a thing on ebay

Question Posted Sunday May 14 2006, 12:23 pm

i have a question about ebay. i was looking at this thing that i really wanted to buy and the price said it was 'EUR 11.40'

i assumed that eur means euros and thats likee .. not american money or whatever. anyway, when i clicked on the item it said the starting bid was 7.99 and there were 0 bids.

does that mean it will cost more when i translate that into american dollars? im very confused. please help me out with this whole ebay thing.

I am not entirely sure if I understand what you are asking but I think you want the exchange rate right?

Anyway, 1 euro is about 1.3 USD. So that would make 11.4 euros somewhere between 14.5 and 15 US dollars.
