So, last night (Around 1:30 in the morning?) my boyfriend and I had sex and whatnot. We used a condom and all, but it ripped. I don't know if he realized it at first, so I don't know if he got his sperm inside of me or not, but I'm reallllly paranoid. We've had sex a few times before without a condom but he swears he pulled out before anything happened. I have no idea what to do, I'm really scared. Should I go get an ECP? I'm not sure when I was supposed to get my period but I was expecting it sometime this weekend/week. Any advice you can give me us greatly appreciated.. Please help? :/..
Like the answer below said, get yourself tested. All I wanted to add was regarding the unprotected sex. Be careful with that since there is no way he could have known that he pulled out "before anything happened". Precum, which is secreted at all stages of sex and arousal, is perfectly capable of making you pregnant. It really does not have to be from the orgasm as such.
There really isnt anything more to say other than that you should check and play it safe.

It cant really be compared to the hard drugs. What it mainly does is to dull your senses. However, once you stop the effects are reversed as far as I know and experienced.
There is no physical addiction, except of course if one uses tobacco to mix into the stuff. However, the mental addiction (which comes about because u like the high feeling) can be a problem. It varies a lot from person to person. Some people can smoke occasionally and others cant. For me it was a huge problem, one that I could not control in the least. During the time I smoked, Im embarrased to say I even went to my university exams stoned.
Anyway, the short answer to your question is "no". No effects like acid or heroin. However people's views on pot tend to fall into either the camp that treats it like a "hard" drug, and those that say its totally ok. Neither are correct in my opinion.

Well, as a former smoker, I can say that you have your work cut out for you.
First of all, I am not too sure about the advice that tells you to hide/throw away her smokes. I know that when I was a kid I tried something similar with my mom and got into loads of trouble. Also if someone had tried that with me when i smoked I probably would have kicked their ass (Im embarassed to say).
Anyway, talking to her is of course a must. With smokers the best you can do is gentle persuasion. Come accross too forcefully and believe me, it makes you want to smoke to relieve the stress.
If you havent smoked it is very very hard to comprehend the extent of the addiction (it varies from person to person a bit of course). You cannot expect your mom to just quit. It doesnt matter how many facts you lay out. You have to be patient and supportive.
Even now, 3 years or so after quiting, I get almost irresistable urges to smoke when I smell a cigarrette across a room. When I quit I practically didnt sleep for a week. My hands were shaking, people thought I had come down with a sickness of some kind. I am only mentioning this so you understand what your mom is up against.
As for things you can buy (like nicorette etc), they could work. My mom quit using them, but they dont work on everyone. The most important thing is to come to terms mentally with quiting. I actually dont recommend that you just push your mom to quiting tomorrow for instance. Its sort of like running a marathon (but where the preparation is purely mental).
In the end, let her know how much you care for her. Let her know the risks she is taking (gently... very gently), and let her know you are there for her if she decides to quit.
I have really bad love handles. What is a way to get rid of them?
The link offered in the first advice is good. Unfortunately, because they want to seem as though they are sharing some sort of revelation with their readers, they could have presented what they are saying a bit better.
The answer to all these types of questions is: Fat loss cannot be spot reduced (i.e. targetted to an area), therefore the only answer is eating right and exercising in general. Thats why that link tells you to do cardio. The picture of the person doing those side crunch things is of far less importance.
So, crunches alone are a waste of time really. They will build some muscle under the fat and, at most, tighten it up a bit. To get rid of your love handles you can only try to lose weight overall and wait until your body chooses to remove fat from that area.
In my opinion the best exercise for fat burn is a combination of weight training and cardio.

I really want to work on trimming down my legs (mostly my thighs). What are some work outs that will help me with that?
This really needs to be posted somewhere on this site... you cannot spot reduce fat. This means that working out your legs will in no way whatsoever get rid of the fat stored on them.
You can lose weight overall or not at all. So, it follows that the best way to slim down your legs is exercise in general and eating right. For best results I would recommend a weight training and cardio routine. The order the fat is removed in is then decided by your body.
How can I boost my matabilisum or however you spell it
Resistance training is the best exercise to boost the metabolism (i.e. things like weights at the gym). Cardiovascular exercise tends only to boost it for shorter periods of time. Also, with either kind, variation in your exercise routine is also important (changing intensity levels, duration etc).
Now, apart from that, eat very often. Eating 4-6 meals a day (i.e. every 3 to 4 hours) is one of the most effective things you can do. It tells the body there is plenty of food and it keeps your metablism going. Your meals should be small and balanced (containing carbs, protein and fat in the right proportions). Your calorie consumption should be divided relatively equally amongst these meals (so no meal should be much bigger or smaller than the others). Also drink a lot of water.

I think the past is very important. The past makes the present and one can learn a lot from it. So, I think one should know and, more than that, I think one should judge a person on what they have done- good or bad.
That being said you should have come to terms with the possibilities ahead of time. Since you were obviously taken a bit by surprise, you will need to evaluate how important the news is to you now. I am not going to preach one way or another (some people will tell you that it only matters that she loves you now, others might say that she has/had dubious morality). You need to sit yourself down and ask yourself "how does this information change my perception of my girlfriend?"
Perhaps she gave you the impression she was innocent, and now you know it was a lie. Alternatively perhaps she just never touched upon her past so as not to make you uncomfortable (but no deception was involved).
Deal with this matter as logically as possible. Structure your thoughts and emotions and try to understand why you are feeling what you are feeling. Did you expect something else? if so why? is it only the insecurity that is bothering you or is it her past behaviour directly?
I think its good you found out. I have never believed in the "I dont want to know" line of thinking. Facing the truth is often hard, but at least you will know that what you have afterwards is far more real than what you had before.

I turned vegetarian a couple of weeks ago. Just today I woke up with a really high fever, and I feel like i'm going to throw up.
Is my body going into shock or something?

Well it probably is unrelated to being a vegetarian. However, it might be ok to assess your diet whether or not it has anything to with it. Make sure that you are intaking the right proportions of nutrients (this applies to vegetarians and meat eaters alike actually).
Being a vegatarian (except those psycho frutarian guys) does not neccessarily imply a diet particularly low on protein or anything. So try to determine if, by turning vegetarian, you have accidentally neglected parts of your diet.
Can you gain your metabolism back? I recently stopped being anorexic and I want my metabolism to be high again.
Apart from the exercise, and I mean mainly weights or some other form of resistance training, eat often. Plan your meals so you eat 4 to 6 per day- so ideally every 3 to 4 hours. Ok, essentially what you need is:
1- A disk with the operating system you are using (presumably Windows)
2- One or more disks with all the drivers for your computer (graphics card, net card etc). Presumably that is what the "installing dell" CD has. If you dont have this they can be retrieved from the internet, but that can be a bit annoying.
3- As the person before me said, backup copies of everything you want to keep.
When you are ready, just put the windows cd in the drive, instruct the computer to boot from it (in the BIOS) and just follow the instructions.

It is very unlikely you have anything. In general, rabies is not what you should be worrying about. That disease is practically non existant, and in a dog that has had shots the risk should be pretty much zero.
There are however other things that can be passed on through biting (and I dont mean just dogs here, human bites can actually be worse). When I got bitten by dogs when I was a kid they gave me a tetanus shot. However, I was chewed on like a rag doll. In your case, I really doubt there is anything to worry about. However, if you want to make sure, have a doctor look at it.

Limewire is like a tool. Its only illegal if you use it in an illegal way (such as downloading music or videos that are copyrighted). Its no different than using a power drill to crack open a safe. There is nothing illegal about the power drill, only the way it was used in that instance.
As for getting caught, it is possible but not very likely. The highest risk groups are those that share files. If you download but dont share, it is less likely that you will be caught.

Rarely do I answer a question only to repeat what others already said. However I concur, go and see a doctor. There is no reason to let a possible infection become a problem.
By the way, you can tell if you stabbed a vein or an artery by the colour of the blood (the blood from the veins is much darker than the bright red arterial blood... at least if I remember my biology correctly).
Here is the deal.. Lately I've been thinking alot about if god is real or not.. I don't know if I should believe it.. I mostly think that life was created by mostly scientific reasons.. The bible could really be made up from along long time ago..Nobody really knows right? Has anybody ever been touched by god? If I do not believe in god what would I be?
There are a number of issues to consider where religion is concerned. You are looking at it from a Christian point of view, which is fair enough. By "God" you mean the Christian God.
One of the main problems with religion (aside from the fact that they offer no proof whatsoever) is that they conflict with one another. In small ways or great ways they preach a different story, with a different set of morals etc. So, the question is not just "is there a God?" but if so... which one?
Coincidentally people that are raised within a certain religious culture tend to "know" that their religion is the right one. They also tend to have religious experiences that coincide with the religion practiced in their geographical region... odd isnt it?
As for the bible, as a historical document it is not particularly valuable. Many of the accounts are second and third hand (people who heard from people) etc. I am not trying to belittle anyone's faith, only evaluating the book as a historian would evaluate an independent text.
Now, if you truly don't believe in God, or rather if you truly believe that there is no God, then you are an ashiest. I myself am an agnostic (one who acknowledges that we simply do not know i.e. there isnt enough evidence to prove or disprove the existence of a deity or other supernatural power).
I just want to make one last point on science and life. How life was created is unknown of course. However, never mistake the unknown as proof of something. Often religious arguments point to that which we do not understand and use it as some sort of proof. People fear the unknown, and they want all the answers right now. The more science discovers, the less is attributed directly to God (such as for example the way primitive cultures might think thunder comes about due to God's anger).
We may never have all the answers. However, making any sort of conclusions in the absence of the appropriate evidence is unwarranted in my opinion.

Just click on the muscle you are interested in. The explanation is usually very detailed and illustrated, so you shouldnt have any trouble there.
I do want to point out, and forgive me if you already know this, that you cannot spot reduce fat (you cannot target fat loss to an area of the body). I am guessing that this is what you are after since the exercises are so specific. You can only target muscle build up thats all.

For me its no different than what people have generally said... longish hair and natural make-up. I think most of my friends,if not all, would have the same opinion.

If i ran on the tredmill 20 minutes everyday how much weight would I loose? I wanna loose like 15-20 lbs before the summer, so by like june. Do you think its possable. What else can i do to help?

If you mean by the beginning of June, then no way. You should not even be trying to get close to that figure. It is not healthy to lose more than 2 pounds a week, and even there I have read more conservative recomendations. Remember also that your body will start digesting your muscles if you push yourself too hard (and eat too little). That is the kind of weight loss no one wants.
Running 20 mins or 2 hours is not conclusive on its own in regards to weight loss. Its the negative calorie balance that you create. So, your diet has to be under control.
For best results eat about 500 calories less than you burn (this is where exercise comes in of course). Eat many small frequent balanced meals (4-6 per day), drink plenty of water, cut down on saturated fats/ sugar/ junk food in general, and eat a fair amount of protein.
I would recommend some weight training on the side if you have the time (it boosts your metabolism), but if all you want to do is run then that is just fine. Just make sure you have a healthy diet that gives the body all the nutrients it needs, yet with a small calorie deficit.

Necessary for what purpose? There are different goals you might have. If you are talking how you look in a bikini for example then you might want to trim. If you mean from a sexual point of view (as in do guys expect you to be shaved?) then there is no right or wrong. Some guys like it one way, other guys like it another way.
So, my advice is for you to do exactly what you feel most comfortable with. There are no set norms on this matter. Some go shaved others natural.
