A father finds his son praying at night. 'God bless Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma. Ta ta Grandpa.' The father finds this odd, but doesn't think too much of it. The next morning the grandfather dies. Does anyone know of a really great romance novel that would make me cry?
Or even just a sad book that's somewhat of a tearjerker?

'The Crow'. Everyone has seen the movie, but no one takes the time to read the graphic novel. It was written by James O'Barr. He lost the woman he loved to a drunk driver and wrote "The Crow". It has been dubbed the greatest love letter because of the raw emotion that has been put into it. I cry every time I read it, and often come back to it when I can't understand the world that well.

whats the big deal with 60's music. my perants are always saying how that music was so much better and all the artist back then are the best and people now just lip sync and dont write thier own music and suck. same with the public. all the best ratted songs and albums and artists are old songs and artists.
i just don't know why that music is apperantly so much better, people are saying that now people don't write thier own songs or play thier own insterments or lip sync but lots of artist did the same thing like elvis and the supremes and many girl groups and the monkees and cher and it's just kindof enoying. can anyone please explain to me why that music is better or why it's more popular.

The music back then had a lot more heart. There were a lot of big social issues at the time. It was highly original and catchy. And the feeling behind it. The love, the freedom. And yes....the drug refrences, but beyond that, it was new and fresh and exciting.

I'm "Advanced" Sex Ed. in school. Advanced is just when you go more in depth to what you should feel and/or expect in sex. My teacher encouradged us to go home and take a mirror to look at our "parts". So I went home took a compact and looked down there, only to discover that my Labia Minora are light brown. I know that's not normal compared to the light pink pictures we saw. I hardly ever masterbate,I'm a virgin, and am about 99% sure I don't have an infection. They aren't sore, swollen, or even tender. You need to realize that you're young. You just got out of a relationship. You need time alone. I know it's rough, but trust me. As for your friend. Don't get jealous over her. Neither party can help the way that they feel. They aren't doing this all out of spite. She is still your friend. Be calm, alright? In due time, something will take your mind off of this, ok?

The lenght really doesn't matter. It depends on the person and their tastes. You just have to find something that suits your height, your shoes, and when you take your shoes off when you dance, if you choose to do so. Good places to look for unexpensive dresses...I say it all the time. Second-hand stores. Some people aren't comfortable with it, but most people only wear the dresses once and give them away. It's easier to shop for second-hand dresses if you're a really small size, like 7 on down. And if that's not your thing...hmmm...I dunno what else to tell you. If I think of something, I'll revise my answer.

It didn't. I'm sorry. I had to go out an buy my own copy. By the way, I LOVE HYBRID THEORY! That's one of my top favorite albums. I never get tired of it...I could go on and on about Linkin Park and Mike SHinoda...*sigh!*

I wouldn't say I'm really goth...I don't like lables too much and just wear and act in a way that makes me happy and expresses how I feel. But, I do wear a lot of Tripp and Lip Service and Sourpuss....See, I'm brown, so some people are shocked, like "What the hell?!" and, I don't really care. Some peopel are douche bags when it comes to the whole lable thing. I mean, people criticize people all the time. There is, like no way around it. People hate what they can't understand and fear what they can't conquer. So, if people are giving you guff, well...they should try to get to know you, unless you come off as stand-offish. Then maybe, you should open up a little more.

I'm 14 and I started my period like 3 years ago. I thought that when you started your boobs grew faster and stuff. But mine havn't grown that much. Like I still have cleavage with a push-up bra but I thought I'd be bigger by now. My moms' are really big so she told me, mine would be too. So is there a reason why this is happening? Is it normal? Ahhh, growing up! I remember that wonderful time of puberty and awkwardness...Well, to my point. It's different for some people. Some people take longer to grow. Realistically *sp?* You could be as "heavy-chested" as your mom or you may not be. My has always had a big chest, but I didn't get it so much...I got the hips and the, *ahem* bottom. Don't worry about your shape, love. You're not done growing.

Okay, I'm like a week or so late on my period. But my period has never been right on time 2months in a row. I masterbate, but I've never had sex nor have I had oral sex, just masterbated. I always get worried sick that I'm pregnant when my period is late. I shouldn't worry should I because nothing can happen if I haven't had sex right? (link)

You've never had sex, there is nothing to worry about. You never specified that you have been with the opposite sex, and I'm assuming that you haven't. You have not come in contact with any sperm, or anything have you? This includes foreplay. I'm doubting that you have had any contact with sperm, like I mentioned before. Your period may be late because...well, because you're worrying so much. You're stressing out over something that, well isn't a big deal. There may be other stressors in your life, as well A lot of things affect your period, especailly stress. But, if you still don't have your period, like in the next day or so, I think you should go to the doctor. Another thing to consider. How long have you been menustarting? If its the first year or so of your period, its going to spurradic. Your body is adjusting. If you have any more questions, i would be happy to help you.

When you first start your period it does take time for your boidy to adjust
it won't just be normal right away. Its complelety normal. And the more you stress, the more youy may prolong it. But fret not, young lass all is well. You would be amazed at what affects your menstrual cycle.

Well, I feel that you should do it with someone you have emotions for. If the guy you're with happens to be experienced, thats an added bonus, becuase he knows how to make you more comfortable and he won't just be frantically rubbing against you. He'll actaully try to make it more enjoyable for you. On the other hand, if you're with a guy who is a virgin, neither one of you know what the hell you're doing so you're both on the same page.....Go based on emotions sweetie, thats all I can say.

Well, it's high school. High school tends to have a lot of homework. You have to motivate yourself and set up a reasonable time to do your homeowrk. the fact that you want to play sports should be motivation enough. If you don't get in the habit of doing homework now, it will be hard to get into throughout high school. Just keep up with it, ok? Hang in there, bucko, you'll make it through.

Well, some girls go either, when they sart having sex or some even wait until they're 17 or 18. If you feel that you need to go, then go if you feel that something might be wrong. There's nothing wrong with getting a little check-up.

It would be quite harmful. You could get all sorts of infections from that. Like a yeast infection. You should just wear a pantyliner, it makes things way easier and you won't risk getting TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome).

I'm not exactly an athiest, but I can undersatnd the point of view. One of the reasons that some of my friends are atheists is because, wellYou can't prove that there is a God or Higher Power. You cannot prove that anything in the Holy Books actually happened. Science really dissproves things such as creationism and whatnot. I mean, with science you can see and prove what's there but, but usually believing in God requires a lot of blind faith, things that can't be proven. I aplogize if I offended you, but thats one point of view.

Calm down, kiddo. I'm going into my Senior year, I can help you. It's not that bad. You just have to be calm about. It's normal to be nervous, it's ok. Depending on how big your high school is, you may need help finding some classes...just go to the office, some kids can be jerks. It will be hectic and a lot of kids will be immature about it (and continue to be immature even after high school), but you just have to handle it all in stride.
The nervouseness will pass in all due time. Just don't appear nervous, thats all.

I like my school and the people in it and stuff, but im always, like depressed because my Friends who are the people who I hang out with the most dont seem to likke me anymore. I was wondering if I should go to a private school for freshman year next year. I mean everyone else will be new, too its just im afraid to start over again.
