Hairstyle like Lauren Graham's?

Question Posted Sunday July 12 2009, 7:10 pm

So I currently have bangs across my forehead, and they are definitely not working very well - I have a horrible cowlic right in the front of my bangs. (causes horrible split and the bangs to stand straight up)

I was wondering if my hair would work to where the part was sort of like Lauren Graham's - further over to the side. (I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow and I'm trying to decide if I should have her go ahead and cut my bangs how they are or if I just have her trim them so I can grow them out) Are hers completely side bangs, or is the part just further over?

Here's a couple picture of what I mean: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

that's a little tough.
i think it would work out fine.
but if it doesnt then i suggest bobby pinning the side so the cowlic.
hers are side bangs i believe.
try it! you might like it!
and if it doesnt work out you can always try somehting else!

hope i helped(:

I'm actually attempting to do the same thing as you (grow out straight across bangs)

I'm 99% positive that they're side bangs, and even if they're not, it'd work out better if you had some long bangs to do that.

Unless the ends are damaged, just leave them alone. Tell your hairstylist that you're growing them out. Print out the first picture if you can and bring it with you to explain the look youre going for.

Your bangs will eventually fall the way you want them to. Begin parting your hair off-center after showering (including bangs) and after awhile they'll go that way on their own :)
