I dont know what whey protein tastes like but my step dad has it and he puts it in skim mild. And he said that the only way to make it taste good was to sweeten it yourself. But if u are going to sweeten it use splenda and not regualr sugar or anything like equal. I hope that i helped.=)

Well I am going to tell you something that you need to hear- It's not candy- it's not supposed to taste like it..if you don't like the fact that it doesn't taste like candy then you might as well quit now because you're in the wrong game.

My protein powder of choice is Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey and it has been for the past 3 years- my first 2 years were spent trying all different kinds of powders and ON's is definitely the best. Currently I have a 10 lb bag of chocolate and a 5 lb bottle of vanilla ice cream flavored...if you don't like chocolate then I recommend their vanilla ice cream flavor.

My chocolate protein recipe of choice:

3 scoops Optimum Nutrition powder
50/50 water/skim milk
1 tbsp peanut butter
2 raw eggs
fresh banana (optional)
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp flax seed oil

Hey ya-know I dont care for the chocolate flavor, I use the vanilla(by Body Fortress), what I did is I went out bought a little blender,I put my protein powder in it with Banana, raw eggs, 1% milk, blend it then drink...you can add anything you want, Fruit that is..its a awesome drink for after your routine...my creatine powder I use for my Pre-workout drink....that helps your muscle with the building and re-building process...more reps, stamina..You know you might have to experiment ,like I did to get the BEST results..........Hope that helps...

Chocolate whey Protein
1/2 cup of raspberries
1/2 frozen banana

The vanilla flavored is much better and more versatile than the chocolate, though.

There are a lot of whey powder shake recipes floating around online but some favorite add-ins are peanut butter (try the all-natural kind -- it has less sugar, adds extra protein, and contains "good fat" instead of non-natural added fat) and fruit (banana and/or strawberries, or anything else you like). Fruit that is more ripe will have a stronger flavor and will do more to overpower the whey taste.
