is there any website that shouws you cool magic tricks (like videos of them) and then EXPLAINS how to them, step by step? thanks you!
The best place to learn magic is at Ellusionist.com but it is not free. It is run by a first class magician named Brad Christian and they sell only the most cutting edge effects. Categories are broken down into skill level also.
Magic isn't a passing fad- to get good and not do stupid tricks that are painfully simple; you will need lots and lots and lots of practice. It also is not a cheap hobby.
I know how to diet and I know how to exercise, i know lots and lots about that.
Sometimes Im on a good diet for about a week or 2 and i loose weight and make progress.
Then after that, I'll have one day where I just eat and eat and eat, non stop.
And then the next few days ill do the same thing.
Then ill gain the weight back and feel like crap.
Usually ill start crying and say how Tommorow ill go back on the diet, and i either do or dont.
Then the process repeats.
Sometimes when I eat way to much and feel like crap , I throw it up.
Sometimes I dont care and Ill be in a good mood.
Usually becuase If i loose a few pounds, I still get called fat , so it doesnt even matter.
I just dont know what to do anymore.
I need something permanent, that will help me last.
I dont really need any food or exercise tips, unless you have a unique one.
I just need something.
By the way , im 14 years old , 5'5-5'6 and range between 142-150 lbs.
Thanks
Sounds like you don't know as much as you think you do. And to be honest- you don't; neither do I- this is a field where you're always learning and adapting and it's impossible to call one a "Guru". Trainers included.
Also sounds like its a personal problem that no tidbit of info is going to help because you're the only one who will able to figure it out. I could tell you the ways of controlling appetite or the ins and outs of designing a program; the bottom line is that if you don't have it in your personality that you are a go-getter then you're not getting anywhere and you will continuously fail. It's all about willpower and no trainer or anybody can help cure that condition but yourself.
even good fats (peanuts, beans, avacado, etc.) can make you fat if you're inactive right?
Let's put two and two together- It's fat; it's 9 calories per gram; it is good for you but it still is fat- you're inactive and do nothing to burn fat. What do you truly, honestly think?
Same thing with those stupid diet pill commercials- they promise you banished fat forever and you don't even have to move a finger- see through the bullshit and know that none of it is true. You have to exercise and eat right.
I would like to go to new york city, in like march. My mom said she'd take me..but, shes never been there & doesn't know like the area well. Can anyone tell me what its like? We'd wanna go see like broadway plays, & go to china town, to get fake designer purses. & junk like that. Whats it like in NYC? & would we know like how to get around, even if we've never been there? What could I say to get my mom to let me go there? i wanna go realllly bad.
& if you've been there, what are some good places to go to.
Wow are you in for a hell of a ride the first time you come here. Fake designer purses are everywhere- you don't have to just go to Chinatown to get those. NYC is extremely simple to get around- there's the East side, West side, Uptown and Downtown the avenues run across from 1st ave over on the East river side over to 11th ave on the West side. Just some ideas- Times Square is on 7th ave in West Midtown around 50th street, The Empire State building is on 5th ave at 34th street, Ground Zero where the trade center stood is all the way downtown on Church St. Rockerfeller Center where NBC's studios are which is where Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live and all those are taped and the big ice skating rink is on 5th and 6th aves at 50th street, Carnegie Hall is on 57th street and 7th ave. Just the food will be enough to make you want to stay- if you're in Times Square I recommend you go Stage Deli or Carnegie's on 54th and 7th.
I'll be honest with you- it is a very very intimidating place especially when you have no idea where to go and haven't been here before and muggers and natives alike can spot a tourist from a mile away. Keep your money and cameras in your front pockets, don't spend too much time looking up into the sky at all the buildings and the best way to blend in- keep up the pace with everyone walking; you're going to be astonished at how fast we all walk ;-)
Other than all that- it's the real capital of this country- it's gorgeous and filled with anything that you can imagine; best food, best shows, there's history everywhere you walk- it's just the best city in the world and take it from somebody who's from here, been to a lot of other places and is in the city regularly- there's NO place like NYC. Trust me- you'll love it.
how well do ab lounges work?
About as well as Mariah Carey's acting ability.
What can i do to get more muscles? By the way can Basketball help give me muscles?
                                   -thanks
Lift weights- it's the best way to develop muscles. Barbells and dumbbells are great friends- they're always there when you need them, they never say anything to piss you off and being around them will make you a better person.
I know its bad to take diet pills, but which ones really do work?
Diet pills are like steroids in one way- they're reserved for the pros and should only be taken by someone with serious knowledge, A LOT of hard work and time under the bar. Stay away from them- they're not for you.
I was just wondering if its actually unhealthy to be underweight.
I'm 16 and female, I'm 5'4 and weigh 92lbs, which apparently gives me a BMI of around 16. I'm told this is really underweight, and I need to do something about it, but is it actually physically unhealthy or just a social/cultural thing? Thanks for your help!
Sure its unhealthy- you need to have enough weight and bodyfat to maintain your body's temperature, line your organs and have long term energy. Being underweight is just as bad as being overweight. Don't be afraid to carry a few extra pounds..it'll do you good in the long run.
Does anyone know of any dieting programs where they send you food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...other then jenny craig??
and also this might sound stupid, but jenny craig isn't only for women, is it?
(and yes i know i could google, but im terrible at searching, and i thought maybe someone on here might have tried some places out and could give me some advice on places to try, and the places with the best tasting food)
THANX!
YG is right- those programs are very expensive. You're better off learning how to make healthy meals for yourself. There's plenty of good recipes you can find online and once you get the hang of cooking the basics then it really isn't that hard and you start to satisfy your own personal tastes.
You can eat just as healthy for a fraction of the cost with a little bit of practice.
if there's any mega health freaks out there, do you know if its good for you if you drink a bottle of vitamin water (multi-v) a day? or can you get sick from it from having too many vitamins?
i've been thinking about it lately and its confusing me.
Vitamin water is crap; plain and simple. Drink regular water and get your vitamins in pill form.
i know it's hard to make your hips smaller, but how do you make your waist smaller in general with exercising? (i already try & eat really healthy). what types of exercises help make your waist smaller WITHOUT adding muscle? basically i don't want to gain any muscle, i just want smaller hips/waist. aslo, how do you get smaller arms without adding muscle?
Theres no difference between building muscle by curling for your biceps and building muscle for doing crunches for your abs. It all builds muscle; I'll say it again- it all BUILDS muscle.
The only thing that gets you smaller is cardio and diet. Period.
If a pitcher is coming into the bottom of the ninth with a 10 nothing lead, but then gives up 9 runs and still comes away without blowing it, does he get a save?
No..the closer has to come in when the lead is by 3 runs or less and close out the inning to get the save. So if Billy Wagner comes into the bottom of the 9th inning and the Mets are winning 4-1 and he gets all the outs he gets the save but if they're winning 5-1 he does not.
HOW THE HELL DO YOU MAKE THIS STUFF TASTE GOOD?!?!?
And of course any recipe you provide...should have low fat and calorie content....
thank ye
P.S. Its chocolate flavored
Well I am going to tell you something that you need to hear- It's not candy- it's not supposed to taste like it..if you don't like the fact that it doesn't taste like candy then you might as well quit now because you're in the wrong game.
My protein powder of choice is Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey and it has been for the past 3 years- my first 2 years were spent trying all different kinds of powders and ON's is definitely the best. Currently I have a 10 lb bag of chocolate and a 5 lb bottle of vanilla ice cream flavored...if you don't like chocolate then I recommend their vanilla ice cream flavor.
My chocolate protein recipe of choice:
3 scoops Optimum Nutrition powder
50/50 water/skim milk
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 raw eggs
fresh banana (optional)
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp flax seed oil
how come everyones attracted to blonde boys??
I don't know...must just be something about us :-P
You can exclude me from the attractive blonde boy list.
well..i'm a senior in high school..and i applied to lots of colleges and got accepted..the problem is..im worried about it. like im already overwhelmed with high school classes..and i cant imagine classes being harder than they already are..and no i dont go to a private school or anything like that..so what do i do?
College is awesome. The lifestyle and atmosphere is way different and laid back.
Besides, how cool is it to know that you can walk out of class when you want and don't have to ask to go to the bathroom? :-)
Hello, I just wanted to know any kind've a way to gain weight. I am 107 pounds and 5'4.5 inches and i am 15. I know i am a bit underweight but i dont want to gain just a couple pounds i wanted to gain like 10 more pounds or so. I was gonna start a high calorie diet, so like eat breakfast, lunch dinner, and have snacks in between each one and one before bed. Is that a good approach? If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks :)
Don't take weight gainer- it isn't for you. Adding more calories to your meals and eating bigger portions is plenty sufficient for your goals.

i dont really have a large penis or even medium sized. every boy says theirs is at least 7 inches. mine is smaller. i dont have hair on my armpits but im just wondering if that has anything to do with it. i have a little bit of pubes though. i dont want to stay this small as i grow up and go into my dating years.
Your friends are lying buddy.

I eat a ton of salt on EVERYTHING, like corndogs, popcorn, extra on chips, etc. I even eat straight salt (salt packets). I know this is extremely bad for me, but I went to the doctor and he said I don't have high blood pressure, I'm not overweight (5'4 128lbs) and my sodium level is low. I drink milk all of the time, so I'm not worried about osteoporosis. Why is it sooo bad for me to eat a lot of salt?
Salt raises the blood pressure dramatically to start- you're young and your metabolism can take the beating that salt puts on it but I would advise you to start to change your eating habits here and now. Also when there is an excess amount- it leads the body to restrict more water and you get a very bloated look and feel.
Now we do need salt to survive as it is an electrolyte and helps the muscles in their functions but the FDA recommends usually between 1,100 and 3,000 mg a day which I personally feel is too much- especially to somebody who exercises.
Sooner or later you will need to change your eating habits because although it may not seem like it now- you're doing damage to your body.
WASSUP??!?!?
Ok, this is a stupid question since I already know the answer...at least I think I do...I guess I'm just paranoid...w/e thats what this site is for
does diet cola....if drank in high quantities...I drink like 12 cans a day....
well if you do that...will it make you gain weight???
Yes. Enjoy those teeth while you have them because they're not going to last very long.
Im a guy and guys gotta look good. im a football player and i have an athletic kind of body. but even though i excercise and play sports. i still have fat around my stomach. all my friends have abs and all that and that makes me insecure knowing that they are more attractive. what should i do? does anyone know how to get rid of the fat?
You should stop worrying about how other guys look and get some self confidence in yourself. You're not making any significant changes with that kind of comparative attitude because nothing will ever be good enough for you if you keep it. You have to want to make changes because you want better health and a better body- not because you're insecure that someone has a 6 pack and you don't.
