I'm not sure. What is your dog's size, breed, and age? It might not matter, so I'll make this short and sweet...every dog is different, so take her to the vet RIGHT NOW. Stop this before it starts.

It depends on the size of the dog. If its a ig dog, then not as much. If its a small dog, then it could kill it.

You should take your dog to the vet so he/she can give your dog something to make it throw all the poison up.

Someones dog that i knew ate like half the pack of rat poison stuff. About a week later, the dog was like throwing up and all red around his chest and whining and stuff. They took him to the vet and he gave him some pills to take and he was better. So, I'd say that unles youre dog is acting strange or looks sick, then he should be fine. Im no vet though. But thats just my thought because it wasnt that much. Hope I heled; :]]

It really does depend on the size of the dog and the size of the pellet.
Most rat poisons work by stopping the blood from clotting so they will basically bleed to death from the inside. Not a nice way to go. That said, you really ought to get her checked out by a vet asap just to make sure, if it has caused damage, the sooner the vet can administer an antidote the better, this usually vitamin K as it is a blood clotter, but only a vet will know the correct dosage.
However, as I said it does depend on size. If she is showing any abnormal signs, bleeding from the nose, gums or rectum, shaking, possibly a cough, green poo or blood in it, pale gums, appearing weak and/or cold to name just a few, she must see a vet.
Hope this helps and that she will be fine, best of luck.

This is a question best asked to your vet or Poison Control. This doesn't mean you would need to bring her into the vet, you should just call the vet and they can give you an answer.

Was the dog close to the size of a rat? Or is she closer to a lab size? What kind of rat poison, what is the active ingredient? How large was it, and how long ago did she eat it? These are all questions that you would need to answer before you can even begin to find out if she will be harmed or not.

If she didn't get too much of the poison, then she might get a little sick to her stomach, and be better. But I don't know how her body will handle the rat poison, even just half a pellet. It's best to call your Vet or Poison control anytime something like this happens.

The number to Poison control should be on the rat poison box.

From what i know.If its the same sortof poison i think it is.Then no because if she ate anuf she'd be foaming at the mouth, shaking , trembling...
Because it affects the brain, but if shes ok now, shes ok if she'd had alot then she'd have the symtoms above and not have bin ok, it would takes about 5minutes...

SO shes fine,:) no harm done part from you getting realy worried dats the worst...

But if you feel shes acting abit weird, anything like that then i surjest you go to a vet...

Hope that kinda helps..

Abzzz...

Before anyone can give an educated guess here we need more information. How big is the dog? What kind and size of pellet are you talking about?
