I am a thirteen year old girl and I think I might be bisexual. I have never actually had a thing for anyone other than males but I get turned on by lesbians and recently have developed a very kinky streak for other females. I know I am young and that many teenagers go through stages where they are confused about their sexuality but I am worried because I don't know what my friends will think. Some of them laugh about homosexuals and bisexuals and my best friend said if I turned out to be a lesbian/bisexual she would be really wary of me. How do I know if I am for sure and how do I deal with it if I am?
I really don't think there's any way for you to find out for sure if your lesbian or bi right now. No one really knows what's going on in their head, or with their body at 13.
So, there's really nothing you can do about it right now. If you want to be completely honest, then tell your really good friends what your worried about and see how they react. Perhaps not the friend who already told you that she would be wary, but try telling someone that you think would be ok with it. That might not be an option... I remember high school and how easy it was for things to get out, especially when you don't want those things to get out.
so.. I don't know how you would know for sure. As for dealing with it? Well, your going to get some people that avoid you if they find out. Those people are assholes and deserveto have something bad happen to them. :)
But, there are also goign to be the people that treat you the same as before, or even like you better for being able to be honest and be yourself.
No matter who you are, your going to have these kind of problems. There are always going to be some people who judge you, whether they mean to or not.
High school sucks. Good luck.
Also, I thought I should add that sometimes telling someone seems scary, but really, that person would be the most understanding.
I say this because in high school my best friend was bisexual. When she came out, she told a few other friends before me, and, of course, I found out before she told me because people gossip. When she finally did tell me herself, she said that she was afraid to tell me because she didn't know how I would react. But, out of everyone, I was the most accepting of it. I also didn't feel the need to go to the next group of people and laugh about it like others did.
Sometimes, your friends can be understanding. Sometimes they just suck. You have to figure out who's really a friend, and who isn't. If they're really good friends, then they'll either be ok with it from the start, or they'll work through it and eventually be ok with it.

my guy friend is having trouble with this and if im more informed, i can help him out a bit more. well he has this gf, kelly, who is a good friendof mine and i got them together. theres this girl who is kelly's friend, bernie, who is always clinging onto kelly (almost like she likes her...) and so this guy cant pull her aside to kiss her. theyve been together for 4 months and for some reason kelly isnt being very nice to the guy...she doesnt want to hang out for dumb reasons and she thinks theyre going to fast when they barely hold hands, she never calls him or does anything sweet for him. before we thought it was pms but its been going on for a reallllly long time. (poor guy.."i didnt think it was supposed to last this long") he really loves her and i dont know what to say to either of them. any tips?
Perhaps Kelly is acting like that because she really doesn't like him. Maybe keeping her friend Bernie around keeps things that Kelly doesn't want to happen, from happening.
Ask Kelly if she really likes the guy, or if she's just stringing him along. If she really doesn't like him, then the decent thing would be for her to break up with him. It's rude of her to continue to play with this guys head if she doesn't really like him. He'll just continue to think he's in love, and she'll eventually have to break his heart.

ok.........my friend Casey, wanted to bring her boyfriend, me and my boyfriend to the movies on Friday...but im soooo dissappointed with myself but i truley feel my boyfriend will be like "GEEZE! WHY IS SHE HANGING AROUND THAT UGLY THING?" And im really really really nervous about it. Like if he'll talk about her behind her back to me or one of his friends. How do i prevent this??
You can prevent it by not dating someone who is such as asshole in the first place. She's your friend, why should he even care what she looks like?
Ugly people deserve friends too.

when i was younger, i was a bit chubby and i was really self conscious about it...it sucked being too big for dress up clothes. i was one of the first to wear a bra and get teased by the boys. i had a lower voice than most kids in my grade and i would feel akward singing with the class. well now, i finally took controll over my weight and im known for my singing ability as a strong alto. sounds great, but i still feel out of place. for me its a blessing to wear a size 5, when its fat-pants for someone else. i feel kind of not-as-good because im a young alto. am i making too much of this or can anyone relate? thanks in advanced and you deserve a 5 for readin this.
Would you really want to be one of those people who call a size 5 "fat-pants"? They are always the people who get mistaken for anorexic. Even if they aren't, who would want to look anorexic enough to get mistaken for it almost daily by both strangers and friends.
I've always had a tiny build, but my pant size now stays 5 or 7, depending on the brand and style. I would much rather have that then be able to fit into a size 00.
Even though society tells us that tiny is better, you must be able to admit to yourself that you look much better than anyone who's skinny enough to fit into a size 00. Even the name "size 00" makes me think "anorexic"
As for being an alto... Alto's are needed just as much as any Soprano. A strong alto singer along with a soprano is what makes the music good. It's not the soprano's that make it good, it's both.
Are you making too much of this? Of course you are. Thats what people do. Everyone has some gripes about themselves, no matter what they're doing in their life.
I hate my skin, my teeth, my complexion, my hair, etc... My friends tell me that it's all in my head, but no matter how much they tell me that... it's really just my opinion of myself that matters. Once you start feeling good about yourself, you'll feel much better.
Let me know when you figure out how to feel good about yourself will ya? :)

There`s this boy I know.He says stuff to me like"since you`ve been bad I am going to fuck you hard tonight so where going to be making babeies"or"I am going to smak that big ass of yours".And I don`t realy like it when hedose that. One time I was alone with him and he started rubbing my body.I`ve told him to stop but he dosent listen. And if I tell an adult he might try to rape me.I need help so can you plese help me.
Why is it that he would try to rape you if you tell an adult? You need to find someone older that you trust a lot and ask them to help you.
You need to make sure that your never alone with him. Make sure you always have someone with you, close to you, so he can't wisper things like that to you without them hearing it also.
Does this happen at school? If so, then you definately need to tell someone before it gets to the point where your too afraid to go to school.
Is it possible that he thinks you like this? Or, that once he knows for sure that you don't like it, that he'll stop?
I know it doesn't seem likely, especially since you've already told him to stop... but... guys can be quite dense. In these kind of situations, people can sometimes ignore please of "stop" and see and hear what they want to hear. Which, in many cases is that you like what he is doing even if you clearly do not.
I really think you need to tell an adult who you trust. Or at least a very good friend who can help you out.
Other than that, you need to avoid him as much as possible, and make it COMPLETELY clear that you don't like his advances. Try threatening to go to an authority figure if he doesn't stop. Or, just go to an authority figure without warning him first.

I just watched the news and one of the articles they had was talking about the latest "trend" in music.
They showed a clip from a new music video by Coldplay, then said "this is from the album that people are hoping breaks the trend in low sales of music this year. The next clip you will see is what is the current 'hot' thing in music."
And they showed that `Jamster!` Frog, with some music playing in the background.
After seeing that I wanted like nothing else to shatter one of the vinyl encapsulations of all that used to be good in the world and slice my wrists with it.
The `Jamster!` commercials hit comedy central awhile ago, and for about 3 weeks they bought enough advertising space on comedy central, where they could've instead spent that money buying canada. When I saw one of their commercials for the fourth or fifth time I said to myself "im going to have to be the one to kill these people"
And now I think I really am.
After seeing that I lost all my faith in humanity and the music to come.
That makes me sad.
I like coldplay.
If your going to kill the frog, which I suggest whole heartedly, you should shoot it with a BB gun. That was always a favorite when I was younger.

I have a question regarding kissing. You know how in movies two people will be close to eachother & just start kissing at the same time? Even if they aren't "together". Well, I know movies are fake but does anything similar to that occur in real life? Like, is there a magnetic attraction of some sort that will just bring too people together like that?
Yes. It's called hormones. :)

me and my boyfrind have been together for almost 10 months now. we never really argue, except when i talk to other males on the telephone. i tell him, they are only friends, but he feels uncomfortable with me talking to them. should i give in, and not talk to my friends or should i continue being friends with my male friends? besides i dont understand why he's uncomfortable anyways.
You should never give up friends because he feels uncomfortable with you talking to them. This is something for him to get over, not something for you to change. Does he have a reason to be worried? Is there anything you've done in the ten months that the two of you have been dating to make him think that you wouldn't be trustworthy?
Trying to isolate you from all of your friends, regardless of your friend's sex, is a form of abuse. You will never be able to be truly happy with this guy if he forces you to give up all of your friends. You need to talk to him and make him understand more clearly that they are friends, and you can't give them up.
If he refuses to understand that, then you should let him know that you won't change that part of you.

I am 13 and a girl who has never had a boyfriend and I think think this is my chance. There is this boy who has gone to mostly every school I have gone to(were in the same grade). But I think he likes me.Its like he has been drooping clues like he stares at me all the time with this serious look on his face,he saved me one time(if thats what you wanna call it)because I was walking and I wasn`t waching where I was going so I was about to bump into the wall then he said somthing to me then that made me look up,and his friend heeps on looking at me.So how do I figure out if he likes me without talking to him and can you give me information on how to tell if a boy likes you.
At your age, when a boy is acting the way you have described, it usually means that he likes you.
There's no way you can find out for sure without actually talking to him.
From now on, when you notice him staring at you, then stare back. When you get comfortable enough, smile at him when you see him staring.
Try to think of ways you can go out of your way to talk to him. For instance, ask him something about a class you two share, or something small like that.
The more you talk to him, and smile at him, the more you two will get comfortable with each other. Eventually one of you may even be comfortable enough to go past all the bullshit and actually ask each other out.

when shaving "down there" for females, is it normal for your skin to turn a dark color?
Your skin is already a darker color "down there" before you shave. It's just that you can now see it more clearly.

so my sister just got a mini doxen and my aunt is a groomer, is it true when it's fully grown, it will become a mean dog? are they good dogs?
Many dogs do have pre-set personality traits that coem from hundreds of years of breeding and inbreeding (full bred dogs are basically all inbred dogs)
Anyway, one trait that can come from a dachshund is aggression to strangers and other dogs.
This does not mean that every dachshund will become aggressive. This only means that you will need to begin socializing your puppy now. By showing her other dogs and tons of strangers early on, you will help her to become tolerant of other living things without flipping out.
I used to own a Rottweiler, they are supposedly aggressive to strangers, but my rotty was the nicest dog anyone had every met. But, my roommates own a Shiba Inu, which is a cute little 20 pound dog. He happens to be the meanest dog anyone has ever met.
I have also never met a Pit Bull that was mean to humans, and only two that were mean to other dogs. But Pit Bulls continuously get bad reputations because mean people breed them and raise them to be aggressive.
So, basically, your cute little dachshund is more likely to become aggressive than, say, a golden retriever, but that does not mean that she will automatically be aggressive. With the proper training and socialization, even the meanest dog breed can become the sweetest ever.

I have a BARELY three year old lactating mare. She just turned three two months ago. She was accidentally pasture bred when I bought her, and at the time, she didn't look pregnant. When she was pregnant with the foal, she looked healthy - but not pregnant. She had the filly right after her third birthday. The filly is healthy enough, but her dam isn't. My mare is constantly sweaty. She could be expected to look sweaty because it's summer, but this is unhealthy! She's sorrel, but during most daytime hours, she looks bay because she's so sweaty! She looks very sickly; she doesn't weigh enough, and has rain rot very bad. I'm treating the rain rot, so that's not a big problem, but I feed her 4 pounds of oats and sweet feed in the morning, 2 pounds at noon, and 4 pounds at night. She is not gaining any weight. I've been feeding her this much for over a month and a half and still nothing. She should look at least a little better by now. The filly looks very healthy, though she's very sweaty too. I think the filly's sweatiness can be attributed to all of her baby fur which is very thick and her being very dark colored. (She's going to be black when she sheds out; right now she's a dark dun color) My other mares and my colt are not nearly as sweaty. My bay mare is sweaty around her flank, my chestnut mare is sweaty around her throatlatch, and my chestnut colt is sweaty around his flank - but my lactating sorrel mare is sweaty all over her whole body. This mare is on a regular de-worming routine, she gets lots of clean water (I change the water daily), eats plenty, so I don't understand why she's so unhealthy looking and sweaty. Do you have any ideas or cures? Should I call the vet immediately? Thanks!
-FunnyCide
Dangernerd does sound like he might know what's he's talking about. The only problem is if it's only affecting these two horses, it's not as likely that it would be a bacteria that normally spreads to every horse in the area.
Normally, I would be able to help more with animals, but I'm not a horse expert, and haven't even yet taken the time to learn about colors yet. But, I do think that you should CALL the vet immediately. Like dangernerd pointed out, you can call and get free advice. Veterinarians are there to help the animals out, trust me, people in this field make surprisely little money, you would have to go into it for the love of the job, not the money.
So, if you call a Large animal veterinarian and tell them of your predicament, they will try to help you as much as possible.
Perhaps it's some kind of internal parasites, or bacteria. Perhaps if I had payed a little more attention to my clinical class last semester instead of lazily hanging out with a friend till four in the morning, then I would be able to tell you what it sounds like.
But, a Veterinarian is your best bet.

Right now, there is thunder and lightning outside and my dog is freaking out. He is a 2 year old Shih-tzu. I'm trying to calm him down by talking to him and cuddling him but he just keeps shaking and panting and crying. He is shaking so bad it's making this hard to type. Does anyone know of a good way to calm my dog down a bit more? I feel so bad that I can't do anything else for him. =(
First off, I want to say that I'm a Veterinary Technologist and have dealth with animal behaviorists many times.
Secondly, I want to say that I know before I type it that your going to say that my advice sucks, because it doesn't seem like it would help. But, trust me, I've had the education and experience to know that what I say will help you much more than what your doing right now.
What you need to do, next time there is a storm, is STOP CUDDLING AND TRYING TO CALM THE DOG DOWN. Sounds mean, but it really really isn't. When your dog gets upset, and you run to him, cuddle with him and tell him in a soothing voice that everything will be ok, you are basically telling him that he is supposed to act scared of the thunder.
In a dog's mind, if you are "praising him" then he is doing something correct, that means that if he's correctly afraid of the thunder, then it tells him that the thunder is something that he really should be afraid of.
What you need to do is act like nothing is going on. Don't just ignore your dog, but stay calm, don't let yourself become scared, because he will think that your also afraid of the thunder, giving him even more reason to be afraid. Just stay calm and act like you don't hear anything. Act just like you would if he wasn't afraid of something. Don't scold him of course, but act normal. Do not give him extra attention or talk to him soothingly and saying "it's ok, etc. etc."
Next time it thunders out, try this. I doubt you'll get the miracle results of him not being afraid anymore right away, but if you continue with this, he will get over his fear of thunder and will be much better off.

By the time people are around 20, do you recon they expect sex as part of a relationship?
It really depends on the person it is and what kind of relationship their looking for. I'm 22, I recently started dating a 24 year old, and we went into it as a non-sexual relationship. But, we also went into it with the idea of a long term relationship. That does help.
In my opinion, if an older guy is thinking about a relationship with a younger girl, he's not necessarily thinking about the possibility of staying with her forever. Rather, he'd be more likely thinking about the short term possibility of getting her into bed.
Thats just usually the harsh truth of it.

Hi my name is Britney and I am from North Carolina. For about 5 years DSS has been involved with my famliy. When I was 15 they removed me from my home and I havn't been back since but it wasn't the first time they removed me either. But now I live with a foster famliy and they are still on my back. Now I've got a bigger problem I think I'm pregant. I don't want DSS to find out but i know they will. So I am trying to become emancipated. I don't know how hard that will easy that will be I know the state laws and everything but I don't have a car or my license. I have a job though. What should i do???
Honestly, I'm not sure about this situation. I don't even really know why it would be bad for DSS to find out that you are pregnant. Plus, if you were 15 when you were removed, and it's been five years, then that would make you an adult, capable of making your own decisions and wouldn't need to become emancipated.
You don't really need your car or licence do you? A lot of people don't have cars. You can fix the license thing by learning how to drive and taking your test. If you have a job, and have been able to keep that job up until now, then you should have no problems keeping it further.
What do you know about the father? Is he going to be helping you at all? Does he even know? You need to think about getting help from him, if that is a possibility. I'm all for "I am woman, hear me roar, I don't need help from anyone, I can do everything on my own" but, if you can get help from a decent human being, then take it.
That may not be an option, or even a smart thing do to depending on the father and how "Decent" he is.
I'm not sure if I can help you with much of this. I think you should talk to MFS: http://advicenators.com/column.php?u=MFS He's smart and all that good junk, and would be more likely to be able to help you out than I can.

I need someone who is a vet/and or can help me.
I have 3 sick kittens coming to my house that need treatment for these problems -
Upper respitory infection
fleas *
eye infection *
possible earmites
My mother can treat ones with * next to them since she is a vet tec. No animal hospitals are open at this time and the SPCA wont take them in since they are too much to handle/care for. I dont need sarcastic remarks this seoncd and if your any help at all, I will give you a 5. Thank you, meg
This is a late answer, but I thought I'd give my response.
If your mother is a Veterinary Technologist, then she should know how to handle ear mites. Ear mites are extremely common in normal practice. I'm only a Vet Tech student and I've dealt with plenty of cats with ear mites at volunteer clinics that I've attended.
She simply needs to clean their ears with cotton or be carefull with Q-tips. There are store bought ear mite solutions, or use warm water and soap. Ear mites are not really an emergency and can stand to wait until they get to a Veterinarian.
For the Upper Respiratory infection, you can keep the cats as comfortable as possible until they can get some medicine. The most comfortable way for them to lay is on their stomach. This gives the least amount of pressure on their lungs, and will make it easier for them to breath.
I'm sort of guessing that even this problem isn't an emergency, since these cats have probably been dealing with the issue for a long time before coming to your home.
I also should add that there are always options for animal hospitals. There must be an emergency animal hospital somewhere in your state.

my dog is a 7 month old schnauzer, and he has been throwing up! he also has really bad hip problems. my dad keeps saying he will die really early. i am crying just typing this up. i dont want my puppie to die! does anyone have any helpful tips on how to cure throwing up? my mom said she gave him peptobismol... but he just threw up in my room so i dont know what to do! please help me fast!
i rate all fives!
Never give a dog human medicine. Your schnauzer is still a puppy and throwing up is a very serious thing. It's like having a small baby throwing up and doing nothing for him/her.
You can do nothing but bring your puppy to the veterinarian to get some advice or possible medicine. Your dog is throwing up for a reason and you can't just "cure" throwing up. You must cure whatever is causing him to throw up.
It could be parasites, internal injuries, or many other issues that are causing him to throw up.
If you have a full breed schnauzer, then you obviously have a bit of money to take care of him. You can't do anything for him except to take him tot he Veterinarian.
