I asked about the toga party a few days back. I want to make my own toga but I don't know how. Does anyone know how that could give me a detailed description on how to make one? I want a short one or one that has a separate top and bottom (like showing stomache..bottom and top completely separate)

I am 40/f and own my own home. Because he's just never got his act together I've had my brother and fiancee living with me since june 2005. They are paying rent, but i really want my space back! I've lived alone for almost 12 years (after being widowed at 29). They are getting married tomorrow.... how can i gracefully ask when they will be moving on? I've kinda put my mom up to saying... so, are you two planning on buying a house or what? but she's been ill and hasn't had the opportunity. Appreciate your advice! (link)

You know what? They are going to stay as long as you allow it.
Don't ask them when they are moving. Tell them when they are moving.
Any adult old enough to play house and get married should be responsible enough to live on their own. Since they have both been living with you you cn't really just say OK, I just assume since your getting married you will be moving.
Instead say, since you are getting married, I think you should start off right by getting your own home. Then give them a move out date. Don't make it a long time, they will stay the limit. :)

I've been searching for ages for a dress for 8th grade graduation. I don't want to involve my parents in the actual dress buying, so I'm on my own in paying for it. I'd love to find something under 50$, but i might be able to go over that. I'd rather not buy online, because that'd involve my mom more than i'd like, but i think I'll have to. My question is that is there any good stores around Lexington, ky that sells awesome dresses?

Why don't you want to involve your mom in the buying of your dress? A lot of moms would sure be looking forward to it.

Does it by chance feel better if you put pressure on it? Like with your fist balled up?
Is it worse at night or after you have eaten something fatty?
If so, You may need your gallbladder checked.
Appendix is usually in the lower abdomen but I suppose it could be that. Gas is a possibility too.
Best advice would be to have it checked by your doctor. Tell mom about it and have her make you an appointment. :)

If you used condoms then you are probably not pregnant. You are probably just getting ready to start your period. :)

okay i just went to the doctors to get a perscription birth control and she told me take it the sunday that your period starts, i feel the breast tenderness and i feel like im going to have one, but i dont kno if its the sign of pregnancy, what do u think? (link)

If you just went to the doctor, you were given a pregnancy test. Otherwise you wouldn't have gotten any pills.
If you are pregnant you won't have your period. No period, no starting on pills.
Breast tenderness probably means your going to start your period.
Be sure you are taking the pill for 30 days before you have unprotected sex. :)

This is kinda long so I have no idea if anyone will read it. Well I guess I'll start when me and my ex went out. I liked her all through 9th grade but I had just started going out with this girl when my ex dumped her bf and told people she liked me. I won't get into my first relationship, but skip over to the last month of summer. I had broken up with the girl I was seeing at the end of 9th grade. I was still depressed over it. Then one day I was sitting on the computer and started to talk to Jeneen(my future ex). I remembered how much I liked her and asked if she wanted to come over sometime. And to my surprise she said yes. She came over and it was a little awkward until she was standing in my living room completely glued to the tv. I stood up, grabbed her hips, and pulled her towards me and kissed her. Haha she didn't even turn around until the least second. Then from the rest of the day on, just non stop kissing. I stopped to look her in the eye and asked, "So it's safe to say you like me?" She said, "I don't know. Do you like me?" I said, "Yeah of course." She said, "I like you too." Then I asked her out and we were going out. I won't get into detail about things that happend when we were going, but things were perfect.(to me they are at least) We both loved each other in no time and spent so much time together. She gave her virginity to me. But then she was acting strange the least week we were together. She was kind of distant, and she kept talking about this girl we both knew and saying how she told her she liked me and felt so sad. I was like and you're gonna dump me to make her feel better!? Then it happend. I was over my friends when she did it online. I was mad and kept saying whatever and her friend IMed me and said I was being a jerk. So much happend after we broke up, but I'll make it as short as possible. I was acting crazy when we broke up. I wrote her a note asking her back out, and she wrote one back saying sorry and we should wait. I didn't want to wait though. I asked her to hang out and she said yes, but ditched me twice. Then one day she was finally on my bus so I of course sat with her and asked if we were hanging out today. She said she felt sick. I acted mad and guilted her to come over. It was awkward until I got up in my living room and hugged her as hard as I could. We went back into my bedroom and it was like we never broke up so I asked her back out. She surprisingly said no. I was shocked and I broke down and cried in front of her. She hugged me and kept kissing me. Then she went home. She ditched me 6 more times after that day. It was also the last day we ever kissed. After around a 1 1/2 months of being broken up I then got involved with her bestfriend behind her back. During the 1 1/2 months I was a wreck. I called her all the time to like negotiate going back out. She told me she still loved me which then turned to I Still like you which turned to I dont know if I still like you. So I got involved with her friend who was so nice to me. I didn't do it for revenge. I just needed someone to replace jeneen. Jeneen found out and a huge thing was made out of it. She completely changed her tune. "You never loved me! You're the biggest ****" and blah blah blah. So things fell through with her friend after a few weeks. I immediatly realized I still liked my ex. We were friends at this point so I called her with intention on telling her. She was out with friends when I called her. I told her and she was like, "Oh well if you want you can call me when I'm home." I got to say I didn't mind that answer. So 2 hours later I signed online and she IMs me saying how she made out with this senior kid. I called her and was like you can't be serious. Turns out she had been drinking. The next morning when I checked my away message I had 10 IMs from her telling me how sorry she was. We talked and I asked if she still liked me and she said, "I don't know." So I asked her to hang out way too much and called her too much. Her friend(the one I was with) yelled at me. "Why do you act like she likes you!? SHE DOESN'T" I already knew she didn't, but I was trying to make her like me. We hung out once after a wicked long time of asking. She brought another friend when I made it clear I wanted to chill alone. I even tried to kiss her that night, but she just sat there. This happend around the end of january. Needless to say the night didn't go as planned. So back to present. It's been six months. I went to parties at jeneen's with my bestfriend paul who was starting to like her friend (the one I was with). So I went, but everytime I watched her gradually get closer to this ugly kid who stayed back named kevin. It killed me because they were soon cuddling and making out, but like an idiot I went every weekend. She is not going out with this kevin kid officially. I sent her a long note telling her how much I still loved her, I couldnt stand the thought of her with someone else, I just want her to be happy so be happy with whatever she does, to be with kevin if it makes her happy, and I have to distance myself from her. She told me she got it and it was very nice and thank you. I said theres nothing to thank I just wanted to say it. She said, "Well it was really nice and I liked it so thank you." I said welcome and then she asked how I was doing. I lied and said alright and she said she was glad. I havn't talked to her since. Been about a week. I still love her so much. Everyone tells me that the kevin kid a geek and that it will NEVER last, but I have trouble believing them. I see them in the halls all the time and they don't seem to be a good couple, but I also saw how they were out of school... She's also in my gym class. Today was our first day and I steered clear of her. I have no clue as what to do. I love her and she now knows. I feel a little better with each passing day, but then theres days I feel terrible. What should I do? Maybe just suggestion or ideas? I still love her so much and having little interest in anyone else around me. Please help in any way possible with any kind of advice. (link)

She doesn't feel the same as you do. She doesn't want to be bothered, but it is probably somewhat of an ego boost to have you panting after her.
Give up already! Find yourself a girl who wants you and won't give you the run around. There are plenty out there who won't treat you as bad as this one is doing.
Of course soon as you get a girlfriend she is going to start back in with the old, you didn't really love me routine. It is BS. She wants to keep you around because she can use you when nobody she considers better is around. Don't buy into that crap.
Honestly, you can do better. Try your best to get your mind off of this one and find someone who cares. She is out there...you are just spending all your time trying for the wrong girl and missing her.
Sorry I couldn't give you an answer like "she will wake up soon and see the error of her ways", but that wouldn't have been fair to you. :)

It probably is.
Eat normally. Do not just go nuts and eat a bunch on any one day. Eat every meal don't skip any. Your plate at supper should have portions on it about the size of your school lunch servings.
Then exercise. Go for a walk, play a game like volley ball that takes some moving around. Or, buy an exercise video. Dancing is very good exercise. Put on some music and dance, dance, dance.
But don't not eat. It will make you sick. :)

17/f ok this is hard to explain I had not seen this guy for over a year and he asked me to meet up in jan we met up and well i fell for him yet again!we used to go to school together. I went to his house but we never had sex i just kissed him. he aparently met a russian girl on holiday and he said to me when i saw him he loved me and only me and he will do anything for me ect. i heard that he was in hospital so i wrote a text to him asking him if hes ok. He answered me with im in hospital with nemonia. So i was like what hospital are You in he never answered i asked again he never answered. So obviously seeing hes wealthy hes in a private hospital so i found out where he was because i guessed and i phoned him up and he was so rude to me he was like dont you think its a bit late at night to be calling me! then i said how are u? ect hes like got nemonia im like yeh thats why im phoning you then i asked him if he would like me to visit him and he said No, then i went ok then and he then put the phone down on me i thought how rude. so the next day i sent a card to the hospital saying get well soon and i never put love on the end i just put from and to his name because if his parents ask he can always say a friend. Anyway i texted him the next day saying how are You i love you im here for you all that sort of thing and hes like im going to have surgery and im being moved to another hospital. Im like ok get well soon then i said are u ok? a day after he said hes having surgery he never answered me for 3 days so i became so worried! But 3 days after i sent the message he said im ok. then ive asked him so many times if he wants me to visit him i also came up with the idea of taking a friend of his with me to see him but when i asked him if he would like me to come with his friend to keep him company! I got the rudest message back which said i don't need cheering up my family does that enough and i have dvds and stuff. I thought ok fair enough but no thank you. no i love u nothing.So now im just going to leave him alone what do you think?? have i done the right thing? someone please help. Yes you are doing the right thing if you stop bothering him.
He may have sent some mixed signals but he obviously wants to be left alone. Don't wait until he gets really angry and really hurts your feelings in the process of telling you. It seems he has been trying to be nice about it.
There is someone for you out there somewhere. You won't find him if you are wasting time with this guy. :)

I know this guy from my previous office but not really that close to him. I think i have a crush on him.
He's a consultant and talks extremely well when i ask him for advise on work.
However, he gets shy/uncomfortable, when i ask him simple personal questions for eg: Do you go for swimming. I think he has a problem of talking about himself to new people or just not that friendly.
So one day, i gave him some sweets via his secretary (i didnt really know him that well at that time in office) and he was quite startled and stared at me and waited for me to say something when i bumped at him at the doorway.
He had those puppy eyes..but didnt say word!.
I pretended not to appear interested in him becos i was too shy.!
He could have just thank me for the sweets but he didnt.
Later, i sent him email and was able to chat with him about work..and he responded quite well.
How do i get him to open up to me as a normal friend?
What can i say/should not say to him when i call him? Can i call him to say goodnight to him?
Would appreciate your advice.

Why not ask him out for coffee or drinks. Something casual...maybe even lunch. You could start out talking about something work related, then slowly start asking about him.
What kind of movies/ books does he like...something not work related but not real personal either.
I assume you have checked and found him not to be attached? It may be he has had a bad experience or he is just shy. He may be gay.
I don't think he is deliberately being unfriendly.
You may have to be the one though who starts the ball rolling. I would hold off on the goodnight calls until you know him better. The sweets one day and then you not mentioning it either...You may have him confused too! Just try talking to the guy. See where it goes.

ok let me start off by saying my name is meghan and i am 14 and i am an 8th grader and i feel so embarrassed when my friends talk about their periods well the problem is that i have not started mine yet and i don't know what is wrong with me but i play soccer all year and i have no clue if that has something to do with the issue.well i am 5'0 and 125lbs. and i have "boobs" and i have hair down there and i know that this sounds weird but i will do anything just to get my period.i promised myself when i was younger i would never kiss a boy until i got my period and now i don't think i can wait that long!PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Girls who are really athletic will sometimes not get their periods right away.
I had a friend who, when she wanted to have a baby, had to stop running. The running was keeping her from having her period. I think she was about 22 then.
You may want to check with your doctor to make sure, but if I had to guess...I'd say its the year round soccer.
I wouldn't want to tell you to give up your sport. Its fun and good exercise! So, I think you just need change the criteria for getting your first kiss!
Don't be embarrassed that you haven't got it yet. Instead be thankful you have something to talk about other than that! :)
