Aaaah, don't listen to 'em. They're just being silly because they know that's what gets to you. If you love him, get to know him and see where it goes. And don't pay attention to your 'friends'...though if they were really your friends they'd care about what is important to you.

my best friend has a bf and they are madly in love which i dont mind but if im on the phone with her and he calls on the other line shell say she needs to go and talk to him and this bothers me and ive talked to her about this but she says she just really likes him and wants to talk to him so should i just hang out with my other friends some more because they dont ditch me because i cant put everything into this relationship if i know she only talks to me when hes not there (link)

This situation has happened to me...like...right now. I think what you should do is talk to her about how you feel...because the feeling sucks. It's no fun being dropped for a guy and then being expected to be there when he drops her like a rock.
So explain [nicely] how you feel and give her a little bit.

Hi.
We have these profile thingys to fill out for our yearbook, and there's a box that you put them in. Well, I got curious (Shouldn't have done this, I know) put my hand in, and grabbed one out. I wanted to see what other people had said before I did mine. Well, by some amazing stroke of fate, the one I picked up had mentioned my name.. under "Idol" the person had put my name.. and then said "Just kidding.. I idolize how long shes survived having her face run over by cars"
I barely even know this girl and I've done NOTHING to her. I was very upset reading this. I KNOW the yearbook people would put this in.. because they have stupid questions like "person you want to hunt down" and stuff, so they're encouraging that kind of thing. I still have the profile form. Should I rip it up, so she misses out on having her profile in the yearbook? Or should I do the "right" thing and put it back in the box? I'm sorta upset about this and I don't know what to do. If it gets in there, it'll be around for years.. you know how long yearbooks last and I would never live it down.

I think I agree with some of these people. You should cross it out, and put in something so stupid (ex. that whole 'madly in love with you' thing...that was awesome! =P) in there, and put it back in. And then I'd talk to her. She was out of line. Jerk.

I have a crush on this guy and he was walking towards me.
As he walked towards me, I swept my bangs sideways by purposely flinging my head to my side a little (but obvious enough for him to see).I didnt like exaggerate my actions to the point where my head turns 360 degrees but the action is kind of obvious for him to see. I did that cos I heard that it's a form of flirting when girls fling their hair back. When he saw me doing that, he just smiled.
I don't know what kind of smile is that. I mean its just a normal smile but I kinda wanna cringe whenever I remembered flinging my head back purposely in front of him. what does he mean by that smile? I feel kind of embarrasssed that I flung my stupid head back and gosh do I regret it sooo!
Can someone pleeeease tell me wat could he have felt? Is he smiling cos he's embarrassed for me? (link)

You shouldn't be embarrassed! You should be proud! You got him to smile at you and that's wonderful! If he'd turned away, looked confused or annoyed, or rolled his eyes, then you'd need to be a little embarrassed. When a boy smiles at you like that, most of the time he thinks it's cute. Good job on not making it too obvious!

Argh. I'll skip the speech about 'your time will come, blah blah blah.' That's the one all my friends in a relationship tell me so I'll back off and they can go be with their 'lover'. =P There are lots of people who have never had boyfriends or kisses, myself included. -sigh- And you know, I'm going into the 10th grade and I'm really starting to get curious...like what's it feel like? Well, I guess we'll all find out sooner or later. And don't worry. You know, later, when boys find out you've never had a boyfriend, they'll like you more. It means you're picky and don't just date the first guy who looks your way. Well, it may not seem like it now. But it's true. I'll end my rambling and say, make some guy friends! Too often does that escalate into romance. Give it a try!

Ha! =P I guess we sort of have that in common. I know it sounds sort of weird, but the more conservative you are, the more people are going to notice you. It shows that you don't have to wear revealing clothes to look awesome! I guess you could wear nice jeans that aren't baggy but not too tight either, and again, shirts that are just tight enough to leave people guessing. People like something left to the imagination, and if you're wearing nice-looking clothes that don't leave you half-nude, who can make fun of you?

i have a kitten. i have had her for about...9 days. she is 7 weeks old. whenever i put her down and leave the room. she starts freaking out. like running around and meowing like crazy. when i go back in a pick her up, she falls asleep, starts purrring and calms down. can anyone give me any advice on what to do?? It can take up to a few months for a kitten to get adjusted. She'll get used to her new house and become more adventurous, but right now she's missing her mommy and old home. You can carry her around the house and slowly accustom her to your other family members and rooms, and be patient with her. Believe it or not, we were the same way as babies. Show her that her new home is a wonderful place, and play with her a lot. She'll be running around by herself in no time!

This has happened to me before. My best pal always tells me, "I'll only be mad at you if I'm doing something weird or have something hanging out of my nose or between my teeth (you get the picture) and you don't tell me." She'll feel worse if you don't point it out because they don't always realize they're doing it. Mind, don't blurt it in front of her crush, but just say it while you're alone and be NICE. Say, 'Maybe you don't realize it, but sometimes you chew with your mouth open...I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I'd really like it if you'd try not to." It's better for you to point it out gently than for some creep to turn it into a schoolwide joke.

Hey! We're the same! I'm the oldest with two brothers who can be great but also hard to handle.
A sister right now sounds nice, doesn't it? Well...no, it doesn't. You'd have to deal with another little sibling taking after what she sees your brothers doing. Little sisters can be so much fun...but they can also be infamous for taking your makeup and clothes and going through all your stuff. Which is not to say little sisters can't be your best friend, but I wouldn't reccommend having another child in the family. Just talk to your friends and spend lots of time with them. And when you and your brothers aren't fighting, tell them how they make you feel sometimes. Little brothers can be your best friends too.

O__O It's a sad day when someone feels they can't be in a relationship because of their 'status'. It's not the right way to judge someone, how has everyone failed to see that? Well, I think you've seen past the status and I'm proud of you. If you like him, your friends better respect that. If they didn't, are they your true friends? Because if you drop him because some other people who think they're all that classify him a 'loser' you could really be missing out on a wonderful guy. Go with your feelings. Who knows? Maybe one of your other friends likes a guy 'not on top' as you say, too, and she'll be happy you had the courage to go against the status quo. =P

Love isn't really something you can measure with time. If you feel that you love him with no doubts then you do, but if not, that's fine! I knew a couple who went out four years before saying the three magic words. Just go with your heart.

Heck no! Us gorgeous young women wait for no man who can't get his act together! If he really liked you he'd be dating you. Right now he's seeing if you like him enough to wait around like a lost puppy, and he'll likely make fun of you for it. Besides, would you like to be dating him and having him tell another girl to wait for him while he gets rid of you? I don't think so. Don't grace him with your affections. Wow...the same thing happened this year with a guy a like. I mean, how can he NOT see she's using him, right? Well, it pains me to say that if you point it out, he'll think you're coming on really strong, and that you're intenionally trying to break them up. (duh). What he doesn't see is that it's true, she will hurt him. All he sees is a jealous friend who won't let him be happy. Just wait. When she dumps him, you be there for him...but don't say I told you so.

Okay, so i don't have any friends. frankly alot of people don't like me because of all the drama that went on last year in 8th grade. Now i am really scared to be going into freshman, when almost everybody hates me when i only have about 4 girl friends.. and would've i`m not in any classes with them? well thats not my problem.. my problem is.. the people that don't like me are going to harass me and get everybody to gain up on me.. i`m now a religious christian && not many people know that, except for the people that went to church camp with me. i don't know what i am going to do. what should i say to people who are trying to fight with me.. should i like apologize to them.. so that they don't cause drama for me in 9th? i really just wanna stay out and be like unknown.. but thats not going to happen.. what do i do :[[ please please help. Oh, this is great! The same thing happened to me at the end of 8th grade. And I became a freshman, and guess what? No one remembered anything. Chances are they'll be too busy trying to get the upperclassmen not to gang up on THEM. Just find some people who share your interests (a Christian club? My school's got one). And don't be unknown! If you're loud and proud, more people will be attracted to you and less people will have the nerve to gang up on you when you have a good circle of friends. Don't deny yourself the awesomnity of freshman year!
