From what I have heard, it is caused by tampons. It can even kill you. www.beinggirl.com has lots of articles about TSS. What causes it, What happens, ect. That could help you out more than I could. :D

I have thick hair. when it dries, it dries really bad (its hard to explain...its kind of puffy/ wavy/ frizzy) bottom line..its a mess. But i dont always have time to straighten it. i dont care if its not straight...i just want it to look nice. Is there any products or ideas to help control my hair???

I know exactly how you feel.

I was at Wal-Mart Friday and noticed something new they had. They have a new line of hair stuff from Sunsilk. They have stuff for De-Frizz and De-Poof. So, I decided tog et De-frizz and talked my twin sister into getting De-Poof. Needless to say the De-Frizz worked.

Its in a green bottle. Its called Sunsilk De-Frizz. They have the shampoo and creme. I didn't buy the shampoo, just the creme. Its a 24/7 Creme. I put it on my hair when it was wet, and again when it was dry. It looks amazing. So I recomend that. Its only about $3.

So my friend wants me to help her with her appearance. she told me she wants a tan..and she was going to do the spray on tan..but from my experience i didnt find the spray tan very effective for what she wants..she doesnt have much money to spend so she cant get one every so often so i mentioned that there are bronzing lotions and stuff like that out there..so she is coming over sometime so we can do this and i DONT want to use a self tanner..and i'm not big on the brands of bronzing lotions i just know they have them..can someone recommend some good tanning LOTIONS or those cloths they have out now that i can get at a walmart or something. Hi. I've been using Jergens Natural Glow. Its a daily moisturizer that tints your skin. You can tell the first day you use it that you are getting darker. I recomend that. Plus is makes your skin baby soft. :D

This question is directed toward all you christian colunists. I'm planning to get a tattoo soon and I'd like to get the opinion of other christians. So if you are a christian, I'd like to know how you feel about tattoos.

Hi. I remember when my mom got one of her ankle years ago. Then when she went to church, the preacher came up to her and said that the bible says you are not supposed to mark your body or pierce it. (just in different words) In my opinion, Christians can get tattoos, as long as its nothing extremly sinful. Like the devil for example. My cousin sings in a gospel group, and has a tattoo on his arm of a cross. Its beautiful. Actually, a lot of Christian tattoos' are beautiful. So, if you want to get one, then get one. Just keep in mind people are fast to judge others with tattoos.

If your body rejects a piercing, what will it look like? What are the signs of the body rejecting ANY piercing? I have my finger web pierced and it's really dry around the edges and I'm worried my body might be rejecting it!!

Hi. I got my finger web done a couple years ago. Mine did the same thing, so you don't have anything to worry about. Cause it didn't hurt me. Although I did get a surface on my back, and my body rejected it. It has puss and crap running out all the time, kinda like when a piercing gets infected. So, just get some neosportan and keep that on it and in about 2 months it will start looking normal.

Hi. I have 19 piercings, surface, ear, mouth, eyebrows all that god stuff. I got my nose pierced last summer. I live in NC and it cost $20 but the piercer was my boyfriends friend and I got a discount. I thin the average price is $30-$45.

It doesn't hurt bad. All that happens is, you get your nose marked, then the piercer pushes a needle through your nostril, then he inserts a tube, then gets the piece of jewlery that you picked out, and takes out the tube, and puts the jewlery in!

It feels more like a pinch than anything!

I'm planning to get my first tattoo. I'm searching for the perfect design. I want to get a wolf and a dreamcatcher and my name on my shoulderblade. I just submitted my description on a website to have it custom designed by a tattoo artist. I'd like to know what to expect when I actually have it done. So if anyone that already has a tat could please share their experience. Is it really painful? Do you have any regrets?

Hi. I myself don't have any. I'm more of a piercings person. But my boyfriend, btoher, sister and mom has some. So I guess I'll just tell you what they have said then..

Its on your shoulder blade, so its gonna hurt since its on a bone. Most people say that it feels like a pinching. It will be sore for a couple of days, and will get a scab over it, so your tattoo parlor should give you something called "Tattoo Goo" That keeps it from getting to dryed out or infected. But if you can't get any of that, then keep a lot of lotion on it.

And as I've heard 100s of times before, keep in mind that when you get old, skin sags, and might not look too hot. But hey, it looked good for a while, right? I don't know. Its really up to you!

Hi. This is how I've heard many, many other advice columnist, and myself say/do.

1: With siscors (sp) cut the hair as close to the body as possible.
2: Apply lots of shaving cream, so you won't be as irritated.
3: Start shaving downward.
4: Apply some lotion made for the -down their- area.

Just so know, it will itch like crazy for a few days, but then it will get better. Oh, and it might be a little red at first.

Hi. Get some mousse, and when your hair is still wet, flip it over upside down, then fill your hand with mousse and scrunch your hair. The you will have cute little waves. Sometimes curls, it depends on how you do it. I love doing that, and everyone looks good like that. It doesn't matter how hard it is to get your hair "not straight" mousse will do that. Oh, and when you blow-dry your hair, use the low heat setting.

*Even if you want to, since your not of legal age. He can still go to jail. It really actually depends on your state what the legal age of concent is. In MOST states its between 16-18. My state is 18.

Simply, you just don't need to let anyone find out what yall did, and everything should go over okay. So you don't want to tell people you had sex with him, because they could tell people, or the cops could find out. Then your boyfriend would have to go to jail.

-No you shouldn't be scared. You should take a stuffed animal on with you just incase though. I heard they help you calm down.

-Chewing Gum is to stop your ears from popping. Since its your first time, your eyes are probably gonna pop. So you should chew gum.

-You shouldn't get sick.

-Take a DVD on with you and watch thats what I do. Have a handheld video game. Or if you have a laptop, take that on with you.

I started using Acne Free about 5 days ago, and since then my face has been itching like a beast. Has this happened to anyone else? It's started clearing my face us, but it itches so bad and dry patches are forming! My moms making me stop using it, is there anything else thats just as good? (Not ProActive, we can`t afford it)

Hi. I've been using that for probably 7 months. AcneFree drys your face out a lot causing it to itch. The dry patches are gonna form whether you scratch it or not. I learned this the "hard" way. You should put it only where there is a pimple at, then it will make your face feel really tight for about 3 or 4 minutes. That way you don't have to dedal with those nasty dry patches from it drying out your face so much.

My dog ate a half a pellet of rat poison. Will this harm her?

It depends on the size of the dog. If its a ig dog, then not as much. If its a small dog, then it could kill it.

You should take your dog to the vet so he/she can give your dog something to make it throw all the poison up.

Anyway, for the past few days my left eye has been really itchy. I don't wear contacts or anything like that. It feels like there is an eye lash that fell into my eye... it's that exact same feeling, but there is nothing in it. The feeling is not there 24/7 either... it probably feels that way every 4 hours or so, and I can't stop rubbing it when it happens which makes it itch and bother me even more!

What's wrong, and how can I fix it? Any ideas? Thanks so much in advance! :)

Hi. I'm not for sure what it could be. But I agree with the person under me. It could be allergies.

But I do know how to stop it! :D Clear Eyes makes a drop for itchy eyes. You should try that for a couple of days, and if it doesn't get better simply see an eye doctor.
