The answer to all these types of questions is: Fat loss cannot be spot reduced (i.e. targetted to an area), therefore the only answer is eating right and exercising in general. Thats why that link tells you to do cardio. The picture of the person doing those side crunch things is of far less importance.
So, crunches alone are a waste of time really. They will build some muscle under the fat and, at most, tighten it up a bit. To get rid of your love handles you can only try to lose weight overall and wait until your body chooses to remove fat from that area.
In my opinion the best exercise for fat burn is a combination of weight training and cardio.

Also, keep in mind, that genetics take a huge part in the amount of weight you can lose and what you can look like. But, doing 20 crunches in the morning and at night will make a huge difference and make you feel better!

I have love handles too. Every girl does. A really good way to lose them is swimming. That's one of the only healthy way that I heard from friends, family, and Doctors. So I wish you the best of luck! [ VBabi13's advice column | Ask VBabi13 A Question ]
