i know this isn't true. i don't understand how this lady thinks and i can't stand to be around her. What should I do? I have tryouts this weekend and my confidence is now crushed into smithereens!!! (link)

You confidence shouldn't be crushed.
She is hard on you because she knows you have the talent. The others don't. She is just trying to make you use the talent you have to its greatest potential.
Don't be satisfied just being good. Let her help you be the greatest! Learn from what she is trying to teach you instead of rebelling or being hurt by it.

my mom has this mole on her stomach, its not that big but its not small. She said its starting to come off. and it turned gray and it looks all cracked and stuff. she has a bandaid on it now. does anyone know what this could be? or if she could die. i heard that if a mole comes off you could die? im not sure im just scared. anything will help.

Changes in moles should always be checked out to be on the safe side. So, she really should get it checked out and removed.
The fact that it is on her stomach could mean though that clothes are rubbing on it and causing it to get sore and irritated.
Play it safe though and tell her to get it looked at by a doctor. You will all feel better just knowing what it is. :)

Oh, well then you really should keep your distance if at all possible.
It would be so very easy to fall back into the relationship again. If this is something you want...I don't know. If he is leaving again though you may be looking at getting hurt again.
Just make sure he doesn't get you to do something you don't want to do. He knows just how to do it, you were together a long time.
You know deep down weather or not you can handle seeing him right now. :)

I have this friend who I met a few months ago. We became almost like best friends (emphasis on almost) until I noticed something..she follows me. If I don't show up for lunch one day she looks around the school for me. If I don't show up to meet with her and our "possy" in the morning one day, she goes everywhere to find me, and this just creeps me out. On top of that, she ALWAYS needs my help with math homework. Always. Whenever I help her, she just says "I don't know how to do it" and when I show her, she scoots so close to me and it makes me feel like punching her. I was doing my homework this morning and said I was busy so she sat there looking at me while I did it.
Anyways, I told another friend about this and SHE told HER. And so she cried during first period and ugh. What should I do?

Talk to her. The girl has a crush on you. She just doesn't know how to handle it.
Tell her you like her as a friend but you aren't interested in dating her right now. Be as nice about it as you can be.
I think she may have taken your friendship to be more...or is hoping it will be more. Let her down easy. But do talk to her about it. :)

we'll me and my bestfriend hang out every weekend and we hang out with these two boys, c and j and my best friend started to date c, and after a while me and j got kinda bored with having them date and everything so me and him we started talking a lot and some how we got to talking about becoming "friends with benefits" and at first it was just simple just us two making out but then after that it got more serious and well i let him finger me and i jacked him off and it was more then i intended to ever do with him, we'll now things have gotten more serious between me and him and well now he likes me and i like him, we arn't dating or anything but our feelings are gettn stronger everytime we talk and i've had sex before and so has he and well we always talk about maybe having sex with each other and now im thinking that maybe i shou;d..i need help on weather or not i should or not? I guess I am old fashioned. I hate the whole friends with benefits thing.
Either he cares enough to date you or its just using.
So, I would have to say stop with the benefits. If he can handle that without getting mad at you, and decides you are good enough to date...Proceed safely in whatever you decide to do.

How can you tell if a girl has a potential interest in you and does resting her head on your shoulder signify anything? Also, what if she lays with you on the grass with her head resting on your stomach without a care in the world of what a group of friends think?

I think there is a definite potential interest there. Those actions are pretty intimate.

hey so here is my latest problem with my ex- so he is coming into town, now he dont want me to pick him up k no problem i honestly did not want to go becuase i dont think that i can handle it. NOw here comes the worst he has my laptop and wants me to meet, i dont know that i can meet him and be sane in all the same day. i would rather just him bring my laptop to my mom when i am at work or leave it at his house and i will pick it up when he is not there but he want have that, he just keeps saying i want to meet you to give it back, i want leave it somewhere. honestly i dont know that i can keep my cool and still see him. i know i have not really explained why we broke up, becuase it is a long story but i will tell you we were together for 3 yrs if you want to know that whole story feel free to im me frankus521or e-mail me at frankus521@aol.com. so what should i do i know i have to meet him but i dont want to cry in front of him or break down. I honestly wouldn't meet up with him at all. You don't say how long you have been broke up but, its always best to just stay clear away until your feelings are gone.
He knows what to do to push those emotional buttons of yours...you may wind up doing something that will just make his leaving again that much harder.
If you have to, agree to meet him at your moms. Don't show up & let mom take the laptop. That's what I would do anyway.
If you really have to meet up with him personally...keep it public.

It was probably water weight. If it continues see a doctor, but I think you will gain it back.
Its not uncommon for girls (especially around the time of your period) to have fluctuating weight like that. :)

Iam 16 years old and my math teacher has been really mean to me like she calls me fat and miss piggy and it's really lowering my selfesteem.mrs.Trapnell that's my teachers name asked me how much my mom weighed and she asked me was my sister fat and all kinds of things like that.mrs.Trapnell also made me sit in the counsler's office for 2 hours for something that didn't even happen in her classroom I was stretching and my shirt was kind of short and this boy was next to me and mrs.trapnell saw it and this happened 2 days before she sent me to the counsler's office she said I was showing off my body in front of this boy named carl is this ok for a teacher to do this can I get her in trouble can she get fired.Is this right or is it my fault? im 15/f and im gonna apologize for makin this so long right now instead of at the end.
so theres this guy and we are best friends. well we went out once but it didnt work out cuz we didnt really talk back then. well then we started talkin and we got really close and we talked about everything with each other and he was thinkin about askin me out but then he didnt and his brother asked me out and i said yeah. he got kinda mad at me for goin out with his brother and kinda started treatin me like shit. well after about a month he kinda realized that me and his brother werent gonna break up and he started bein nice again and we became best friends again. then he started hittin me again after about a month. then 2 months later i broke up with his brother and he got kinda mad at me but he thought it was funny. now we are best friends again and he hasnt hit me in 2 days which is good. i realized that i really like him but he considers me his sister becuz we are so close.what should i do? do you think he even likes me? im so confused and i dont want to mess things up between me and him. also i know who he likes and me and the gurl are friends and him and her are like best friends and they talk about everything now and me and him only talk about a few things but he still considers me his best friend. The problem is this. In order to get on birth control pills you have to have a pelvic exam.
They are not real cheap. If your mom has insurance it may pay for it, but, she would find out.
Your local health department or planned parenthood may do it for little or no cost. That's the place to start. :)

However, since you can only choose one, I would have to say the girls. She can get pregnant and so has the most life altering consequences should birth control not be used. :)

I'm fifteen years old and unhappy with the way I look. I've been considering cosmetic surgery and I know exactly what I want and how much it would cost and I'm aware of all of the risks. But my friends have convinced me not to make any final decisions until I'm eighteen years old because they say that my face hasn't finished changing completely.
But is it realistic to think that your face can really change that much in two years? When does your facial structure really finish growing and changing? (link)

I don't know exactly how many more changes your face may go through, but I do know that most surgeons will not work on a person unless they are 18.

It is probably a case of tonsillitis.
I don't think symptoms of an STD would show up that fast. Herpes would be the only STD you could get from oral sex and that would be more like sores around your mouth.
If it gets worse, see a doctor. Because it could be strep as well. Don't worry about the oral sex being the cause. I don't believe it is.
Just bad timing. ;)
