2. Dress to fit your body type, and buy the size that fits. If you're a size 6, squeezing into a 4 won't make you look skinnier. It makes you look fat when you aren't.
3. You will never regret waiting to lose your virginity.

Doing that won't really do much. You've basically got three choices: get a tissue, use a condom (which you should be doing anyway because you'll be coming in contact with fluids), or make a huge mess. Ask the guy what he wants you to do.

how do you constantly keep someone guessing? because then whats the point of getting to know someone if you're trying to keep them guessing... i just dont get this whole mystery thing...

I've always interpreted "keeping them guessing" as simply maintaining a level of spontaneity in your relationship. Like, it's freaky/weird to change something like your personality every day, but going on different dates is awesome. It keeps things from getting boring.


Plus, you can keep someone guessing, in a sense, as they realize that there's more to you than meets the eye. For example, a big tough guy having a soft spot for puppies. Or a "party girl" being valedictorian of her class. Things like that.

You can't lose weight in just one area. Weight loss occurs throughout the body.

You can, however, use makeup techniques to make your face look less chubby, and choose clothing that doesn't emphasize your neck/face.

i just got a cellphone in march, and ive never had any trouble with prank callers or anything. but within the past few days ive had some new numbers call my cellphone but it was always when i wasnt near it so i didnt get to take the call.
tonight i answered and it sounded like a drunk old man. he kept saying, "hello? can you hear me?" and i just told him i thought he had the wrong number so he hung up. but the other person called when i wasnt near the phone.
i dont know, basically im a little freaked out. i worry so much, but it just scares me when random drunk old men call my cellphone at 11:15 at night.
am i worrying over nothing?

I think you're worrying too much. It's just a wrong number, most likely. If this caller is, indeed, both old AND drunk, he'll more easily forget his friend's ACTUAL number, and forget that you said it was a wrong number.


Call your cell phone company and ask to have the number(s) blocked. That should take care of the problem =)

So I currently have bangs across my forehead, and they are definitely not working very well - I have a horrible cowlic right in the front of my bangs. (causes horrible split and the bangs to stand straight up)

I was wondering if my hair would work to where the part was sort of like Lauren Graham's - further over to the side. (I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow and I'm trying to decide if I should have her go ahead and cut my bangs how they are or if I just have her trim them so I can grow them out) Are hers completely side bangs, or is the part just further over?

I'm 99% positive that they're side bangs, and even if they're not, it'd work out better if you had some long bangs to do that.


Unless the ends are damaged, just leave them alone. Tell your hairstylist that you're growing them out. Print out the first picture if you can and bring it with you to explain the look youre going for.


Your bangs will eventually fall the way you want them to. Begin parting your hair off-center after showering (including bangs) and after awhile they'll go that way on their own :)

i think i have gingivitis. i have too tiny white puncher spots which almost look like holes in my gum. its on my lower jaw in the front down by the bottom of my lip. it might just be kancorsors but it doesnt seem like it. any ideas?

Yup, see a dentist.
They'll know better than us what could be wrong.
Plus, open wounds/sores in the mouth are:
a) Painful
b) sometimes gross-looking
c) potentially dangerous - it allows infections in more easily.


If you don't normally see a dentist, try looking for a free clinic or something like the WIC program. Good luck!

I took two expired aspirins maybe an hour ago. My headache wasn't (and isn't) going away so I looked on the bottle to see when I could take more aspirin and realized that they had been expired for a couple of months. Am I okay or should I go to the hospital? And should I take other medication for my headache or will it interfere with the expired aspirin?

Aspirin doesn't break down into anything harmful. It just loses its effectiveness. Like a 300mg tablet would be like a 150mg tablet. You're fine. After the dosage period has passed, try taking medicine that isn't expired.


Headaches that don't go away (or frequently come back) can be a sign of something more serious. If this happens to you, see a doctor.

I am moving into a new home and the previous people had a dog. The dog peed all over the carpet and it's really nasty. We're not entirely sure how to clean this pet urine off of the rug properly. Does anyone have any ideas other than to replace the carpets entirely? THANKS :D

Rent a Rug Doctor from the grocery store. They have products available designed to remove odors. In fact they have a product called Urine Gone or Urine Eliminator or something like that designed for that exact purpose.


I really don't think there's an alternative to cleaning the whole carpet. And I would anyway, because that smell has to be disgusting, and undoubtedly the urine got into the padding and everything.

ok so this weekend i was on my period so i hate having sex wile Im on it even thou hes perfectly find with it... i dont!....

I suppose you could tell him it's a huge turn on for you, it might alleviate some of his embarrassment. He might be thinking that you'd be turned OFF or something. Otherwise, there isn't too much else you can do.

I've read in several different books and magazines that we only remember our dreams if the brain is interrupted during REM sleep (which is usually the only time you dream, I believe). You don't necessarily have to WAKE UP, just be disturbed.


Like everyone else has already said, there's several other reasons as to why we forget, too. You're ferfectly fine :)

I have heard stories about there being some lore about a tree on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill. It seems to vary from the school burning if the tree falls to couples that sit under such tree will get married. Does anyone know anything about the myths. I would just like to know what the "official" myth is.

okay so i'm going mini golfing with some friends and my ex is gonna be there and i'm trying to win him back...our friends are probably gonna leave us after, so i have the rest of the night with him. i was thinking of going for a walk in the park or something and watching the stars :) so what should i wear that's impressive but doesn't seem like i'm trying too hard. i was thinking mini skirt and tanktop? or should i drop the skirt and wear shorts? idkk help pleasee.

Wear shorts. Going mini golfing in a skirt is a pain. Everytime you bend over to get your ball, you're gonna worry about flashing someone.


Go with cute shorts and a cute top of any sort. Tanks are fine, if the weather calls for it. Otherwise it'll look like you're trying to show yourself off too much.

In addition to getting a nice push up bra (or five =D) do workouts that strengthen your shoulders and upper arms. There's a workout you can do that my dad calls "butterflies". They tone up the area under your arms. They really make your breasts/shoulders look nice.

Okay I know sound werid. but having a egg allgery. i know egg is all protaine.. is there a thing maybe i probly be not able have food hase protaine? like meat and stuff like that? or i don't know i just thinking lathy with having sucking headaches all the time. half of the time iknow it sinus but it hard to tell becouse sometimes i feel like it not just sinuses..any ideas?

You seem to ask a lot of questions about egg allergies.


You should really be tested by an allergy specialist for common (and not so common) food allergies. It's not a protein allergy, it's an allergy to eggs that you have. My friend's dad is allergic to poultry - but he can eat steak. And plenty of people with egg allergies can eat meat.


Headaches have SO many causes, we cannot even begin to diagnose you.

So I'm on this 28 day birth control pill. the 4th week, is the inactive pills, and you're supposed to be on your period when taking them. Well,I wasn't the last time I took the inactive pills. Could that affect my chances of not getting pregnant?

You might not get your period while you're taking the inactive pills. I've been on the pill for a year and I always get mine on the last day of each pack. ALWAYS.


If this is a recent change, call your doctor or take a pregnancy test if you don't get your period. But if you're taking the pill the way you're supposed to, you should be alright. If you missed pills, that can mess things up. Otherwise, you're totally fine.

My boyfriend is the sweetest thing! The only problem is a lot of the time, I have to make the decisions/suggestions on romantic things like where to go or what to do (example: dinner and a movie, beach, walk, ect.)
