Ok, my gramma has cancer and shes dying. We dont think she will make it until Christmas. I have a big family, and we are all very close, so it's a sad thing. But for some reason, i just dont feel sad. I feel guilty, it feels like i dont care. I know i do care, but i dont feel sad. It seems like everyone else is sad except me. Am i like a bad person? Don't feel guilty. Everyone handles this kind of news differently.
When you think about it, your attitude is pretty good to have. Your grandma probably doesn't need a bunch of people moping when she isn't even gone yet. Make the most of your time with her and save the sadness for when shes gone. :)

Seems to me he just has a need to show hes superior. Has a big ego. Doesn't mean he may not like you, but I don't think its flirting. :)

well on monday this guy told my friend that he liked me. i really really like him to. my face lights up and it just makes my day when he calls. sometimes i wait up all night for him to call, but when he does its totally worth it. anyways, tuesday after school i was talking to my friend paul. I told him that I like ryan. Its kind of a secret, but I think ryan already knows. So on the phone yesterday ryan really wanted to know what the secret was. I said to guess. He guessed that i liked him. Well that is the secret, but I was really stupid and said that it wasn't the secret. I really want to tell him because then mabye he will ask me out. More than likely it will just come natural to you. There really isn't a wrong way to do it!

uhm, i am kind of confused here. it has been a week of this great guy being really sweet and nice. Maybe you answered and read my question about "does he like me?" well basically he always offers me his jacket so i can be warm and he meets me after a couple classes, and yesterday he gave me a hug the whole time we talked (like we were hugging and having a conversation at the same time. And he got dumped 2 weeks ago. I am thinking that this is maybe why he hasnt me out yet. That is fine; I can wait because he is worth it. ok hey, question for the girls. How would you feel if your boyfriend did something like this for you on Xmas. (by the way i am the male not the female lol) I get 2 roses, and put each in their own wrapped box. Ill say "when this rose dries up and dies, i will love you more," then give her the box and let her unwrap the first rose. then say "when this rose dries up and dies, you will love me more," then give her the box and let her open it. Then i will take a third box and say "when this rose dries up and dies, i will STOP loving you." and she will open the box, and it will be a glass rose. You don't necessarily need the first two either, the glass one would be plenty. But whichever way you do it I think it is sweet. Very original too!

i dont get this well i never take in more then 2000 callories a day more like 1000-1500 but like im putting on weight!!! the only way i lose any is if i dont eat for a day or i have no breakfast no lunch and like a salad for dinner which i have sometimes! but i dont get it.
i did lose about half a stone last year im 51.6kg and 5'2 btw im almost 15 if that helps x x x (link)

Its not necessarily the calorie intake that causes weight gain/loss.
A lot has to do with what it is you are eating. If it is something high in fat then it is going to cause weight gain.
Eat normally, watch portion size and exercise. You will be much better off. Avoid high fat content foods, watch the candy and sugar, avoid sodas. :)

I'm not sure exactly what I should or even can do for my cousin. I'm 19/f and he's 17/m and we were really close growing up, almost like brother and sister. I knew a while ago that he smoked pot and I've been telling him to stop and everything, but I had no idea how bad it really was. Last night we had a really long conversation online (we live 4 hours away now) and I guess he smokes enough to get "the shakes" after 2 days of not having any. I had no idea he smoked that much, I thought he only did it every so often. He also told me that he cuts and that he's attempted suicide on and off since he was FIVE YEARS OLD! I don't think that he would really go through with it, but it's so scary to know that he's thinking that seriously about it. He started smoking really heavily when he broke up with his girlfriend. She cheated on him and then dumped him because he didn't trust her anymore. He says that pot is all that is keeping him alive since then. His parents divorced when he was really young and his father has been married two times since and is now going through his third divorce. My cousin lives with his mother and her second husband which have a very bad influence on him. They live a really horrible lifestyle and abuse him by giving their own children more priviledges, making him babysit, and not allowing him to have certain things around the house like soda or peanut butter. He's been through a lot of relationships, some since the girl I mentioned before and he's far from a virgin. Our family has treated him like crap since he was born and they have such high expectations for him especially because he's the fourth of his name. They all love him though, especially me and I hate to see this happening to him. I'm really glad that he was honest with me, but I'm so worried about him. What can I do to help him? I've talked to him and tried to encourage him and I don't know if it's working. I hate to see this happen to someone I care so much about. Any advice at all would be wonderful. Sorry it's so long. I can't imagine the amount of weed you'd have to smoke to get the shakes.
You sure he doesn't drink or is in to a different drug? You better stay after him about that because I'm not sure you have the whole story yet.
The best thing he can do right now is get into a detox and rehab program. If the parents don't see whats happening or would just be in denial, find another adult to let know what is going on.
You being 19 could probably take him to any emergency room and they could get him in a program. Doctors office, whatever. He needs more help than you can give him on your own.

ok...i went out with this guy for alittle over 2 months and little did i know he was talkin 2 another girl on the phone and he was lettin her wera his hoodie at school...well his friends FINALLY told me but they waited til the day we broke up to tell me..he was bein told that i was with my ex bf all the time and i wasnt i dont care for my ex anymore...i really care 4 him and i kinda wanna be wit him ya kno...i kinda felt like he was talkin 2 sumbody else but wen i asked him he told me he would never do me wrong and that he cared about me to much and all and he lied to me about her it was like one excuse after another...well that weekend at a football game i dressed up all cute to get his attention and my cousins friend was there and he walked with me and i think it made him jealous...he told my friend we was goin 2 get back 2gether but he needed to think so im givin him his space...he told me that he wanted to talk to me all tha time and see me whenever he could but he hasnt put much effort to it ya kno...i really like him and want us to get back 2gether so what do i do? First you need to have a long talk with him.
Let him know that the rumors about you and your ex are totally false. You both need to learn to trust each other and keep the friends out of your personal business. Not that you shouldn't have friends, but someone is spreading the rumors and I doubt its a stranger.
Make sure if something comes up again that either of you wonder about, you can ask each other and get it straightened out. :)

is this normal? i mean ive only been smoking for about 3 months.. im not on 20 day.. im not even on 5 a week... more like 2 a week, it takes me about 2/3 weeks to get through a pack of 10.
could some one tell me why im feeling dizzy when i smoke?

If you don't smoke much and you get dizzy when you do thats normal. Your body is reacting to the nicotine.
If you had a really bad addiction to the things you wouldn't get dizzy. :)

No sense denying it. If you continue with school they will notice soon enough. If your parents don't know...tell them. Don't let mom hear about it at the grocery store.
I would definitely ask the person who you told why they thought they had to betray your trust.
That isn't even a nice thing to do. I wouldn't trust them with any other info anytime soon. Let them know that too. :)

ive lived with my grandparents for 13 years and just a few months ago i moved in with my mom and her boyfriend. i REALLY miss living with my grandparents and i feel like my moms trying to take me away from them. sometimes ill ask my mom if i can stay the night with my grandparents and she says no. we fight and argue every single night and im so sick and tired of it. i cry myself to sleep everynight because of her and her boyfriend. her b/f is so rude to me too. i try to talk to her about this but every time i try we get in another argument. i talk to my grandparents about it and they undersatnd but they dont know what to do. i just cant stand living with my mom and her boyfriend. if anyone can tell me what i can do besides talk to my mom please help me. If you could come up with a good reason, your grandparents could petition the courts for custody of you.
You don't say why you spent so much time with the grandparents to begin with, but since they have already taken care of you in the past, it should be easy enough if you have a good enough reason to want to do that. :)

He must have some feelings for you or he wouldn't be hanging around when hes obviously getting nowhere.
I wouldn't give in if you want to keep him around. Its perfectly okay to like the guy, even go out with him...just don't play the game.
Sooner or later you should be able to tell if he is serious or just after whatever he can get. :)

I think if you like each other you should stay in contact.
I don't know that the time is right for a romantic relationship, that is something you will have to decide on for yourself.
You need to remember that if he is JUST divorced, he may not be looking for a long term relationship right at the moment.
You will want to make sure he is ready for that before you get to deeply involved. Don't want to be the infamous "rebound" relationship. :)

There's this guy I know, and well, let's call him *Andrew* . I talked to *Andrew* like ONCE. and all i ever said was if he was a sophomore and he's like yea. So that's it. So anyways, i have myspace and i found him on there and i was like HEY! OMGGG! and i was like hey i talked to you like once and stuff and hes like ohh yea i remember you. But before i ever sent him that message, i heard he was having this halloween party. So anyways, i kinda see him like almost everyday. He's in my P.E period and when i walk out of English i see him around. But ever since i sent him that message, we've talked about like random things. And everytime he sees me he either smiles,tapps me on the shoulder and wave or just waves. (I KNOW RIGHT!! GREAT..) But the problem is that i asked him what he was doing for halloween and hes just like uhhhhh ..well..ima C if theres a party i can go to..
UGHH! he didn't even have the nerve to tell me that HE was having a party. I mean, it wasn't like i was just talking to him to get invite me to the party! Now im a person who just doesn't give a flying f***. But somehow this just hurt me. I mean we've been talking just like i guess normal friends. But he could've just told me that he was having the party and i wouldn't care if i got invited. But its at the point that im about to cry. Not because i didn't get invited.But just because he couldn't be a man and tell me the truth. And i guess you can say i kinda liked him. But i dunno. Should i just forget about this? And why do guys do this?! Since you don't know each other real well I would just keep doping what you're doing. So long as hes communicating in some way with you there's a chance with him.
Maybe the party got cancelled, maybe a it was a rumor to begin with. You just never know for sure.
You could just ask him about it but then that might seem you are hinting for an invite.
I would just keep on as you are and get to know him better. :)

This morning my dad got angry at me. The reason isn't really important. He threw the waffle that was eating at my shirt and got butter all over me. I was upset because he had the nerve to throw a waffle at me, and also because I was excited to wear the outfit that I had picked out to school. I started crying and I couldn't stop. Keep in mind that I have my period now. I was still crying when I got out of the car, and still crying when I was in homeroom. Of course, everyone was staring at me and wondering why my eyes were all puffy. My teacher suggested I go to the nurse, so I did and stayed there for half of first period. I was really happy by the time I was surrounded by my friends. First of all, I felt like an idiot because the people in my homeroom knew how upset I was in the morning, and then saw me laughing my head off with my friends two periods later. I just feel so stupid and I can't for the life of me understand why I was crying so much!! I know I have my perios, but I've never got PMS this severe before!! HELP PLEASE!! Oh yes the dreaded PMS. I remember it well.
I am such a mellow person that growing fangs once a month was torture. Totally unlike me.
Luckily I only had it one day a month, if I had it at all.
It was always little things that set me off too. Don't let it bother you to much. Joke about it so others don't get to offended by it and you will be fine.
