Alright, my girlfriend just ended her period and we were thinking of sex. I tried to get a condom but with no luck. Now I checked up on it and people say after a period, there is no egg. So I thought, even without a condom, if we had sex and I,"Pulled out early." If there is a chance of pregnancy.

xObroKen68x3 answered Wednesday December 15 2004, 5:21 pm: If I were you, I wouldn't bother with it unless you can get a condom. Don't take the risk because I don't think that either of you would be ready to raise a child. It's a big responsibility. And just because she ended doesn't mean that her egg hasn't reproduced. Sperm lives in a girl for 5-7 days and her egg could reproduce within that time and she could possibly get pregnant. Don't do it unless you are both completely ready and you can use a condom. Don't have unprotected sex becuase you don't know when an "accident" will happen! [ xObroKen68x3's advice column | Ask xObroKen68x3 A Question ]
thpsmasta2k answered Tuesday December 14 2004, 8:00 pm: UMM....YOU CAN ALWAYS GET A CONDOM...THEY ARE SO EASY TO GET... AND IF YOU FEEL EMBARASSED ABOUT IT JUST GO TO A GAS STATION AND GO TO THE BATHROOM THERE... AND THEY USUALLY HAVE COMDOM DISPENSERS THERE (most do at least) that is probably the safest bet i would say
kittyluvr1826 answered Monday December 13 2004, 4:00 pm: there is deffinitely a chance. we learned about this in health class, and that you can get pregnant anytime. i would have your girlfriend checked out because she COULD be pregnant.

snowwalker69 answered Wednesday December 8 2004, 10:42 am: Well, there's a chance she couldn't, and a chance she will. Let's say 50/50 just for the hell of it. See, just because you pull out early, doesn't mean she can't. Your precum has sperm in it as well. And if she is not on birth control ... oh god. lol. Anyways, if you can't find a condom, go to a bar during the day or something. They have like, machines that you out change in and One pops out. lol. jokerzgrl answered Tuesday December 7 2004, 4:37 pm: Pulling out doesn't work. You can still get pregnant, thats a myth, sorry. Theres still sperm in your pre-cum, so the you still have the risk f getting pregnant. A women can get pregnant at just about anytime, so if you guys are going to be having sex, use a contraceptive of some sort.

irelandscowboy answered Monday December 6 2004, 2:16 am: Well i am going to say although the chance of prenacy is low (yet very possible), there is still a high risk of STD's. It would be a good idea to settle down and wait untill she starts birth control, and you purshase a condom (avalible at ANY place that sells them, they do not have a age restriction on them other than your own embarrasment. most clecks will not say anything and if they do its normally about them being happy your not haveing a chi9ld at 15 and using their tax money for medic aid) remeber to take it easy, its a long emotinal ride and a 10 minute period of heaven :). PerkyPeacock answered Sunday December 5 2004, 4:08 pm: it can still happen. it's not as likely... but there's always the possibility. if the both of you are too young to be on birth control, maybe sex isn't the best of ideas for you. [ PerkyPeacock's advice column | Ask PerkyPeacock A Question ]
Striker6909 answered Sunday December 5 2004, 12:54 pm: well if you pull out early in any case than that's good but you should tell her to wash herself after just to make sure that there wasn't anything transferred [ Striker6909's advice column | Ask Striker6909 A Question ]
alisonmarie answered Sunday December 5 2004, 12:08 pm: 1. There is always a chance of a female getting pregnant during sex.
2. Precum, which would be leaking from your penis before you pulled out, contains sperm. It can also transmit STIs.
3. Condoms are available at any local pharmacy, some school nurses might give them away for free, Planned Parenthood (again...free), local health clinics, etc. [ alisonmarie's advice column | Ask alisonmarie A Question ]

NEVERLETG00 answered Saturday December 4 2004, 11:47 pm: yes sometimes having sex after the girls done with her period is good, but still no matter what use a condom or she should be on birth control, i know this sounds crazy but start being responsible of you both. theres condoms at drug stores, and their easy to get. so i dont think 'i didn't have a condom' would be a good excuse to her being pregnant. cutiepie12335 answered Saturday December 4 2004, 11:29 pm: there is ALWAYS A CHANCE OF PRGNANCY, IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT TIME OF MONTH IT IS, and "pulling out early" still leaves a HUGE risk, but like i said, you HAVE TO HAVE PROTECTION unless you want the risk of your girl friend becoming pregnant. ( im assuming your a teenager, only cuz there are mostly teens on this site, so all of the stats, or most of them are for teens.) ( if your not, sorry, but you can still search the internet for unplanned pregnancies)
~Eight hundred-twenty thousand (820,000) teen girls get pregnant each year.
~Thirty-four percent of young women get pregnant at least once before they turn 20 ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~Thirty-four percent of young women become pregnant at least once before they reach the age of 20 -- about 820,000 a year. Eight in ten of these pregnancies are unintended and 79 percent are to unmarried teens.([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~Most people say teens should remain abstinent but should have access to contraception. Ninety-four percent of adults in the United States-and 91 percent of teenagers-think it important that school-aged children and teenagers be given a strong message from society that they should abstain from sex until they are out of high school.([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~Contraceptive use among sexually active teens has increased but remains inconsistent. Three-quarters of teens use some method of contraception (usually a condom) the first time they have sex. A sexually active teen who does not use contraception has a 90 percent chance of pregnancy within one year([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~Yes. A majority of both girls and boys who are sexually active wish they had waited. Eight in ten girls and six in ten boys say they wish they had waited until they were older to have sex.([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~Teen mothers are less likely to complete high school, (only one-third receive a high school diploma) and more likely to end up on welfare (nearly 80 percent of unmarried teen mothers end up on welfare).([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~The sons of teen mothers are 13 percent more likely to end up in prison while teen daughters are 22 percent more likely to become teen mothers themselves([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~78% of teen pregnancies are unplanned.([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~80% of the decrease in pregnancy rate among sexually active teens is due to effective contraceptive use.([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~If a teen does not use contraceptives, she has a 90% chance of becoming pregnant within one year of becoming sexually active..([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~41% of teen moms complete high school.
([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
~Nearly 40% of teen pregnancies end in abortion.([Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
but please please remember, that the best way to keep from having an unplanned pregnancy, is to abstain from sex, honestly it might be hard, but its always for the better, there are far to many risks, STS, AIDS, and of course an unplanned pregnancy, and it happens more often than not, so dont think that oh, if i "pull out early" that it wont happen, or the common line " we used contraception", that it wont happen. I think its good that u dont want an unplanned pregnancy, but i also think that sex should be abstained until marriage, 1 because sex is something special, that should be saved for your wife, 2 if you do have an unplanned pregnancy, how are you going to pay for the baby? if your a teen, will you be able to finish school? , its hard enough to support yourself, let alone another person, most unmarried couples who have an unplanned pregnancy either end up getting an abortion, having the baby and putting it up for adoption, or keeping the baby and breaking up, which usually leaves the girl with the baby, trying to support herself and the baby, while trying to maintain a job, and not to mention, you loose your social life, when you have a baby, you loose everything to dedicate your time to the baby. if you think your ready and mature enough for sex, than you should be mature enough to not only talk to your parents and take nescessary precautions.
hope i helped , and please , like i said, remember the best way to not get pregnant, is to abstain!!! [ cutiepie12335's advice column | Ask cutiepie12335 A Question ]
zapreth answered Saturday December 4 2004, 10:46 pm: There is ALWAYS a chance of pregnacy before during and after the period. Eggs follow a general cycle, but they don't stick to it and you can't ask them. Pre-cum, cum, and residue around the outside all contain sperm, all of it can get a girl pregnant. Even with a condom, pregnacies can still occur. Nothing is 100% effective in preventing pregancy, except a full hysterectomy. Plus, you open youself to all kinds of disease without a condom. Even if both of you don't have STDs, jock itch, yeast infections, congenital herpes and all kinds of little nasties are waiting to try for you. I'm 31, I've been around long enough to see all of this crap happen. [ zapreth's advice column | Ask zapreth A Question ]
mysticpixie05 answered Saturday December 4 2004, 9:27 pm: yes, there is a chance. theres a chance she could get pregnant anytime with out a condom. sometimes even they arent reliable. but it is better than none at all becuase most of the time they are safe. so no matter when it is use protection.
xXxpinky615xXx answered Saturday December 4 2004, 9:25 pm: There is a chance of her getting pregnant. Precum also contais sperm and once that precum is near vaginal fluids those suckers can swim. How did you have no luck getting condoms? Go to a drug store and buy a box. They are like 10-15 dollars. People can't prevent you from having sex, they can just prevent you from having kids. I dont' know why they wouldn't sell you them. But when a girl is about to have her period, the week before is when she is most fertile so the chances of getting pregnant are pretty high. The week/day after she finishes her period is when she is least fertile. Go to the drug store, buy a box and hide it somewhere. Just be careful. Make sure you put the condom on correctly and check to make sure there are no holes/tears in it. No matter what, even if you do pull out early ALWAYS wear a condom. Hope this helped.
