ok. well i live here in a town called fresno. fresno is a town of really down to earth, cool people. most people aren't really wealthy, which means theres hardly any stuck up snobby people etc.
well.. now im moving to the town next to fresno, called clovis. and clovis is a really nice town. home to people living in MILLION dollar homes. a lot of wealthy people living in that town. so.. theres definetly gonna be snobby rich b**tches there.. and i dont mix well with those kinds of people. meaning, i dont like them lol.
i dont totally have anything aginst them tho, thats just not the type of people i like to hang with or be around..
so of coarse. im going to the school there called buchanan. so like.. im really worried that im not going to make friends because i dont care for rich snobbs which is mainly what the school is made of.

You are generalizing a group of people that might actually not be snobs. Give them a chance. Ask them about their hobbies, music, sports, or other interests. I am sure you will find someone you will like to hang out with among hundreds of people. Just be yourself and be friendly.

My very best friend in the whole wide world died about 5 years ago, and I still miss her. I spoke to a psychiatrist to help me out some. I went to church. I tried very hard to stay busy with other things. It takes a lot of time to be comfortable with the death of someone close to you, especially if it is unexpected. You will always remember her, but try to think of the good stuff. It hurts a little, but she would want you to go on and live your life to the fullest.

I use Spermicidal condoms. Everytime after I have sex it seems liek I'll end up with a yeast infection. I heard your suppose to "pee" before and right after sex. I do that and still I end up with a yeast infection more times than not. Do you think its the spermicide on the condoms or maybe an allegy to latex? If any1 else has had this problem what type of condom do you perfer? Thank You so much for your time!
Anytime you mess with the little bacteria that hang out in your vagina, you run the risk of a yeast infection or other unhappy and uncomfortable results. I would see a doctor about the yeast infection in case it is something else. It supposedly does help to pee after sex. Before doesn't matter. You could try just switching brands, and that might help. There are other types of condoms for those allergic to latex, but they are not as good as blocking STDs.

I apologize if this ends up being really long, but I thought I'd ask.
I've been friends with this girl, we'll call her Sabrina, since the 8th grade. We grew to be really close really fast and ended up going to the same high school. That's kind of a big deal since we live in Chicago and most kids separate after grade school.
Anyway, we remained best friends up until I had a tough time in early 2003 and ended up dropping out of school. We lost contact up until a couple of months ago. The fact that we didn't keep in touch is pretty much my fault. I apologized for it, she appears to have forgiven me and we started hanging out again.
Sabrina is 18 now and recently moved in with her boyfriend because she was unhappy living with her mom. Only, now that she lives with her boyfriend, he wants to maintain complete control of her life, including who she hangs out with.
He told her she wasn't allowed to hang out with me anymore and she's actually obliging him.
I don't know if I should just deal with it and talk to her whenever I can, or if I should just let her know we shouldn't be friends at all anymore or what! I'm pretty hurt. Any advice would be appreciated and I will rate everyone who responds. Thanks.
You may be the only contact she has with the world outside her relationship. Eventually he will do something that will push her away hopefully. You can try to tell her what you think is going on, and that he is abusing her. If there is anyone else you can tell about this that she would listn to, tell them. Its no fun living with someone who won't let you be yourself, and sometimes you are so "in love" that you don't see it or the way out.

Why do so many people use teenbonics and 7334? I do not understand. Teenbonics are generally used by the under-18 group (usually... not always...) and are frustrating for people to read sometimes. Especially if English is not the person's first language. 7334 or leet (short for elite) speak is just as obnoxious. It was originally used by hackers to talk about their... "jobs" in chats and forums so they would not be caught. Is it really so hard to type a few more letters? You is only two more letters than "u" and "lyk" is one letter short of being the proper form, like. Anyone else annoyed by teenbonics? Is there any polite way to correct people (especially friends) who use teenbonics? I know not everyone is perfect... a few capitalization or spelling etc. errors are fine. Constant abuse of the English language is wrong.
Do you mean there is a word for all of this madness? I am starting to wonder if any of these people have even set foot in English class or read anything besides chatspeak. The best you can do is to keep your language and grammar as correct as possible, and to encourage your friends and future children to do the same.

hey i moved and b4 i moved me and this guy are talking and we kinda have a long distance relationsjip but it's nothing official. he's leaving for the airforce in 5 days and will be stationed 3 hours from me rather than the 14 it has been. should we go ahead and make it official or w/e or see other people. it tears me apart that i cant see him..cuz i like him SO much..lol im sucha dork
Three hours isn't terribly far away, yet far enough. Surely he has some leave every few weeks or so. Keep in mind that due to the nature of his occupation, he will always be moving somewhere. If you can hack that, stay. If you can't, get out before you make yourself miserable.

I chose the IUD for birth control. I haven't had sexual intercorse for more than 4 months, but I feel irretation and burning inside of my vagina like I'm always hot below. There's no discharge or odor. My pap came back normal in July 04 and my IUD is in the correct place. I thought it could have been a yeast infection so I used 3 day monostat cream. I was fine for a few days, then it was back. Can you help me find a answer to this question?
I would seek a health professional. Sometimes you get itching with another infection called bacteriosis. This infection left untreated could make you sterile. Also, the IUD itself is designed to irritate the vagina to keep an egg from attaching. You might just need a break from it or something. Please see a dr. or gynecologist.

ok this is wicked embarassing but im a 14 year old boy and im not alot like my friends. i get scared wicked easily. i hate it! i hav panick attax wen im outside in the dark.after i saw the movie The Village(which sucked) i couldnt get those creatures out of my head and ive had a hard time sleeping ever since. wen me and my friend saw it i kept grabbing the arms on the seat(not his arms of course} and he kept asking me if i was feeling ok and he sed that my face was all white and harfly ever blinked. i just wanna no how i can stop being afraid so that wen i c a scary movie w/ a girl im not the one huddled up againstt her
You might want to seek a little help there. Maybe its just a growing up thing, I don't know. The more movies you see the less scared most people get. You just seem a little over anxious which might be stemming from an anxiety disorder. Maybe you should pay a visit to your school counselor for some quick tips.

It's Kevin1986 here with a problem and a couple of questions. I'm friends with two guys,let's say D and J. J used to go out with a girl that I'm very close with,but not dating,although I'd like to. He's pretty obessive,talking about her all the time. Anyway,D used to like her too and they almost went out,but they had a falling out. About a year ago,a new guy,M,goes out with her. I don't care about M and neither do they. J and D want me to tell M that the girl he's going out with is a headtrip because their relationships with her didn't work. I say,it's his bed and it's job to determine whether his girl is crazy or not. I say D and J want me out of the way so they can get her,because I know she'd hate me forever if I tried to break up her relationship. Since I care about her,I want her to be happy even if it's not with me. Your thoughts on this issue? P.S I never really considered telling M this,but I want your opinions on what the real story is.
D and J are just being weird. I think that they are in the "If I can't have her, then no one can have her." mode. I can't believe they are both doing this. I would absolutely stick with the not telling M. D and J need to turn their attentions somewhere else.

ok my cuzin is 21 we r really close...he had a 19 yr old gf of 3 yrs....and she was really close to him...we went to get him situated for college a yr ago and it was far away frum his house and he missed his gf so bad he moved back...i mean...they wer just incredibly close...well sh got really posesive and weird on him so they broke up recently....she wont even speak to him now...hes called and she wont answer n everything...he even went to her house and she wasnt home and she had a box in the trash that he noticed and it was ALL the letters they wrote to eachother, the diamond ring he bought her, stufed animals, etc...he took the box home and hes really depressed...the bad thing is hes goin to anothr college now far away and shes goin ther too....hes really upset...hes lost wieght and everything...is ther nething i could do to help him?? =(
College is so much bigger than high school, and there is so much more to do. He may not even see her while he is there. Just drop him a line now and then and ask how he is doing. There isn't that much you can do. You might ask him if he would take you to the football games every once in a while to see how he is doing. Hopefully, it will pass soon.

All these answers are great. I would always have a pair of eyeglasses close by in case you dropped your lens on the floor, or they were being particularly annoying that day. I would recommend cleaning them and putting them on in the bathroom because you can recover your dropped lenses easier.

Okay i have my bf of 4 years you all know this if you answerd one of my questions before and all but anyway...
I love him to death but there are times where he really frustrates me like today he wanted to see me and i had things to do and same with yesterday hes like you made plans with me and i never did hes really bad at forgetting things too...but he gets really selfish on things all the time like wanting too see me..well me i have dance and soccer practice and house stuff that i do all the time and i still try and make time for him but when i have littel things that come up he gets pissed when i think that he should really just understand that these things can come up...What advice would you give me to give him beside the things i already say to him like love goes fonder when not together i mean yeah you miss the person but for me i love him more nd more every second and everything and there are times when i like to just be by myself in my room and not have him here...what do you think i should tell him besides the things that i already tell him?

4 years! Tell the control freak goodbye or you will be miserable forever. If he won't respect your time or "forgets," then he should be a little less selfish, and let you have the time you need. I would consider a "break" with him at the least. You are in danger of being horded to himself so that you don't even have room to breathe.

okay... i need to read another book for high school. it's my first year (i'm a freshman) and i'm enrolled in CP Humanities... i've already read my first book and i've completed my journal entry that we needed to do for it... i'm supposed to read another book. it has to be a novel and more than 150 pages long i'd actually prefer it to be 200 or more pages long does anyone have a good suggestion on a book??? no harry potter books... i hate them and it HAS to be a NOVEL any suggestions?? i start on the 5th... i think i can read a 300 page book in 2 days so just give me ANYTHING to read! i need good suggestions!
If you can get a copy of the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, its really great. I read it really fast. It may stretch your religious tolerances if you are Catholic however.

Ihave areally hard time falling asleep at night night. Iget all nervous about murderer's breaking in, and it really scares me! I know thiz soundz childish, but does anyone have any advice on how to fall asleep quicker and it would help if you had advice on how to be calmer and not think every little noise in the night is someone breaking in.
The TV works sometimes, but every once in a while there is a interesting show that I just HAVE to watch. My boyfriend uses his discman. Be sure that you haven't eaten too close to bed, and a nice hot bath helps to calm my nerves sometimes.
You could think of a phrase of music or spoken word that you can repeat over and over again until you fall asleep. I also like lighting some incense occasionally and smelling it helps you breathe deeper and more relaxing breaths.

My parents are both very picky and will argue about anything!!! Yesterday i was bathing my hamster in the sink and he got away! I had to up all the doors with towels and the whole place was a mess. And he was scared so he left behind droppings! And this was in my parents bathroom too. So, i cleaned it all up and now i see that my parents are fighting so, i take my hamster back to his cage and i had already cleaned up the droppings but i didn't put all the towels and soaps and washcloths away. My mom walks into the bathroom... and then she blames my dad for the mess. I have caused a huge problem. And i can't even try to tell her it was me cause they locked themselves in their room and they sitting there yelling and bickering at each other. I feel terrible because it was not my dad's fault and he is getting the blame! Help!!!
Don't feel bad. When they get out, tell them it was you and that you are sorry. They may just have needed to vent. Sometimes its not about what is really happening, but all of the stuff they had been carrying around all day or longer. Arguing isn't always bad. They still care about each other. I wouldn't worry too much unless they are throwing things at each other or calling each other horrible things. It will blow over.

Hey, i've been going out with my boyfriend for about 8 months now and we both are 17. I don't really know his parents that well and i always just see them past and go. Like when we go to church and stuff. That's about the only time i ever see his parents and he's all the time hangin out with my family and going out to dinner and all. I've never once hung out with him and his family together sense we've been going out. The deal is.. when we started going out his parents said that he was changing like acting diff, his attitude *in a bad way* :/ and he didn't want to do anything around the house anymore. Well, his parents are really.. strict okay. So they called my parents up not even knowing me or my parents! And said there son was changing and all and they didn't want him to have a gf until he was 18! :-/ Well, this was like at the beginning of the year well everying has been fine sense then but just this past month they have been saying it again and they are telling him to break up with me.. :/? Is it me or what!? They don't even know me. We Love each other so much and we both are old enough to date and all.. but his parents are so freakin weird! I don't know what to do anymore. I've delt with so much sense i've been with him. I feel like an old married couple fighting with his parents about stupid stuff! :/ Maybe i should just be friends with him and see how things go on later.. i don't know. Can some one help me please! :(
Oh ick. I hate it when they do that. All I can say is try to be really nice around them. You may not be able to anything about them at all. If possible, I would try to invite them for dinner, and ask them why they feel that way. It may be because they don't know you very well.
Try to get past the parent thing, but you gotta remember if it gets any more serious, you inherit these people as your in-laws.
I remember trying to address the complaint by helping my boyfriend in class (they claimed I was the reason his grades were so bad). I spent way too much time telling him how his parents were wrong. I think I was wrong in trying to put him in the middle. He is already probably feeling bad about it. Talk about something else, and let him make up his mind. Maybe if it falls through you could still be friends.
