Ok this is weird but i want to get my ear pierced and my friend has a peircing gun. But my parental unit had a problem with it. But i am 17 i should be able to pierce my own ear. So the question is should i just go pierce it and come home to see what happens or not?

If your old enuff... than go for it... but go to a store & get it done professionally instead of using ur friends gun... doin it yourself increases the risk of gettin an infection... & it just doesn't sound like a good idea

I asked my mom if I could get my belly button pierced and she said yes, but when we were trying to figure out where to go one of her friends said that you can get herpes from it and all this stuff like that and getting infected. There's no way that you can get an STD or any other disease by gettin ur belly button pierced AS LONG AS... they use a new needle... when you get it done... they'll open a new needle infronta you... & if you go to a place where they dont... i suggest you dont get it done from there...

well first of all... teens like to brag & make it seem like its normal for them to be sexually active... but the truth is... majority of teenagers haven't done half as much as they claim... usually after people start having sex... they'll do it on a daily basis... you both are going to want it more once u do it... i think it's best that you dont start doing stuff... because it sounds like you dont have enough knowledge to deal with this... dont take that offensively... it takes a lot of time and experience... and by experience i mean lots of reading... & listening to other people's stories... wait a while... you'll feel much better about doing stuff once you know more... :)

Hey i was just curious about dreams. Are they meant to predict the future, or are they just your brain's way of sorting through everything that's going on in your head. Is there an actual purpose for them or what?

Dreams are a very important aspect to your mental health... there are so many emotions in your subconscious that you just cant express when your awake... your body deals with these feelings of happiness, sadness, fear, etc... through dreams... dreams let you do things that you wouldnt be able to do awake... if you dream of kissing sum other guy when you already have a boi... its your way of experiencing other things without ruining your relationship... you can control your dreams... thats called lucid dreaming... it requires practice... but is possible... you can do this by telling your self that... "this is a dream" ... once you have this down you can easily control your dreams... i doubt that dreams are meant to predict the future... anythying is possible... but dreams are basicly your way of dealing with the emotions in your subconscious :)

Another choice you have is a Sympathectomy... This is a surgical procedure where the surgeons will cut the nerves in your under arms so they dont send the messege to your sweat glands to work more than they should... this procedure has some short term side effects which are costly so talk to a doctor and find out whats best for you... what you can do in the meantime is use underarm pads which can be sewn into your clothes... you can find them at fabric stores...

um im not sure if there is anything wrong with you... but you can fix this problem by takin birth control pills... midol is also really good for cramps... birth control... is bascily a method of contraception... im not sure exactly how it works... it's usually taken when women become sexually active... but can be taken when females... have heavy... or unbareable cramps...

My mom seems to think that only black people wear brands such as Roccawear, Baby Phat and Ecko. I like the clothes and she wont let me wear them because on the websites the people who are modeling them happen to be black. So tell me really, do these brands are truly only worn by Africans?

Majority of people that wear those brands are african-american... but i've seen tons of other races wearing them... hispanic, white, asian, indian... im Pakistani... & i love Babyphat... tell your mom your old enough to pick out your own clothes... & it's not like those brands are inappropriate... so she doesn't have much of a reason to disapprove

This is so embarrassing but i feel like my breath smells really bad all the time... i brush and use listerine twice a day and still cant get rid of it. Is there any good products out there or any suggestions on what to do? I don't think gum would help that much.

u might have Chronic bad breath aka halitosis. This is caused by germs that are found in the baQ of your mouth where your brush cant reach. Try using a tongue scraper. You can get that from your dentist or you can get it over the counter... Its like a squeegee it scrapes and wipes off bacteria from places that ur brush cant reach...

It sounds like shes scared & she wants you to take care of her... like she once did when you couldnt take care of yourself... you do need to spend time with her... but you need to explain to her that sometimes its not good too over do things... you need to be social to live a healthy life... thats a fact... your ur mom needs a social life as well as you... yeah ur mom has been thru a lot... but she needs to get on with her life... yeah parents do a lot for us... but that doesnt mean we they own us... there comes a time when you need to make your own decions & decide whats best for you... no one can tell you wants going to make you happy other than ur heart... i understand exactly how you feel... you need to explain it to ur mom... & dont feel guilty... you should never feel gulity for being happy... you & ur mom both need to be social... that's what's best for you & ur mom...

OK here it goes. I go out with this girl and we used to spend time with each other all the time until i moved. So right now we r having a long distance relationship. A lot of girls are like that... they get really paraniod... it usually happens to girls that have been hurt in the past... talk to her & let her know that you really care about her... & wouldnt do anything like that to her... if she still doesnt understand & that really bothers you... than maybe it's time for y'all to take a break...
