I agree 100% of it. Advice is advice and it is given when asked for. I give it and I leave it at that. It's up to the questioner/advice seeker to take it.


:.That point leads onto my philosophies in advice giving:
1. Advice is given when asked and no time else, unless your friend is about to irritate a black bear, then you should definitely advice your friend to back away and run for his or her life.
2. Advice is not critical, not judgmental, and definitely not biased. Advice is advice and should remain neutral.
3. Advice is to help, not to get 5s on every answer. As a result, my advice ends up being quite blunt and frank with a hint of rambling mixed in.

Okay well i heard of these people only excercising and hour a day but losing weight eating cereal, fruit, and orange juice for beakfast, then for a snack like yogurt, then lunch like a healthy sandwich, then a snack in the afternoon like peanuts, and low fat chees or something n crackers, and then for dinner some steamed chicken....but only an hour of excercise wont cover that...

The key to losing weight is exercise AND a healthy diet. Most people should do the MINIMUM of 30min 3 times a week so exercising for an hour everyday surpasses the minimum requirement and added to that a healthy diet.

And besides, you don't have to burn every single calorie you consume or even half of it because your body uses at least 1/3 of it during a day (if you're activity level is somewhat average)

Well, first things first--you can't get anything as fast as you want. If you do in fact get something quickly, you're bound to lose it all quickly.

Many guys and girls pray to be popular at their school and think it's all that and they try to be popular by becoming someone else. If you want to be popular, the people at your school have to like you for who YOU are. I'm sure you have a great personality but it's just hidden behind all that shyness.

Hmm, okay so have your friends have little get togethers with some other friends of theirs and you should meet your friends' friends. Does that make sense? Have your friends have a little party and ask them to invite a few of their friends so that you can meet them and follow the same pattern and let your friendship circle expand.

About your being shy problem...do you really want people to know you as that quiet girl sitting by herself? I think not. People won't know you until you start talking and revealing yourself! Don't worry about them liking you or not because if they don't, it's not the end of the world at all so go out there and meet people. Eventually, you'll gain some popularity if you put yourself out there to new people.

About the lesbian thing, tell them that they're being really immature and stupid. If you let them bother you with this, they'll drag it on because it seems funny to them. Hey, this is kind of a menial question, so yeah. But uh tonight I got invited to two birthday parties that start around the same time. One, is my best friend "Margaret's" birthday. We're going to Maccaroni Grill and that's it. The other is my friend from tennis, "Lucy". Lucy is pretty popular on the team and I really was happy she invited me and I want to get to know her well and stuff. But, Margaret is my best friend. why is it bad to wear make up at a young age (kids)? Is it something with their skin? What age can you wear make-up?

When you wax does like (un-noticely) some of your skin is damaged or ripped so it's better off shaving?

Because at a younger age our skin is still in the process of being pretty guess you can say. If you start clogging up the pores with all these artificial products, you're going to clog them and cause pimples and huge pores. By the age 20, you are bound to have make up (from applying them and taking them off--you have to basically cring and what not) And there is no certain age where you can and cannot wear make up. I say that wearing no make up for the longest time possible is the best. Perhaps if you're going to an interview or have a speech or some major important events, then you should applyy little make up but not go overload

Okay, i had a question about bisexuality. I think that i am bisexual, but i can't quite seem to figure out what to do. I have dreams and think about that stuff with girls, but i wasn't sure how to approach this situation. I don't know anyone that is bisexual or lesbian. I just wanted to know what i should do to actually find out for sure. I told my close friend about it, and he told me that i am because i answered a bunch of questions (like would you kiss a girl etc). I just wanted to see if any one had any advice as to what to do. Serious answers are preferable, and someone who is bisexual would be even better so they can tell me what they did.

Well, it can be very confusing now since we're teenagers and hormones and blah blah. Answer questions may help a little but it won't clarify it 100%.

But the only certain way to find out is by actually going out and kissing a girl. If you enjoy it and feel comfortable and happy with it, there is a big chance you're bi. If you felt a little uncomfortable or just disgusted, than it's a no.

I know it's hard to find out this way but it's the most effective way to find out. Just make sure when you know a girl that's bi [or lesbian] and go out with her/kiss her, make sure you trust her and ask her to keep it a secret because you're just trying to experience new things. Why do sometimes questions that say "I rate 5's" or "I rate high" make it through the advinetors security?
I would also like to tell people here that you should give a rating, since someone took the time to reply on your inquiries. I see many answers that remain unrated even though you can tell that the advicenator spent a lot of sweat on it.

From what I believe, there are many questions day and night that are asked on this one single site. And having to read through every one of them would be strenuous work for the moderators so it would make sense for them to miss a few here and there.

And yes I definately agree with the rating. Although this site is to help people and not to get the best rating and what not, it would be very appreciated for anyone who answers questions to be rated whether it's bad or good because it helps the answerers an idea of how they're helping and how they are not helping. And we're putting in a few minutes of our time to read and answer the questions for the curious yet when they don't rate, it's just saying that they don't appreciate our answers enough to take 5 secons to click a button..

I am 13/F. Right now we are doing speeches and I have a problem. Ever since grade 4 (im in grade 8 now) ive have gotten to the gym and won 2nd place every year. This is my last year for speeches and I have been working really hard. In the previous years I had no trouble at all presenting my speech because I am very comfortable talking infont of an audience. Right now we are doing them in class but she is going to pick the people to go to the gym. She has already picked 1 and only 2 from each class may go. I have worked for weeks on my speech and it's really important to me but I have a problem. This year I have gotten more "giggley" and become close friends with the guys in our class. I had to do a practice round yesterday and it was terrible! I started doing my speech strong and good but then......the guys in the class started making faces and poses and I couldn't help but laugh. Before you bring your bf over, you should consult with your family and say that[ and make it damn clear] you don't want ANY racist remarks/jokes/comments of any sort and you expect them to treat him just as he was a part of the family. Tell to ignore his race because he's a person just like them.

Really? I haven't noticed before but SWEET!!! Haha, but I really don't know if there is a certain criteria you have to have to get there and what you need to do to get on there. And my best guess is that it's probably randomly generated in one way or another. But if you want to someday be featured, you have to go to Profile Settings and scroll down and you'll see a question that says something like "Would you like to be a features user some day?" For that, click yes and someday you would be featured.

Also, sXe means straight edge which means no drugs, drinking [alcoholic beverage wise], smoking, and casual sex for your entire life. If you smoked or drank or whatever, you can't simply say "I think I'll be sXe" because you've already drank and what not. And when I say drug, I mean no illegal drugs ..like Advil and medicine wise it's okay UNLESS you abuse the drug and make it illegal.
