You can prevent it by not dating someone who is such as asshole in the first place. She's your friend, why should he even care what she looks like?

Ugly people deserve friends too.

If your boyfriend is that shallow are you sure hes the one you want to spend your time with? I think there is only one way to find out, go out with your friend and her boyfriend. I hope he is polite and doesn't judge someone by their looks. Think how much more you will like him if that happens! :)

If your boyfriend does that tell him to stop being a fucker.
Simple as that, if he can't accept your friends then fuck him.

tell him before hand and tell him you don't wanna hear it cause you think its rude. if he really cares about you he'll shut up.

best of luck!

The only way to truly prevent it is to tell him that you're not/wouldn't be comfortable with him talking behind her back to you or to one of his friends. If he can't accept that, then it's up to you to decide what you're going to do . You can decide if he's the person you thought he was, or if he should just do it and all. Your comfortability is everything. Hope I was some help and have a nice day.
